Desculpe amigo, no entiendo.
As far as I understood you, your phone is not showing you any boot screen OR there's currently no software running on your device, & I'm quite sure that your cell phone's battery is not charged enough to run the device in any mood, try searching your local mobile market for Universal Charger, charge your battery for 7-8 hours, meanwhile download RSDLite & Brazil Froyo Official SBF,after 7-8 hours then put battery back in defy, Turn your phone ON while pressing Vol UP [keep it pressed until it shows you bootloader], then open RSDLite & choose downloaded SBF, let it finish & VOILA, you're good to go again.........
PS: Defy is having locked bootloader, means whatever u do with your device, you can't brick it in any means, always it will run in Bootloader mode
U mean u can't even get into bootloader or recovery?....wat did u do jus before this happened?
Sent from my MB525 using xda premium
Did u throw the Defy to floor.. Seems the board of Phone is bend bcz of some seriuous shock ..
thanks for help
before it is the way that I could do the flash, but the last time I used a rom (Froyo) that I can not remember the way and left it,
I sent my phone to Motorola, but they included this pie plate that's my fault!
My problem is:
- Just see white LED,
- Black screen,
- Phone doesn't boot?
- Never ever see the motorola logo
McGyver Hack tried and left carrying several hours but the phone shows no signal, LED lights only when connected to USB
I hope you understand! D;

Did you try to follow this guide: http://forum.xda-developers.com/wik...#Recover_Nearly_Bricked_Phone_.28hopefully.29 ?
If not, do so. If you see the white LED and did not do any physical damage to the phone, it should be unbrickable and with the guide from above it should work again.
universal charger works just like McGyver?
I got a charger
My charger shows that the battery is full, I still have 8 hours to leave loading?
I did do the flash, but now not out of the motorola logo! and not able to enter the factory reset
Which rom did you flash?
Normally you should be able to enter stock recovery by holding vol-, powering on, and stop holding vol- when the yellow triangle appears. Then press vol- and vol+ at the same time and wipe cache. Reboot and done.
JORLA_U3_3.4.2_107-9
I can't enter to recovery mode, just bootloader
Am I doing something wrong with RSD? to put the flash, and when it appears to manually restart it restarts but gets stuck in the Motorola logo, remove the battery and put again holding power + vol up and it appears that the RSD over this process ... right?
microsd must be empty?
I am not able to sleep because of this D;
it's not important whether the sd is empty or not.
Maybe try a more recent version of rsd lite, like 5.1. Also install the latest motorola drivers.
You may also try to check the MD5 sum of your SBF against the one given on the download page. Or download the SBF again and reflash a second time.
Did you wait for RSD to display "Reboot phone manually" or "PASS/FINISHED" ? If you're not 100% sure that it's done, simply wait for 5 minutes or so and check whether it has finished or not.
You could also try to flash a 2.2.2 rom (nordic or so).

in part he is in "manually reboot phone" and hangs on the Motorola logo, it is still "manually reboot phone" even after five minutes, I pull the battery and replace and go into the bootloader, and woe in rsd lite it was "Reboot phone manually" is "PASS"
would somehow more radical? recovery by entering the pc?
my Defy is heating up, is this normal?
I had installed before the unit to CM7 problem

Starting at 1:05 and the next 20 seconds or so I don't really understand why you're putting the battery out and in so often. After rebooting the phone, you should simply wait for RSD to show PASS and then just wait another 2 minutes or so for the phone to boot. Why do you start it in bootloader mode again ?
Also, did you try to flash other Roms? If not, try Nordic 2.2.2 or others (but NOT 2.3.4 roms!!!!)
Btw, is it still impossible to enter stock recovery?
So ... I took the battery because the moment that appears to restart my device and manually reset it is in the motorola logo until the battery runs out, and if I call to replace and usually the rsd lite still says need to restart if I shot and put the battery and go into the boot loader shows the RSD lite "PASS"
poles already tried ROMs, including nordic
what I'm seeing is rather impossible to get into recovery, but now it appears after a few seconds after the motorola:
bootloader
09.10
Err: A5, 70,39,00,27

