Hey guys, I'm using Codename Android 3.6.5. I got GPS to work using the Gingerbread method, but it seems to only work for a while as GPS has stopped working for me twice now. I was thinking of doing the GB method again, and have already made a backup of my current stuff. Now idk if I can erase everything, install a GB ROM, get a GPS lock, and then restore my backup..because, I was gonna do that but decided to see if it was safe from you guys and to get other methods besides this.

Flash the GPS fix by Exit_Only. Fixed it for me.
Can you post a link if possible?

Try this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=884255&highlight=market
You have to flash Google apps over whatever rom your running. Here's a link to cyanogenmod's site which has a list of GApps depending on what device you have. I've never tried these with any rom besides CM7 so be careful and always research what your flashing.

I know, my rom stopped dead in the middle of flashing, I can't believe I got it back, I almost sharted myself, thought for sure my phone was fuct... Scares me to even load another rom, I loaded a nightly, hell, seems to work ok, I was super desperate so I just picked a 23 nightly...

Does it work on any of your phones? It's kinda slow and then later on the loading screen, it starts blinking :|
Anyone has had problems with it?
Same problem on my device.
i wrote to them and they said that they are going to try fix it in update compatibility issues
I hope they update soon!

Uninstall it then reinstall it and if that doesn't work reinstall it again and restore data through titanium backup. Had that problem on my g2x. Works great now

I don't have S-OFF
Ouch sorry. Didn't know you didn't have s off. There is another backup u don't need root. Its called my backup. There is 2 different versions of the app. One for root and one for non root. Works fine.

I started getting this error today on every market download attempt (paid or free)... Running sleeper ROM, but I've been there for a while without seeing this... If I clear app data from Play, will it not know what apps I have? May give that a try...

Did u wipe it already it will go away eventually I can almost guarantee it

So a quick web search shows that this is not a phone or ROM-specific issue. interesting... I've seen at least one post stating that clearing the app data for Googleservicesframework might fix it..

So....I just restored from tbu... And I seem ok for now. Wish I had a clue about what was going on here...

play market
i am getting the same error....i tried wiping cache thru titanium backup....it worked for the first three downloads (from market). then it started doing it again. i noticed it after i manually updated my prl from 60685 to 60686. it wasnt doing it before.......running AOKP epic mtd build 29......EL30........NYAN COLONED
Its the market. Give it some time to clear up.

Just gotta wait. Happened to me temporarily too.

Not to be disagreeable...when it happened to me, waiting was getting old...it went 2 days before I finally fixed it myself with a tbu restore...

This happened when I was trying to download shadowgun when it was on sale for .99$ -.- I missed the sale lol

The way i fixed mine was by doing a clean install, and not allowing CM9 to restore. The ran TB to install missing apps with data. Haven't had the problem since
Sent from my SPH-D700 using XDA
This usually happens when u update to a new CM9 version and do not flash the new gapps update.

This is happening to me right now, I haven't flashed much lately but I have been doing a lot of nandroiding back and forth.

Same problem
It's gotten really bad on my Galaxy Tab P7500. To get around it, I go to settings>applications and uninstall updates to Google play. Then I can go in and download one app before I get the error again. Real pain in the butt.
Oops, wrong forum.
Awesome. Clearing googleservicesframework fixed mine.

answer ... thanks to synisterwolf
Thanks to synisterwolf here on xda... by going to menu/settings/applications and make sure you are under the "all" tab, go to Google framework services and Google play and clear out the data. Stop if necessary then reboot
Hey I just bought a T-mobile Samsung Galaxy S2 and the camera Fails to Load. Any input on this?
Sent from my SGH-T989 using xda app-developers app
You could wipe data cache factory or Default camera options.
I tried wiping the app data. Let me try a factory reset. If that doesn't work then what?
Sent from my SGH-T989 using xda app-developers app
Change of Rom.
So root it, install cwm, make a nandroid backup, and flash a new rom? Where's a good guide on how to root the ics updated s2?

From the way you worded this I'm assuming you didnt put any custom roms but just got the phone and set it up. Try doing a factory reset and/or if it doesnt work, would you be willing to try a custom rom and see if the camera works on it? If it doesnt work on a rom either then somethings wrong with the phone and I would suggest getting a replacement.
NOTE: Wait for a few other replies because someone else may have had a similiar problem and this is just a extreme.
Btw, make sure you keep track of your 20 day warranty for a full new replacement.
Also considering there is something Bad with the software try flashing any other rom i recommend you a soft one.
Talked to Samsung Support and they are going to replace it for free. Also offered to pay the shipping both ways! Thanks guys.
Happened to me all I did to fix it was a simple restart lol seriously

I'm running Beanstalk ROM, latest build, I believe it's 4.4.4.050 with BMS kernel, and lost data connection after clean install of this Rom on T-Mobile SG3 (dtle). I've searched and performed everything I could find concerning restoring data connection, but none of them seems to work. Anyone else having this particular issue?

Try replacing your apns-conf.xml with this one. Don't know if it'll work on that rom, but I don't see why it wouldn't. Rename old one in case you need to revert.

Pretty sure I saw someone else with the same issue on the same rom. Can't remember if it was in tmobiles or att forums though. But it may be a rom issue so I'd watch the thread and maybe someone will find a solution.

I believe Beanstalk uses Cyanogenmod code, and their latest build had a broken radio.. No data, no phone signal..
I am using Carbon at the moment at their 9-07 build had a broken radio, no data no phone..
Try reverting to an older version, that should clear your problem
Yeah I reverted to an older version and got data connection back... Thanks... It was boggling the heck out of me... Lol
