So I've been trying to improve sound quality since a lot of my phone usage is spent listening to music at work. I downloaded the Equalizer app and it seems to randomly reboot my phone. I think it's tied to using bass booster but because it's so random I haven't been able to narrow it down yet.
Just curious if anyone has been using the app and if theirs is working.
what eq app? I'm using Google music and it has built in eq.

The stock music app already has an eq. When you are on the now playing view use the menu and there should be a sound effects option.

I've used viper4android and another sound mods to help with the audio. They are great for BT or with headphones. But I don't have that as an option at work and I use my phone to stream music. I need the audio to be louder. Are there any options?

Viper has the option to make stuff louder through the phone speaker! Just open Viper with no headset plugged in and it should be on the "Phone Speaker" tab

Audioboost sgs2 its $2.70 on the play store, it will give you a 19% gain on all audio out sources including the built in speaker, I have been using it with the ac!d audio mod, great sound quality and noticeably louder

are there any audio apps that automatically scan for new music on the device allowing me to listen to a particular album without including erroneous songs stored ?
everytime i download a new album, i go to the folder location, open up one song via music player hoping that when i press the "next" button it would goto the next but it seems i always have to open every individual song.
i have used music player, play, spotify, winamp and haven't come across an app that makes allowing listening to albums easy.
am i doing something wrong? trying to find an app that will give me a windows media player or itunes experience when listening to music.
thnx
Try Poweramp o music folder player!

I use bluetooth to listen to Spotify in my suv and I noticed that when trying to enable DSP bluetooth settings (like EQ) the sound does not change. However, if I change the settings in the speaker tab the sound does change. anyone else encounter this?
PS I'm running Dirty Unicorn

Well I learned that the bluetooth EQ works on Google Music but not on Spotify

There seems to be no equalizer built in the m8. Seems very odd that there's no option to adjust boomsound or after disabling it no standard sound equalizer. Any ideas anyone?

I was worried bout this before I got my M8 as my phone is my music player.
In all honesty you don't really need a equalizer with BoomSound on board. .
It does a great job of making any music sound even better.
If you still need one though I would suggust a music app called playerpro . . .
P.S I personally use the stock music app with BoomSound
