[Q] x3reme Sense rom - slow to go back to home - HTC One V

I just flashed the x3reme Sense ROM on my husbands HTC one v and today noticed that when he is in anything - like one or more levels down, in settings or messages or anything - and hit the home button, it takes a few seconds. I get a 'loading...' message and then it brings me to the home screen. Is there anything I can do for this issue? It used to be quick and snappy, now it lags. I've tried searching but I can't find this issue anywhere.

How long ago was it since you flashed it? It could be an app you installed or something else... What kernel did you flash?

I just flashed yesterday and he just put games that have been on it before. I didn't flash anything else, just the ROM. I'm on Virgin Mobile btw.

Lock Rosie in memory by using pimp my Rom app........

Unlocking, but screen does not come on

I've been having this problem lately since I re-flashed the stock rom on my G2, whenever I press my lock button, sometimes the 4 capacitive buttons at the bottom turn on, but my screen remains black. When I press the lock button again, the screen will flash on and off as if it was on the whole time and the lock button locked it. I usually just have to spam the lock button a few times until it turns on correctly, is anybody else having this problem?
Also, I'm able to press on the unlocking button on the screen and drag it to the other side and I'll have all of the haptic feedback and swipe to different homescreens, I just can't see anything on the screen.
I came from one of the thrown together Desire Z roms and I flashed paul's stock rom, the one with superuser preloaded. I also flashed Cyanogen's addon shortly after the rom. I'm looking for a solution that doesn't require any factory resets, thanks for the help.
Bump
Help please, it's getting worse

You aren't the only one with this problem. Are you running an overclocked kernel? It seems like when I run an overclocked kernel I get this problem and when I'm running stock, I don't
Did u flashed back to stock kernel?
How would I flash back to stock kernel? Would I just re flash the stock rom?

Stupid Cyanogen bug: BLANK KEYBOARD SCREEN

got the Firmware back in May and to this day it hasn't been fixed, WTF
how do I fix this, the keyboard goes blank every other time I text, texting is a basic thing for mobile communication how did they let this slip by! I doubt this firmware was tested at all before release it's like releasing a car and forgetting to add a wing mirror......
No one is forcing you to use mods if it's not upto your high standards. FYI, I text a lot (hardly call), and am still to experience this bug you are referring to.
Someone else posted the same problem in the Cyanogen community, got no response, I'm not saying I wish to remove this mod, I'm asking what do I have to do to fix this issue, I am not the only one having it!
try this, text your friend, press the back button or home button or even the power button after you have done texting. tada! blank keyboard = reboot
Am I missing something I've been in this forum everyday and have never heard of a bug like this???? When was last time you flashed?

had some recent problems but nothing i couldnt fix with help from xda members but never had a single keyboard problem (fingers crossed). i would say if you dont or havnt then you need to do a clean install.
I literally flashed it like 3 days after they figured out how to put Cyanogen on the wildfire..
this bugs been here from day one, my friends have it also (2) and I saw a recent post from an american having the exact problem.
I have unlimited texts so I text lots everyday...
and if I keep texting and play about with my phone like check phone logs (basically, pressing the back button often from texting to menu etc)
I will get a blank keyboard, very frustrating, I only can fix it by REBOOTING
There's been like 200+ updates since may?? Why don't you update??

never had this issue.. :/ and i texting 500+ everyday
where are the updates?!? I've been on 7.0.3 since may and have never updated I haven't seen a new release?
Download
Download from here http://download.cyanogenmod.com/?type=nightly&device=buzz
There's a stable version called cm7.1 rc1 in the development section but I recommend flashing the latest nightly which is updated daily as its better, faster and more stable in my opinion.

If u r using any sorta themes on ur cm7 then just apply the default 1, reboot ur phone and see if it still happens

This thread still makes me chuckle, are you guys waiting for someone from the cyanogen team to pop round and fix it for you?

[Q] Have home screen lag, what can I do?

Running stock ICS haven't touched anything.
Every time I am in an app and click the home button it loads a blank home screen then takes a while to load everything on my home screen. It didn't use to do this, only started in the past few days. Any ideas?

I was having that issue after I installed a live wallpaper (Microbes). Got rid of that and it went back to normal.
Don't have a live wallpaper installed.

Are you using a custom launcher?Did you touch anything in developer options?
Did you install an app before it started acting up? It may not be fully compatible with 4.0 and causing issues. Also, have you tried to do a simple restart?
Found the issue. It was easy battery saver. Got rid of it and its fine now.

it case it happens again, what your experiencing is home screen redraw. it happens when the android system kills the launcher to save up memory.
this means that when you press home to go back to the launcher, it has to refresh, and redraw everything. and the more you have on your homescreens, and the more apps/widgets you have installed the longer it takes.
i've noticed it happening a lot on my phone when i'm switching between apps and then press home. It's normal for third party launchers but very strange for the stock one to have this so often.
I've had the exact same problem of late (also with the stock app-draw), I imagine it's a case of pinpointing the suspect app that's causing this. It's pretty serious though, a good 2 or 3 seconds and even then it's super choppy until the home screens are redrawn... The joys of early adoption :\
I was just searching to see if anyone else was experiencing this. I get the same over here.
I had similar issue. Something ate all my RAM, but it wasn't listed in 'running apps' in settings . Reboot fixed it
well folks, the sooner you go onto custom ROM the better. I tried ignoring these (and several other issues you are about to encounter) but the list was getting endless
I've bigxie and franco kernel now (4.0.3), not difficult to install, and now most of the STOCK issues are gone...

Can't pull up the notification bar

Hi,
I have a problem on my HTC one X - I can't pull up the notification bar.
after pulling it down, the only way to remove it is to press the Home or Back keys.
the problem comes and goes, and the touch sreen is working with no problem on the same places.
I'm with the original ROM, version 1.28.707.10
I can't think of any application I installed that cause this, because as I said, the problem just stoped by itself, and then coming back a few times.
Any idea what can it be?
Thanks,
Are you using a launcher?

no.
but the problem was fixed by itself again yesterday,
and today i got the update to 1.29.707.11 - maybe it will solve it for good.
I'm having the same problem.
In landscape mode I can pull it up again but not in portrait mode.
I'm having the issue with Leedroid ROM and CM9...full wipe doesn't resolve the issue.
Anyone know what's the cause of this?
