CM T9 dialer for rooted stock rom

I have recently migrated from Galaxy S (CM9-->CM10) to Galaxy Nexus (on stock Jellybean but rooted) . I am badly missing a couple of useful features in stock rom :-
1) T9 dialer : If I extract phone.apk from CM 10 and install it on stock jellybean, will it work ? I am currently using exDialer
2) toggles buttons on top of notification area. CM10 had excellent mechanism to define and order toggle buttons(wifi, bt, gps etc) . Stock rom does not even offer such toggle buttons. Is there way to extract these from CM 10 ? I am currently using notification toggle app.

1. I don't think that would work on a stock (odexed) rom. On custom roms, using a cm10 contacts.apk (where the dialer is) seems to be hit or miss
2. There are many apps to accomplish this. (Notification widget or Power controls to name a few.

[Q] Minco ROM - Notification Power Widget

I'm also looking for a MOD or tutorial for adding widgets to the notification area of stock Jelly Bean.

[Q] Any good mod for stock 4.1.1?

I just unlock the bootloader, rooted and install cwm... Im having a hard time trying to find good mods for stock 4.1.1 gsm.... Any suggestions? Im looking for toggles on notification shade and a better looking notification window...
Does the camera and keyboard app from the 4.2 works on 4.1.1 stock gsm?
For notification, you can use Widgetsoid. You might have to buy the donate version to get full features though.
For 4.2 Camera and Gallery:

[MOD] 4.1 JB's 3-way Lockscreen on 4.2 JB [JOP40D]-STOCK DEODEXED ONLY

By great EVILISTO here comes another mod for those who wants the old style 4.1 loackscreen instead of the new one.
View attachment 1553999
This mod won't disable lockscreen widget feature itself. just remove default camera widget only and change GlowPadView to 3 targets like 4.1 JB.
If you want to remove lockscreen widget feature, use Lockscreen Policy app instead.
Original thread is here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2041199
Link removed.
Confirmed working. Thanks!
Edit: Compared my GNex using this 4.1 MOD to my Nexus 4 using 4.2 lockscreen and camera actually loads faster with this 4.1 MOD.
i think i broke the network location, can you please test it for me? open google now and see if it pops up the weather.
Google Now does not work even though location settings is enabled. Same status on both the galaxy nexus and nexus 4.

[Q] Remove all toggles from pull-down?

I haven't run stock TouchWiz ROM in years. Is it possible in KitKat to totally remove ALL toggles from the pull-down?
I prefer using Widgetsoid for my toggles.
And am considering giving stock TW ROM a chance again.
Should be possible, Yes. If not natively by editing the toggle display in the pull down, then by rooting and editing the active toggle list in the SQLite database.
