Hah. Nice. So the Galaxy S4 might be released as soon as Februrary 2013 with the following rumored features (from the article):
1) A 5" SAMOLED display which may or may not be the new flexible tech. (Getting into Note territory here...)
2) Will have a quad-core exynos or qualcomm cpu
3) The design may be different for each US carrier again (bummer)

hmmmmmmmm....... I'm waiting to see what HTC would come up... Some of their designs badly need a successor... say, the HTC Desire Z, it was the last phone they made with a keyboard.... and that was about 3 years ago already.... I'm quite a fan of phones with keyboards, so I'm also gonna be interested what Samsung would put out witha keyboard... Now that I'm on the samsung bandwagon, I'm quite inclined to get a samsung phone...
but yeah, nice to see the S4 is already under development... but I'm afraid 5" of screen is too big for me already... The S3 is on a sweet spot on it's size, still fairly big for me, but does have some advantages. Meanwhile, the Note, when I saw it... it looked amazing... but simply, the screen was too big.... so I skipped it and here came the S3

Ummm, myTouch 4G Slide aka the doubleshot sound familiar?
i think the timeline will be similar to htc one x and galaxy s3
htc released one x around april-ish, and samsung released galaxy s3 couple months later around july-ish
htc has that rumored 5inch 1080p phone... maybe gonna come out late late this year or early next year?
and samsung galaxy s4 maybe shortly after once again

It's not fake.
The Korea Times website is just the online version of a reputable Korean newspaper. It's not sham news site like the dailynews.co.uk is with alien abductions and whatnot.
I'm holding out for the Note 5... or maybe the S6. I just can't decide.
I realize this is a totally subjective topic, but if the 5" screen size rumor holds true, this would suck moose junk in my opinion, unless the plan is to decrease bezel of current sized S3 handset to accomodate more screen.
I sold the Note to move to the S3 specifically because that phone was freakishly and totally unnecessarily gargantuan, so I hate to think that Samsung is moving that direction with the S4 also.
Again, my hope is that they bring the screen out further toward the edges on the same size handset as the S3 currently is, but if not, I think it's HTC time for me, come next Sept when I'm for upgrade.

Agreed, I was hesitant to go to the S3 because 4.8 sounded too big as my kid had a infuse 4g at 4.5...but they figured out how to make the 4.8 the same size basically as the infuse so hopefully they do this again as I just dont think I can go bigger than the S3. I would look for this to be out in June/July just like this year. I will be halfway through my contract so it wont matter much to me...

Then use bluetooth, or a headset, or speakerphone, and if you don't want to, why care what other people think for fraction of time that you hold it up to your ear? 99% of the time we're using our phones as computers, so the larger the screen the better. Sacrificing screen size to please others is retarded; not the other people you're so worried about.

Whoever said anything about worrying about what other people think.
I don't want a big ass phone. I'm only 5'3 and my hands are far from being the largest. If the phone was any larger then I'd have trouble holding it properly. I also just don't like the look of the larger phones. When I see the note I think to myself it is ugly because it is so big.
People other than me may find the larger size more welcome or be indifferent, I just don't want the phone to get any larger.
Can't wait till we start rockin 25 inch phones. That will awesome! Can't wait for 2023!!

Guys I never seen this color on tmobile website before. It was either black or white but now the black one say Steel Gray. This is a new color. If you see the chrome of the camera is not black!!!! Oh one more thing I know this phone is 4.5" screen and they got it confuse in here one part says 4.5" and in the other part says 4.8" T-Mobile need to get their info together same as the nexus 4. if you see it they are saying that it have a sd card slot and can take up to 64GB lol

Ok folks, I have a big issue with my Note 2.
When I go grocery shopping, I have Grocery IQ up and since I don't like holding my Note 2 phone in hand and I have the Amzer Shellster in Black, I just clip it to my shopping cart so I can see my phone screen. It usually take 1 hour to shop but since having the Note 2, it take me 2 - 3 hour to finish shopping. Why you ask? Well, so far every visit, 3 - 6 people will stop me and ask me what phone is that. When I say Samsung Galaxy Note 2, they look at me with blank stare as if I am speaking chinese. So then I have to demo the phone for them and that take like 20 - 30 minutes. Today, same thing happens, lady was so impressed with the phone, she kept talking to me for 40 minutes and when you are talking about the Note 2, time flies by so fast and I had to rush home without getting everything wife wanted. So, my wife was very pissed. I might have to go shopping at my Super Walmart after 1am tonight, less chance of someone stopping me to ask about the phone.
Yes, I get people asking questions about this large device. More non-iPhone users would ask questions, than iPhone users. Most iPhone users would just give the Galaxy Note 2 a stare. The few iPhone users who do asks me about this device say they are impressed with Galaxy Note 2. But I really get a kick watching those iPhone users, that don't ask, stare at my Galaxy Note 2. Even some of those iPhone users would give me a evil stare as they play with their iPhone in the store.
What I am surprised is that the tech news media, including CNet, puts Galaxy S3 as the Android flagship of 2012 when actually the Galaxy Note 2 is really the real Android flagship of 2012.
Your best bet is to focus on your shopping like you have a purpose. Mean as that maybe, it keeps you out of trouble with your wife.
Yea I should, maybe should keep it in my pocket and look at it here and there. If I had time don't mind talking to them lol. Too bad Samsung can't pay us to advertise.