Pull out your battery for 2 minutes, put it back and try to boot. If that doesn't work then:
1) Power off your device (pulling out battery is the bulletproof way)
2) Press the volume-down button and hold it, then press the power button until you see a
white menu screen (bootloader)
3) Try to access recovery (navigate with volume-keys and powerbutton). If you cannot
access recovery then:
4) Download this file http://www.multiupload.com/BTJ8KY0KH9 and put it on your SD-card
root with an external memory card reader.
5) Boot to bootloader again and accept the installation
6) See if it works.

like to do all of this but it dont boot into bootloader doesnt mater if i push volume up or down and power on either way it vibrates 3 times than flashes led.
still... is HTC able to detect a rooted device even if it dont boot? and if so can they deny the waranty
This has happened to me 2-3 times. I definitely think it was because the battery didn't have enough charge. Try charging it for a little time. Have patience.
If its not getting charged I think there might be some problem with your charger, charging cable, charging port or battery.

wll the battery was charged 100% just before that happened - and i tried another battery after this happend - because i was about to install a new rom. so it checks aut that when i try to hboot that its vibrates 7 times than flashes green led (when vol down + power) when i start normaly or when i try to vol up + power its vibrates 3 times
and flashes a orange led ( normaly it would be red but i was on blackice mod)
i have varanty left on that thing and it was rooted s-off when i send it in are they able to see this?
and could they deny varannty?
it was only slightly oc´ed to 1.3 instead of 1 ghz thera was chainfire installed too
Windows 7 trys to recognice the device when i plug it in per usb but cant find the right driver.
thanks for the ideas

That's strange. When that happened to me it was fine when I charged up the battery.
Unfortunately, considering the fact that you can't even get into bootloader and that windows cant recognize your device I'd say you are pretty much bricked.
Do you get the splashscreen atleast? the one with the white HTC logo?
Are your volume keys working fine? I mean were they working fine before this happened?
Well I'm pretty sure that if they can't get to the bootloader, they have no way of knowing it was S-OFF. So they can't deny warranty in that case.
On the other hand, if the issue that caused this problem was indeed an issue that could've come only after someone S-OFF's then they might just deny it.
But I'm pretty sure you can fool them by maintaining that you don't know anything about how it happened.

Nope. Wont work. The computer has to recognize it atleast. In anycase, adb works only after the mobile boots past the splashscreen. And I think he might have already be knowing about adb since he's flashing ROM's.

thats the point ther is no splash screen at all. i think this is a great myth the comunity cant solve by now. i read this a bunch of times many post to the 3 vibrations on boot or 7 vibrations ther is suggested that the mainboard passed out but what coused this if so?
otherwise i saw post on peaople were able to fix this bug and therfore could be no mainboeard failure be possible right?
i still try to figure that out gonna make a pol thread in DHD general because i have some suspissions to this and i want to see if this checks out.

Hello friends,
I am new (and dumb too) to XDA and all the root and all these things.
I just rooted and unlocked bootloader of my Xperia S.
and flashed the Jelly bean AOSP ROM as in following thread.
[ROM]JB AOSP 4.2.1 alpha 2
I was playing in recovery mode and I don't which option I choose but I think something like "Wipe Partitions" or "Format partitions"
After that I rebooted phone but it just went dead.
I think the battery was low (~15%) when I messed up.
Now it's not responding to anything, no boot, no recovery mode, no fastboot, no flash mode,(vol + or vol - with power) :crying:
Only thing was that I put it on wall charger at 2:00 am (no LED), at morning 10::am RED LED was strong on, but still no fastboot and flash mod e while connecting to pc :crying:
Still I kept on charging whole day ( I saw some threads regarding XPERIA S UNBRICK )
now after ~8hours, connected to pc but still detection.
Also I want to mention that When LED was on while charging and the I connected to pc , IF LED went ON , then phone not detected by computer.
and after sometime the LED went off , then Device says it connected as in screen shot below, but no fastboot or flashmode.
Please help me. Sorry for bad representation.
Hi, the i'm not a phone wizz but it happen't to me a few days ago as well. Tried everything almost bought a new phone because i thought it was bricked....
Now it's alive and kickin'.
For me worked:
Mine randomly started up till the battery was empty, 2-3min and that was enough.
Download the Emma flashtool, it's from Sony itself.
Install the flashtool and start it..let it settle.
With the red light on when it starts try to get it in plug in the usb in the phone (it's already connected in the pc) while holding the volume button down, and when you're lucky the flashtool will recognize the phone and will collect the correct software/ROM/kernel. Just hit the install/repair button and that worked for me, it installed the correct software and it was alive again...
Wish you all the luck.

