I have looked through the Franco Verizon gnex thread for hours and can't find anyone who is using stock 4.1.2 with that kernel. Is anyone using this build or heard anything about it? Thanks in advance!
r300 was the last franco kernel for 4.1.2 you can use that with stock...

Does anyone know of a kernel that works with the stock rom?
Hello, can I use the previous stock kernel on the new maXimus 2.2 rom because the new stock kernel, faux, and franco kernels are not giving as good battery life also the faux rom has brought up a screen flicker which never previously showed. Would it be ok to install the older kernel on the new build?
Thanks
I never paid attention to what kernel I had before I flashed Franco's kernel but I'm thinking about uninstalling it since it's been giving me a lot of bugs and I'm thinking about flashing Faux but I'm not sure if uninstalling the Franco Kernel Updater removes Franco Kernel. If it does, how do I flash Faux kernel?
I think faux kernel is the default kernel with Aokp build 3. You can reflash the rom or find the faux kernel thread, download kernel and flash.
faux kernel
Here is a link to his kernels, myself I always run the latest,no problems yet.
Galaxy Nexus/Toro for JB is at bottom

What rom do you have? Franco kernel is great with AOKP based roms. Give it a chance! (Also no bugs here caused from kernel)

Hi, I am using Franco kernel milestone 6 on Galaxy Nexus. Recently, I keep getting a OTA notification that I can upgrade to 4.2. Is it safe to perform the OTA update with this kernel? Or should I upgrade the kernel first? Thanks.
Hi,
When I flashed CM10.1 M3 my battery was good, now I have tried another kernel but it's not getting better (I think).
Could anybody give me a download link to the stock CM 10.1 M3 kernel? I don't know if they have their own kernel of they use the stock 4.2.2 kernel.
Thanks in advance,
Marc

Simply flash your ROM+GAPPS in recovery and you will return to the default kernel of your ROM.
