[APPS] Note II APK files (Sprint and AT&T) - Galaxy S III Themes and Apps

As several System dumps of the Note II software and several people requesting apps, I thought sharing all the APK's as seperate files would be usefull. With big thanks to oka1, sextape and sxtp-forum you can download both the Sprint ans AT&T (both US) Note II (L900) apk's from this link:
Sprint based Note II: http://www.mediafire.com/?nmcbac6m94r9p (lib files)
AT&T based Note II: http://www.mediafire.com/?8ey3nb7u8p54a (lib files)
To install the files, you have three options:
1) Push the files with ADB to /system/app and set the permissions to 644
2) Copy the files with a tool like ES File Explorer to /system/app and set the permissions to rw- r-- r--
3) Create a CWM flashable ZIP file
Please note that some apps are already available as installable zip, e.g. the Camera and Gallery app packed by kristofpetho and the Paperartist & Mediahub app by qureshali. Happy installing/modding/hacking!

i am iinterested in this, anyone have cwm .zip?

[MOD] STOCK MMS with Emoji support for ODEXED ROMS

First of all I'd like to thank the guys of the following threads for providing the modded apk and the instructions to create an ODEXED apk.
[MMS] Emoji/Softbank Stock MMS for JB 4.1
{TUT} How to Odex your APKs.
Instructions:
- Use root explorer to backup or rename Mms.apk and Mms.odex in /system/app/
- Paste the two files provided and set the permissions.
R W E
X----X------
X------------
X------------
- Zip file provided is not flashable thru CWM.
DISCLAIMER: I created the odexed apk to use it on my stock JRO03C Jelly Bean 4.1.1 GSM Galaxy Nexus, functionality on any other rom is not guaranteed, BACKUP the files before replacing them.
Worst case scenario: The messaging app force closes and you will have to use root explorer to restore the backed up files.
Cheers!

[S3 - ICS] Google Play Music 4.3.615.481147 and SRS effects [Stock ROM]

I just thought of sharing my personal favourite Google Play Music + SRS for ICS.
I'm running ICS 4.0.4 at the moment but I am downloading JellyBean update and will give this mod a try too...
It has Equalizer but shows SRS Panel. Great sound quality that does not restrict you to use on any A2DP capable bluetooth headsets unlike the official Samsung music player that came with the stock version PLUS SRS TrueBass and SRS WOW stays enabled even without a headset inserted!!! (see screenshots).
I got the copy of this SRS effects from someone and just modified to choose the only files really needed. I'm sorry if I can't remember the link I got it from but kudos to whoever you are as this is working great!
Hope you'll like it.
Before installation:
1. Phone must be rooted. Search Google for how to!
2. Download the zip file
3. Safety first! backup the affected files (simply renaming to .bak is good enough) in case you encounter issues:
/system/app/MusicFX.apk
/system/etc/audio_effects.conf
Installation Steps (manual installations only. Feel free to create a script flashable via CWM for this as I have not had time to do so):
1. unzip the file
2. copy the unzipped files to your SDCARD
3. Copy the files to their designated location and set permission to rw-r-r and owner/group to root:root
- app/SRSPanel.apk to /system/app/
- etc/audio_effects.conf to /system/etc/
- etc/SRSAudioFilter.csv to /system/etc/
- lib/soundfx/libsrsfx.so to /system/lib/soundfx/
- lib/soundfx/libsrstb.so to /system/lib/soundfx/
4. Install the Google_Play_Music_4.3.615.481147 file like you normally do.
5. Restart your phone
I have tried this MOD to JB and I needed to change/add a couple of things. I am running DXDLI5 (XXDLJ1) firmware on my GT-I9300 and I just want to share this.
Install manually and make sure you backup the system files that will be replaced by this mod.
Download the zip file here and unzip then copy to your SDCARD/extSdCard and do the manual installation.
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/75563869/SRS GT-I9300/S3srsaudiofx_JB.zip
What has Changed from the ICS version?
- modified "audio_effects.conf" to contain the downmix library
- added an "audio_effects.conf" file for /vendor/etc/ and included the config for "LVVE" libraries
- added the stock copy of the "LVVE" libraries from XXDLJ1 (you can skip copying this if you already have those libraries present)
Again before replacing the files, rename it to ".bak" or backup it somewhere else. I am not reliable and I don't provide warranty to this MOD.

[Q] Question - Multiview/Flashbar Files

Does anyone know which files are required for Flashbar/Multiview to work? This includes and apk's or jar files that contain or uniquely manage a part/aspect of the flashbar service.
Obviously, there are 3 flashbar/annodate and 1 multiview apk in the system/app folder and I believe there is a multiview/flash service jar files in the Lib or ETC folder (don't have a sample rom in front of me) but what other files are needed (or need to be altered) in order for the application to run? Specific Touchwiz version/file, framework file, system ui, android ui, additional lib, jar, sh files, etc.......
Please, only respond if you KNOW 100% sure. Thanks and any help would be appreciated!

note 2 stock gallery apk and samsung photo editor apk (on kitkat - 4.4.2)

note : requires root permissions.
note 2 stock gallery apk (on kitkat - 4.4.2) link (SecGallery2013.apk) : https://github.com/JustArchi/ArchiPort/blob/master/out/system/priv-app/SecGallery2013.apk
The installation is very simple: just copy the downloaded apk in / system / app and also in / system / priv-app change apk file's permissions to rw-r-r- (with any file manager has root option) and restart the phone.