I did it but when connected phone with vol - , red LED was strong on , but device didn't detected by OS, nor Emma, nor with flashtool.

09/042/2013 22:42:12 - INFO - For 2011 devices line, be sure you are not in MTP mode
no response from Emma. Also no flashboot or fastboot :crying:
Have installed the fastboot drivers for your phone?
If you connect your phone with vol- or vol+ you shouldn't get a red light, it should be blue or green.
Try charge phone for a while then download a jellybean kernel (e.g. *.sin file), then adb push the kernel to the phone. Boot into recovery and refresh rom.
This will require adb and drivers both available in the flashpoint folder.

OK I will try. But the phone RED LED going on as a charging indicator only.
(Generally when phone shuts down at 0% battery and if we boot it up without charging, it turns on and turn off , after i fyou connect the charger, the instance the RED LED goes on but screen remains blank, After sometime the screen shows charging battery )
the same case is happening with me.
Should I remove battery, will it void its warranty?

So u can charge ur phone? It sounds like all u need to do is reinstall a kernel then a rom. No need to remove battery. If you connect urban phone to a usb, when off, and hold a volume key you should not get a red led. You get a red led when u don't have flashmode and/or fastboot.

Have you tried a 'hard' reset of the phone/power.
Phone may be in a loop with power still on or some other state.
Hold the power button -and- volume up button for a good 10 seconds.
You may feel the phone vibrate once then a few seconds later it vibrates three times in rapid succession.
This should indicate the phone is powered down.
If powered down, it may then be able to recharge itself and if you're lucky show a battery charging icon.
When recharged, I'd use SEUS to reload the stock firmware.
Good luck.

Hi guys,
I was working on a fix for my rom. I made it, went to CWM and flashed it. Then rebooted and evrything was absolutely fine. Then I rebooted into to wipe cache and dalvik cache and did both successfully. When I rebooted, my phone got stuck at SONY logo. I held the volume up and power button for around 5 sec but the phone did not vibrate once. It did not vibrate at all. Instead the SONY logo slowly disappeared and the phone went to a blank screen( NOT powered off ). Then it automatically powered off. Then I tried flashmode, no luck. Nothing for fastboot too. Trying to power on/soft-reset/hard-reset is of no use. The phone does nothing.
I checked the soft brick thread . It said that hard reset will lock up the phone until the battery dies. But I did not do a hard reset at all.
Any help will be appreciated.
EDIT:- Flashtool says that phone is connected with USB debugging off. Nothing happens when I connect my phone to a wall charger too.
Thanks,

SUS is for locked bootloader and anyway that also requires flashmode ( green led ). My phone is absolutely dead. Tried EMMA for unlocked bootloader, but still phone refuses to go into download mode ( green led ).

You said you tried hold VolUP+Power... Have you tried VolUP+VolDOWN+Power at the same time? Hold for like 5 sec or more...

I had a similar problem. I rebooted my phone after wiping system, and the phone just showed a black blank screen. I just held VolUP+VolDOWN and then held Power too. After, I felt a vibration and released the buttons and the phone rebooted so I could get back to recovery TWRP. There I used adb to solve the problem.
Maybe you should just wait to your phone completly discharge... And then charge again.

