Hello all today i will be teaching you how to root a toaster
1.get rid of any leftover toast in it
2.turn the power on
3.write thease commands on a paper: if getprop isrootable=yes then setprop cm.rooted=1
4.put the paper in the place u should have put bread or whatever
5.bake it... The toaster will recodnise this is a command not a thing to be fried
6.When its done you have sucessfuly rooted the toaster if the paper isnt burned if it is burned then your toaster rejected the commands(are u sure u typed it ok? All the toasters are running the same OS so u wrote it wrong ^^)
Now u can make your toaster freeze stuff... Etc there will be a guide for thaf later

toasters are not running the same OS buddy..my toaster is using Toast ~>EX<~ OS
my auntie's toaster is Bake OS
and for another info..
u need a folder...
small or long folder doesnt matter..
get two papers...write Meta-Inf on first paper and write updater-script on it then on the2nd paper write system
boot toaster to Toast Mode ( RECOVERY )
by turning the mins to the highest point..

Hi everyone
Im looking for some sort of system boot animation. Onstead of the flashing S i wanna see all the code it goes through as its booting up.
Similar to what you see when you boot to recovery mode.
Having said all this ive heard there is one so im assuming there is one BUT ive no idea how to install it so any help there would be much appreciated

You need to use root explorer (phone must be rooted first) and copy bootanimation.zip to /system/media and on next boot animation should appear.

Bricking, yes, if you don't know what your doing.
Insurance/warranty, no, but read your terms and conditions.
All fixed/covered up with Odin and flashing a stock kernel. Your broken hardware on return isn't going to a CSI lab for investigation. Only your mouth can get you into trouble, if you volunteer to tell them any info that breaks any terms and conditions. Your mouth can also help, say it was a failed Kies update

Ok this sounds do.able. If i root it then change the boot animation then unroot it will the boot animation stay.

Im pretty sure you have to flash a custom Kernel which supports custom boot animations, like Hardcores' SpeedMod.
i havent found a reason not to root...as the options for customizing are endless! from boot animations to themed dialer and swype keyboards....custom ROMs and everything in between....
to answer you question about the boot animation..i think there is one out there...check out Doc & Stefunel's RomKitchen in the Development thread. there is a boot animation thats called BIOS...never used it but it seems like it fits what you're inquiring about....

Hello everyone. NOOB here... so i've downloaded a ROM from galaxys2root.com and i downloaded the Paradox 2 Paradise ROM. once i downloaded i backed up my ROM and set it on CWM. i hit to reboot it and it starts with the darksidex kernel loader and then it shows a google sign with mechanisms turning. and it just stays there... nothing else happens... can anyone provide assistance. thank you
Maybe you had a bad download. Download the rom again and try flashing it again and see what happenes.

i havent been able to open anything at all... i try to do a hard reset by pressing the volume up, home button and then the power button... it turns the screen off and it just vibrates once every 3-4 seconds .... and nothing shows...
When I first flashed that ROM the google logo was there for 15 minutes. Just reflash or be patient.

PROBLEM: Whenever I connect my phone to the PC the touch just doesn't work! The Touch kind of freezes well my keys work but not the touch screen. I tried to use"Auto Mount SDCard" but it works only in rare cases. I tried reinstalling everything but I failed. If you have any kind of solution please post as I need help.

Flash to stock firmware and see if the touch works when connected to pc. If it does, then a glitch might've occurred while installing the rom. You'll need to install it again.

I think its not a big deal to worry with.if thats not a rom problem.u need to check your usb port because its passing more current than the required one.galaxy y's touch becomes unresponsive if u use chargers of other phones,used connectors frm nokia chrgers etc the voltage mismatch causes it.i think its the same case here if thts not a rom prblm

ya its a usb problem...
i also hav this one....
it depends on the computer. i try it to a slower not updated PC ang i cannot use the touch but when i try it on a high speed PC, even the usb is connected i can use my Galaxy y just as normal..it depends on the PC you use

maybe you have a low RAM in your phone, did you use the 2.0port in your PC? do you have samsung driver installed?

i too got d sam prblm many times n even wit xperia mini pro tooo n i cam to a conclusion myself dat its cos of not having earthing to the pc im using.

Well my PC has no earthing problem as it has been already doe. anyways already pressed your thanks button, you could press mine in exchange.

You have to repartition the phone using a full stock tar. T3 prohect and I had this problem. He probabaly still has the file that you need to flash in odin.

i dont even know how you understood that but i think he tried to flash a sprint rom on an international variant and the file i have will not work for him.

I suggest u two things to do :
1,choose a right and stable rom for your Note.
2,run a super wipe before you flash a new rom.
3,if you are a fresh man here ,why not try miui first, the instruction is written in Chinese at list,

Well mine was just stuck, on the LG logo, I had to hold vol up and down, and power.. went into recovery, ran my backup

Yes, I had 1st hand experience ... lol bricked my phone but was able to get in to it with command prompt.. and had to use commands to unistall...then it worked ..woosh ..that wont happen again .. lol :angel:
