Hi!
While trying out MIUI i very liked the clock app, which also includes a stopwatch and a timer. The GUI is very pretty
So I tried to extract the DeskClock.apk from the MIUI ROM and just replace it with the regular DeskClock.apk (AOKP) but this fails. The MIUI DeskClock.apk doesn't run on AOKP.
Is someone able to port it so it runs fine on AOKP?

I second this, I want this app so much.. and it has so many features in it too (stopwatch, timer, world clock..)
Just use miui its awesome!

too laggy in the home screens for me.
plus, the main draw of miui for me (themes) wasn't fully functioning due to the screen resolution the last time i used it.
Just dropping in and wondering if anyone ever found the DeskClock.apk file that works?

Hello everybody,
for some days I've been using ICS on my SGS.. Everything is very smooth and good, but I miss the camera functionality of the JVU-ROM.
I've tried to simply copy over the odexed camera.apk to my ICS-ROM but it is not even shown in the launcher.. So I can't start it!
Anybody else tried to use the JVU camera on ICS? Interrests?
put a "[Q]" or "?" in topic title :/

I think is impossible. cause Samsung's camera app use framework and I never seen Samsung's Camera app in CM or ICS or MIUI ROMs.
perhaps you are right, haven't found any posts due to this thematic..
does anybody know a good alternativ from the market? with the nice panorma function of samsungs camera app?

Is not impossible but it is not allowed by Samsung -due to copyrights.
That's why didn't see Samsung apps (not only the camera) in cyanogen or miui!

I think that would be no problem, because I payed for those apps as I bought my SGS and if I use this app on my SGS nobody can say something...
The camera app should not be in CyanogenMOD or MIUI but a flashable apk for those who want to use it on AOSP-ICS for SGS would be a nice thing.. I will try a little bit around with this
i really love the sense camera and messaging app and like to use em in any ICS or jellybean rom. Is it possible?

cm9 doesn't use sense libs...
its different frm what the guyz at htc are doing as per my reckoning...
and its not possible to run em on the same....
I miss those apps to dude....
but cm10 is more attractive to me...
That isn't possible, because CM doesn't have Sense libs AND CM doesn't have a Sense Framework.. Otherwise it would be possible to use Galaxy S III Launcher on WFS, but it isn't cuz there's no TW Framework...

I just uploaded the s3 touchwiz launcher with lib amd framework files.. look it up in the themes and apps section...
Just search their "touchwiz 5"...

Has anybody been able to get 4.2 camera to work? I have found several apps and flashable zips. The best one for me is Camera/Gallery built from 4.2 AOSP for ARMv6 by KonstaT - modaco.com/topic/355903-devrom2411-cyanogenmod-10-android-412/page__st__2220
In my gio this gallery is fully functional with edit and stuff, but I can't do anything with camera.
Just in case when you flash konstaT-s gallery/camera app, it replaces stock gallery and camera so do backup.. every other camera/gallery apps I tried did not replace stock gallery and camera, but konstaT one did. So I'm kinda stuck on it
So can anyone help with getting this thing work on Gio?
We dont have 4.2 yet so why talk bout this..