You must have actually pressed vol up+power only. One vibration means a soft-reset. Yes, I am waiting for the phone to get completely discharged. Following this - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=33032165&postcount=2
" You need to leave the phone on a charger to see when the battery dies. " That's what I am doing. Thanks for your help.
Has anyone tried this tool - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2173363
Also, are there any other tools which can completely rebuild the bootloader and all other partitions?
There is a Qualcomm tool for your device, u tried that?
Sent from my Xperia Sola (XDA for Android)
I just wiped my phone with TWRP using the "advanced" settings and ticked everything. Obviously not a good idea as I think I have wiped everything including the ROM from my phone. Any idea how to get it going again? It just goes to the "Sony Xperia" screen and stays there when booting. I'm not sure how to get back into TWRP (i used to get there from a utilities app that restarted the phone into recovery). I have TWRP backup on my computer before I did the stupid thing...
Thanks for any help!
I've tried to flash from Emma and and Xperia Companion but I can't enter Flashmode (hold the volume down button and connect to computer). It just automatically turns on and shows the Sony/Xperia screen and the LED is solid RED.
I let it run down over night and still unable to enter Flashmode.
I assume TWRP is still there as it was the program that wiped the phone. Any ideas how I can get into TWRP?
The computer does not recognise the phone either. It was rooted and had an unlocked bootloader before it happened.
Thanks!
Hold power down and press power button. Release power button when phone vibrates but keep holding vol down until you see twrp logo. If you don't see it after maybe 10 seconds. If nothing happens you can try pressing power button and when you see led light keep pressing or holding (try both) vol down. If that doesn't work then you can try flashing with flashtool. You can check my thread for downloads and instructions

In sim card slot there is a small red button. Hold it down with toothpick or paper clip until you feel three vibrations. That will shut off your phone.
Now you can try Flashtool or Emma.
Thanks so far ... here is an update.
After letting it run down overnight it eventually let me get it into flashmode. Xperia Companion doesn't work (unlocked) but Emma is trying to work. It has taken a few hours to download the software as the phone only stays in flashmode for about 30 seconds but it was able to eventually download the software. Now it is trying to load it but it gets to 11% and the phone goes out of flashmode (but automatically re enters it without me doing anything) and the cycle continues. Is there any way to force it to stay in flashmode?
I've tried the suggestions above to get to TWRP but nothing seems to work.
I can think of 2 reasons. Either emma is broken (never used it, can't tell) or your connection to pc gets interrupted by bad cable or broken connector. Why don't you try flashtool instead of emma?

Silly question, but did you recharge your battery after letting it run overnight?

I wiped whole storage few times as he did (Without letting it run overnight tho) and you can't charge your battery without system or recovery. If your battery drains in this situation you are SOL
yeah I think that is my problem. The phone won't charge and that's why it only stays on for 30 seconds before losing connection.
Can I charge the battery out of the phone? I know it a pain to pull out ... but I've done it before as it needs changing every 12 mths or so.
Not sure about that. I mean there has to be a way to charge it outside phone but you would need special equipment since you can't just use random charger. Since you said you charged your batteries before you could try to use one of them and hope that they have charge in them for flashing. I saw that @munjeni has a lot of experience with this phones hardware so you could try and contact him and ask if he knows about contact points on motherboard for charging
Ok. Got it going again eventually. Not sure exactly what I did that made it work but FYI these are the things that I did that seemed to help:
Charged it on my ASUS tablet charger today - seemed to do a better job than the other charger I was using (it was a Nokia). It seems to hold a very small charge but was not charging the battery properly. Hooked it up to Emma which had already managed to download the software and put the phone under my laptop (trying to warm the battery to squeeze everything our of it). 355 seconds later it had copied the software and the phone was able to turn on normally again. The phone was getting to about 60% of the software copied across before I used the ASUS charger and the heating the phone technique.
BTW I couldn't get flashtool to work. It recognised the phone but stopped saying USB debugging was off.
Thanks for everyones help!!
