CM trouble - Samsung Galaxy W I8150

Hello. I have some problems with CM9/10. If i have flashed this custom rom, after some time the phone starts to behave strange. After i lock phone, it will sometimes call itself. Or when I unlock, phone is completely in a different state than I had locked it. For example, it unlock in alarm settings, but i locked it on homescreen. Someone met with this problem? Some tips to fix it? With stock rom, phone working normally.
Sorry for me english

Nobody? damn it.

Where to download basebands?

Hi can I know if there are any sites to download basebands?

i'd like to know too.
I think u have to download the full firmware. Then extract the baseband from that firmware. There's already a thread showing how to. Just follow the instruction given.

If you follow the instructions, extracting basebands is a very easy and self-doable thing to do. Basically, just extract and recompress.

Yup, the radios.... Bluetooth, GPS, WiFi, etc anything that deals with signal transmission/reception. The later versions should of course correct any bugs of the older baseband versions.
With that said, frnt, I don't think changing baseband would lessen your lag in Temple Run. Maybe check memory usage, that's the usual culprit of lag when playing games on our Wonder. To check, go to Settings > Apps. You'll find the available free memory under the 'Running' tab. Mine usually lags when I'm down to 30-40 MB free.
I hope this helps.

it does affect performance & lag decrease. DXLM2 laggy, DXLC1 and XXLM8 significantly less lag.

It comes with the stock ROM for Indonesia, the last one before the "value pack" release, IIRC.
ETA: I honestly have no complaints re: performance of DXKL1. It has stable 2G/3G performance, and very good WiFi performance (I can suck bandwidth out of free WiFi hotspots, rendering my friends' Internet to be molasses ). That's why when people upgraded to the latest baseband, I kept mine (a helpful soul at XDA advised me to not upgrade if mine's performing well).

i know, my wife's phone was DXKL1 standard & no root, and it was very smooth compared to my phone (Rooted Cow's latest ROM DXLC1), after i upgrade her ROM to CM9 i also change the baseband to DXLC1 or XXLM8 and she complaint that her phone was not as smooth as before [in gaming, temple run as benchmark]
could you extract your DXKL1 baseband for me? i'd really like to try.

Honestly, I don't know how to extract the baseband from my phone... you'll have to wait while I download the firmware files overnight...
ETA: Based on the names of the firmware Zip's, it is highly probable that this one is the one that contains DXKL1: http://www.hotfile.com/dl/148070028/d50e67a/I8150DXLA2_I8150OLBKL1_XSE.zip.html
The other CSC's ends in ...LA1 or ...LD1; this is the only one whose name contains ...KL1.
Download it and apply the process described in the "extracting baseband" thread. I accidentally downloaded the wrong one (the ...LA1) and now have to wait 26 minutes before I can download again... and I am about to leave the office and won't have access to a high speed Internet until tomorrow...

how to upgrade from XXKL3 to XXLM3

My Unsolved Problem with Wifi
Hi,
So i recently upgraded to CWM9 Beta1 and i like it but im having problems with it on this first day. The most important one which i really need to fix ASAP is that i cannot connect to my Wifi connection; The phone fails to find any Wifi connections whatsoever. I asked about this on the bug report topic and i was told i have to upgrade my broadband to XXLM3... no one told me how. I searched for it, i didnt find anything so i decided to make it a topic.
Before anything, i would also like to use this chance to thank all those people who have helped me get where i am, i've used my thankyou quota so no worries, they will be thanked once i can thank again (i just want to show my appreciation )... im taking baby steps, so hey! Im like this cute innocent kid who's trying to learn!
Thanks in advance
Or atleast give me an alternate solution! Gawd!
I wish i could delete this thread and make a new one...
I take it Wifi is an issue on android 4 huh?... Pretty lame to know you have a phone with no wifi, it looses its worth this way...

Well if I get your question correctly then you have to extract the baseband from the firmware then flash it with odin . That means you will have to download the stock rom containing the baseband you want and then extract it . For further information of how to extract a baseband see this guide : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1658809

If you can't extract the baseband, you can go the long way:
1. Download original LM3 firmware.
2. Download the suitable odin and ancora.ops file.
3. Flash the LM3 firmware using ODIN.
4. Once back in GB, check everything's working.
5. If no problems, then reflash CWM and CM.
This is a longer but safer route, imo. It makes sure that your hardware is working properly coz if you're on GB and wifi still doesn't work, the phone can go straight to SSC.

My frustration with the wifi

I did everything you can think of but nothing helped!
When i first bought the phone the wifi worked perfectly with the stock rom. After a couple of months i upgraded to CWM9 beta1, everything was okay except the wifi;
They told me Wifix would fix the problem; it didnt (only worked sometimes)
I upgraded to Beta2 hoping that might solve the issue... it didnt.
They said you have to change the baseband, i went back to stock rom with the latest release from samsung, stock Rom (2.3.6) Wifi worked perfectly.
I upgraded again to CWM9 beta2 hoping this new baseband would help... still wifi didnt work.
I changed my baseband to XXLM8... still no wifi
I changed my rom to Remics, this time very hopeful, promising my family this might work (because they use my wifi~ thats why i say its really important for me) and STILL it doesnt work.
Wifi only works with stock rom and nothing else! And i dont like the stock rom, i want ics. This problem is frustrating me! Please can anyone find out the solution? PLEASE! I dont have the budget to buy a new phone with stock ics i have to fix THIS phone!
Thanks in advance,

I have the same problem dude... Always had this problem with ICS.. I tried really everything I read... and nothing really worked
Is your WiFi Connection as slow as mine on the Video ?
Seems like it works for a lot of people, because I haven't seen many people talking about WiFi Problems in ICS. Im from Germany.. Maybe there are different WiFi codes/drivers what ever, over here..?
I stopped flashing and trying all Roms out.. Im on FAW, bought an iPod Shuffle for music, and the Wonder to communicate with people, gf etc.
Perfect option for me.

It seldomly works... seldomly... and thats when i use Wifix. Without wifix it never works!
I haven't tried with another router but, stock rom works perfectly, ics doesnt work; that suggests prblm is not hardware but software instead.
I have an idea, what if i extract the "wifi program" of my stock rom from root, and put it instead of the wifi program in ics? Will that work? Is it possible?
i dont know, i havent tested on videos. There must be an explanation...
hey! what if i copy the wifi apk from my root, and install it instead of the wifi apk on cm9?
Try to flash CM9 beta 3, but this time before flashing, format system.
same problem also. but as for me wifi off when screen off. sometimes need to off wifi first then on back to get signal. stock rom dint have this problem.
maybe its ics common problem.

Help Unbrick my galaxy wonder

plz help me i have samsung galaxy wonder GT-I8150
and I tried to flash CWM 6.0.1.9 as described here but now the phone not booting
not even showing Samsung Logo at boot
it seems I have bricked my phone
may be I did it wrong as this partition /dev/block/mmcblk0p4 is not the recovery and
the phone is now bricked how can I have it working again
the phone doesn't response to the power button
I just have a black screen I cant get to download mode
If you *can't* get into Download Mode, only one solution : SSC.
Where did you get the mmcblk0p4 name anyway?
According to the list of partitions given by Sir Arco, p4 is the MBR. In other words, you've hosed *everything* in your W, including the all-important boot partition.
Recovery in the W is in p13, not p4.
