[Q] Custom kernels for the i747

I was going to install the Siyah kernel but it is only for the international version so I wanted to know what are some good ROMs for my Galaxy S3. BTW I already have CM10 installed
All the ones in Development and Original Development. They are all the best.
For the thousandth time, the best is what works for you since no one uses their phone exactly like you there is no way of knowing what is best for you. Only you know that and can figure that out by reading the OP of each ROM.

Sprint Perseus Kernel

Hi all,
Since we have a pure stock rom now, if anyone has the stock kernel extracted; would it be possible to get the stock kernel to AndreiLux so he can modify his Perseus Kernel for the sprint Galaxy Note 2? I'm not sure if things are happing behind the scenes or not? I remember browsing his thread and him saying that he would be willing to port over the kernel if he had a copy of the stock kernel for the Sprint version.
By the way, the custom rom development for the Sprint Galaxy Note II has been stellar so far! I really appreciate all of the devs and contributors here who are helping to make this phone the best it can be! I couldn't find a thread like this so I thought I'd make one.

Maybe!
You should add Tiny to your list. I think it's the only 4.1 kernel still in actively development.

I am new to Samsung Galaxy Nexus (it's my fiancè's phone, though since rooting it a few weeks back we've experienced alot of random reboots, apps not working, random dropped calls, etc etc the list is endless.
I am determined to flash a better kernel+ROM combo away from the stock that it was rooted with (placed on the phone when rooted).
I never did this initially as the phone has 12Gb storage and only 500MB free!! to many photos & video
Do I need to backup the phone (as I would on a S2 [it's what I use and I'm offay with flashing etc etc on that specific device] though not on a Nexus). I guess it'd be best practice.
When looking at a kernel 'franco' came to light as a stable kernel, though what is the difference between 384GPU and 512GPU versions? Can I assume that 'r300' version is or was the last update? as it seems little is supported these days for this Nexus.
I understand I can't ask for recommendations or what's the best ROM, though a guide in the right direction on anything stable preferably current (it's not imporatant as my fiancè just wants the phone to work as it should and won't be changing anything after I mod the phone).
Any advice/info is greatly appreciated.

[Q] Kernel for Note 2

Hi Guys. I have few questions about some new kernel for my Note 2. Mainly I'm talking about the quality of sound from the speaker after installing a new custom rom. On the original ROM from Samsung all sounds are clean and at the right level (i mean ringtones etc.) After installing custom rom ringtones are a little quieter and the sound is not so good. At first I thought that it is the fault of the rom, but same is in every other rom like CM , OMNIROM and now im on the C-ROM. Can someon can help me ? If I change the kernel it can be better?
And last question which kernel can be best for C-ROM and my Note 2 ?
Cheers!

[Q] porting [KERNEL] | Wild Kernel V003 Hercules to skyrocket

wanted to know if it is possible to make the wild kernel worked in a sgh-i727 and that would have to change this.

Alpine Rom + wild kernel
Hi.
i installed the new alpine rom 4.4.4 stable 03 and it works beautifully. Then i tried to flash the new wild kernel v009 and it just wont install. Am i missing something about compatibility? Is anyone else having the same issue? Ive searched online for quite a while and couldnt find any threads or posts that address an issue like this. I thought maybe i might have to use a kernel wipe script first, but i couldnt find any for our t989 so im guessing its not needed. Any help would be appreciated!
BTW after rooting my phone back when i first bought it 3 or so years ago ive used XDA so much and have learned so much from it, but this is my first post! Thanks in advance
