Odin flashing trouble - Samsung Galaxy W I8150

I've tried to flash a stock rom (european nordic countries, one package file) in my Galaxy W using Odin v4.43.
After starting the thing stucked on "amss.mbn download". Here is the log made :
Download Start...

And it doesn't do nothing more.
Now the phone is bricked, doesn't enter recovery mode, don't get to load recovery-clockwork, nothing at all.
Any ideas about how to recover the phone?
Thanks a lot

if your SGW can no longer boot into recovery or download mode...
then i think its over..
-salute!

Bring the phone to SSC, and tell them it's bricked since the last KIES update.

Did that before, got a whole new phone. LOL
Press The Thanks Button If I Helped

Good sugestions :good:
But the problem was very simple after all and is one that usualy almost nobody thinks: a corrupted file, in this case Ancora.ops
After downloading a good condition one, the flashing went like a breeze in less than 8 minutes and the phone now has the rom I wanted it to have.
I think it is a good staring point when things go wrong: check and double check the integrity of files envolved.
Thank you all

Glad to hear that!
We had thought you can't go into Download Mode also; if that's the case, only SSC can help.
But... all's well that ends well
If I may suggest, I recommend not using Odin, except if there is no other way.

Well, I'm sorry I didn't made clear the phone could still go in download mode.
About your suggestion not use Odin, what do you suggest as alternative and why? I'm allways interested to learn new proposals, despite my age ( 68 )

[Solved] Odin stuck at "mibib download"

Edit: Using another computer fixed it, mod please close the thread
Hello, i was going to flash another baseband today so i did the usual, started odin, gio into download mode and flashed. It got stuck in "amss download" for 20 minutes, then i gave up. Of course the phone wouldn't boot (i only get warning triangle) only downloadmode works. Now, i tried to flash a rom (giopro 1.6) in odin to get it booting. But it gets stuck in "mibib download" (also for 20 minutes, gave up and tried again, still stuck at "mibib download. Here's what it says:
Code:
Download Start...
<0> Create File...
<1> StartThread Detected : 1
<2> StartThread Detected : 0
<3> StartThread Detected : 0
<4> StartThread Detected : 0
<5> StartThread Detected : 0

<1> START!!!
<1> set download environment.
<1> big partition size!!
<1> big partition size!!
<1> big partition size!!
<1> big partition size!!
<1> mibib download..
Also, running windows 7
As i would do anything to resurrect my device, what can i do? (will try odin on a different computer later today) (god i hate odin)
Thanks!

[HELP ME!!!] Gio stop installing stock rom

Hi! I´m from Portugal so sorry if I have any mistake with my English.
I have a Galaxy Gio with lighy orange v6 2.3.6 ROM and I am pleased but wanted to see if I could get the original rom samsung again. I pulled the samfirmware.com the latest rom available with version 2.3.6. I followed a tutorial to install this rom by Odin.
I did as the tutorial but the green bar in odin downloader not grows, reaches 5 minutes, and remains small. In the part where it shows the processes that are taking place the last line says mbib download:
DownloadStart ...
<0> Create File ...
<1> StartThread Detected: 1
<2> StartThread Detected: 0
<3> StartThread Detected: 0
<4> Detected StartThread: 0
<5> StartThread Detected: 0

Frustrated with China bought I8150 Switch to Asian ROM?

Hi I would really appreciate your help.
I bought my wife a Chinese i8150 and she hates not getting timely updates or having access to all the Google Goodies...
Can I safely change to the Singapore Rom? ( I found this on SamFirmware.com )
I8150DXLM3_I8150OLBLD1_MM1
I realize some carriers in China only have 2G, while others have international 3G...
Realize need to follow directions for ODIN update.
Anything special I need to look out for? Anything I need to match on my phone to a particular firmware?
Thanks so much!
Derek
Should be no problem as long as you follow the Instruction here, but as a precaution, make a nandroid backup and backup the phone data (Contacts, etc, using Kies) Good luck.

Okay you can first try odin and reflash the correct firmware.
See here. http://broodplank.net/old/flashsamsungi9001.php
Or if everything else fails check this thread. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1330491
Good luck.
first step with flashin with odin failed as always, maybe because phone is not rooted :-/ and second method with using only linux co-op programs, it's difficult for me..maybe I just ask in special service ..but I'll pay..a lot I think

Most likely you are using a damaged firmware. I have fixed many samsungs and have encountered this issue. I have the odin file which worked for me and if that doesnt work it could be a hardware issue. If you reflow the board it could possibly flash correctly afterwords. [email protected]
I've tried at least 5 different stock roms, cyanogenmode 9, try to flash cwm 5,6...nothing works...I think I bricked because of not rooting phone before