When I see iphone users in public I whip out my Note II and find something to browse really fast to make it look like I'm doing something. Then look over to see the person all lost and confused, just wondering what in the world they have just seen. Always brings up a conversation. And most females are iphone users might I add

I've already sold my wife, my mom, and two coworkers on the Note 2.
My whole team at work are iphone lovers. One just got the 4s and has been showing siri off like no other. Told them that iphones are for people who are simple, spoon fed and afraid of exeriencing new technology. My other coworker is in awe with his iphone 5. All excited because he can get his work email on his 5 and not use thr work black berry. Lol. Must be so excited because its taller and actually has 4g now lol. Good way to spend your money.

If you're single and looking to pick up some MILF using the Note II, I would suggest try shopping at a Super Target during the weekday before noon between 10 AM - 12 AM. My wife saw the Note II in a T-Mobile store and I've ordered one for her instead of the Nexus 4. I expect to get lots of great sex. :laugh::good:
I hosted the ufc fights Saturday and there was a couple showing off there ipne5 and they asked me if my Note was the new ipad mini. I laughed and first told them I'm into new technology not stolen technology. So I stated to show them all the features and then I broke out the Spen there jaws both dropped when I was grabbing pics out of the browser and a few other Spen features. But I left the best for last when I turned on Skyvi and had her turn my lights on and off.

How do you like grocery iq? I currently use an emeals.com generated grocery list (due to being addicted to Dave Ramsey's teachings), and am wondering if it's worth the trouble to move the grocery list into grocery iq.

I think I get the "is that the iPad mini" question about once a day. But ya, you're right, it's a chick magnet.
People love to ask me about it. I'll be on the floor at work and pull it out to check messages or email and get asked "Is that a phone?" which starts a whole product demo. And man o man the faces when I pull out the S pen lmao.

HomeWorks QS, I can control lights, audio-visual, and temperature control. Then Skyvi is Androids better answer to Siri. Unfortunately I can't actually tell Skyvi to turn anything on or off, but I can call up apps with her. Besides HW's, I have smart glass for my xbox360, and Unified Remote for my pc.
So basically I have my whole home controlled by our phones.
Now if I can just control the lawnmower, taking out the trash, and taking a leak during the game.

I haven't tried anything else other than Grocery IQ but it works well for me. My wife puts what she wants into her S3 on her grocery IQ and I just go to the store and the list will pop up. You can put comments in and assign which store to go pick up the items from. There are lot of other features it has but I haven't used them. Best thing to do is maybe try a small list and see how it does. The synching works well but it does a take a little bit of time before everything shows up on the other phone, like 10 minutes

Just been on my mac and accidentally clicked on a link for a football stadium in Glasgow as there is a concert there soon. I was using safari as my browser.

I got chills the first time it gave me the traffic report when I was at work. I live close to work so it not really useful for me since there's never traffic but for someone that has a long commute, i imagine its an awesome feature.
Figured I would share this story with you guys.
So today I went to class and as I passed the breezeway that's located in the center of my university ( University of miami), I saw a Samsung kiosk being set up. After I got out of class I walked over and saw they were showing off the Galaxy s4 in the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1.
Along with displaying these products they were doing a Samsung challenge, in which you could take out whatever smart phone you owned at the moment and challenge it against the Galaxy s4. If your phone was able to beat the Galaxy s4 in a random challenge you would win cash, electronics towards your non profit organization, gift cards to our universities bookstore and also a Galaxy Tab 2.
So of course there was a massive line of students stepping up to challenge the s4. I saw people pulling out Iphones, droid razr maxs, S3's, S2's, HTC ONE's and DNA's, oppo 5's,evo lte's ....and losing horribly lol.
The challenges included turning your phone on without touching it, send a picture to another persons phone ( representatives s4) the fastest, have two apps on the same screen at once, highlight an item on the screen without actually touching the screen, swipe through pictures without touching the screen and a couple other random challenges that the application on the s4 would randomly pick. The more challenges you won, the more prizes/ bigger the prizes you get. Almost everyone lost in the first round.
So of course I signed up for the challenge not telling them that I have a galaxy note 2 ( had to sign up on a tab 2 and specify what phone you had, so told them I had a note....lol see what I did ). Whenever you begin the challenge one of the representatives takes a picture with the new samsung camera ( also being displayed) of the Challenger and the s4.
As soon as it was my turn I took out my galaxy note 2, and every rep looked me and said "....f***!" . As you can guess I ended up winning the challenge 3 times ( turn phone on without touching, sbeam photo and airview with the stylus) so ended up winning a galaxy tab 2, flips covers, " next big thing " tshirts, cash, 15000 dollars in samsung electronics to my umiami non profit organizations and a ton of 10 dollar gift cards.
Thank you samsung for an unexpected awesome day. They are apparently visiting a bunch of colleges around the country for the release so check with your University to see if they will be near you!

That's cool, although still not a loose for Samsung as it was a Samsung phone that beat or matched the features of the s4. The note is a beast and I suspect the N3 will put the s4 to shame. I am sure they were thrilled about forking up the money though/tab lol

I initially wanted to try out all the challenges on my phone, but it was clearly rooted and themed. I liked the consolation prizes anyways. Even if you don't win, you still get a t shirt, speakers, flip cover, and lip balm. So I was happy either way.
