Does anyone have a dump of the Epic wallpapers? There's a couple of ones I'd like to use on my Evo, particularly the space shuttle launch one. Thanks.
Here is a zip with all wallpapers from the samsung epic!
EDIT: Just as a reference, usually the wallpapers are found inside the launcher, all I did was download a custom rom, extract the zip, then change the file extention of "launcher.apk" (found in /system/app) to launcher.zip. Then I unzipped the launcher and looked in the folders till i found the wallpapers. They were in the /res/drawable-hdpi folder.
Enjoy!
been trying to figure this out as well, thanks urushiol!
Hello.
It is possible to change settings.apk background to white? Like in galaxy tab or Droid X 3.0 ROM?
I lookd on all XMLs on framework and settings and nothing found (i think....)
This could be it.
Location: \system\app\
File: settings.apk
Image: res\drawable\setting_bg.png
I have not tried to change mine yet.
Hi,
Is it possible if somebody can guide me on how to port themes.
I tried using the Theme porter and placed the i9100 theme(SystemUI,framework etc) to new folder and in the old folder i placed the i9100g (similar files) and ran the script. With this i do have the system files but i dnt know how to get the META-inf folder for a successful flash.
Is this the correct way to port? (there was a guide which had mentioned about decompiling the framework apk but what exactly do we do with the decompiled folder? since i dnt want to make any changes and just port the theme A-Z.
As several System dumps of the Note II software and several people requesting apps, I thought sharing all the APK's as seperate files would be usefull. With big thanks to oka1, sextape and sxtp-forum you can download both the Sprint ans AT&T (both US) Note II (L900) apk's from this link:
Sprint based Note II: http://www.mediafire.com/?nmcbac6m94r9p (lib files)
AT&T based Note II: http://www.mediafire.com/?8ey3nb7u8p54a (lib files)
To install the files, you have three options:
1) Push the files with ADB to /system/app and set the permissions to 644
2) Copy the files with a tool like ES File Explorer to /system/app and set the permissions to rw- r-- r--
3) Create a CWM flashable ZIP file
Please note that some apps are already available as installable zip, e.g. the Camera and Gallery app packed by kristofpetho and the Paperartist & Mediahub app by qureshali. Happy installing/modding/hacking!
i am iinterested in this, anyone have cwm .zip?

Hello,
I need your help!!
I have been customizing my Galaxy Tab S, which I recently updated to Lollipop, and I have successfully customized SystemUI.apk, SecSettings.apk, etc. However, when I wanted just change a value in framework-res, I got many FC's. I cannot even open Settings.
So, I decompiled framework-res and recompiled it without changing anything. The result is the same. I got many FC's and not even the power button is working. And, I need to reflash original framework-res.
As I normally use Apk Multi-tool (with Apktool 2.2.2.), I tested Advanced Apktool (4.1.0). The result is the same and the recompiled framework-res is not usable.
What am I doing wrong? Maybe there is something special about this framework-res?
Maybe it is the version of Apktool? What is the version which works for framework-res?
Which tool do you use to work with framework-res from Galaxy Tab S (Lollipop)?
By the way, I did not have any problem with Kitkat framework-res from Galaxy Tab S. Neither did I with Lollipop framework-res for Galaxy Note 3.
Can someone help?
