SDXC Question - Sprint Samsung Galaxy S III

if you format to fat32, but swap internal with external....the question is does the card stay formatted fat32 or when you move the internal which should be sdxc already(right) move out as sdxc
and how does that affect cwm backups?
i have a card, just getting the follow through before i go through with?

[Q] Help with EasyUS Partition Master?

I am trying to convert my 64gb micro SDHC card to FAT32 but i really dont wanna mess it up. when i go to format it, it asks for a cluster size, what is that??
Mine came formatted as exFAT and I decided to use it that way. It works in the phone but the recoveries will not read it.
You might try SD Formatter. It is specifically designed to format SD cards and others have reported using it to format 64GB cards.

64gb sd now back to exFat?

Can someone tell me if it is worth, now when 64gb officially is supported, to format my 64gb Card back to exFat. I formatted the Card to Fat32 to use it before on 4.1.2.
Is there any Advantage except the larger Filesize-Use?
Thanks!

Reformat a 64gb micro SD Card

Something I've been meaning to ask, simply because it's a wierd occurrence. A few days ago, I got a new 64gb Samsung micro SD card. Naturally, I had to format it into FAT32. I went to format the card using my S III (because it has helped put both my 32gb cards into FAT32). Format successful, and I moved a bunch of backup files from my other card onto it, and hooked it up to my Galaxy Nexus using my Meenova reader. The storage mounted, but it couldn't be accessed. The format of the SD card, I found out, was exFAT, not FAT32. My question is this: why when you use the device to format it does the 64gb card get put to exFAT instead of FAT32? I had to use my laptop to format it I to FAT32, just like the last time I got a 64gb card.

I've always had to use my pc, I think the phone is only set up to format it in exfat because you can transfer larger files than fat32. I may be wrong though.

64 GB NTFS Card & TWRP Issue

Hi to all members and senior developers,
I have purchased a 64 GB Micro SD Card (Kingston - Class 10). It came pre-formatted in exFat format. I formatted it in NTFS. Now the issue is that my Samsung S4 recognizes card but TWRP (latest - 3.0.2.0) does not recognize it. It shows 0 MB when i try to mount the card. Also i am unable to mount the card. I know this thread have been answered with a solution that format it in FAT32 format but i don't want to do this because i have some movies and data larger than 4GB. I don't want to format it again so i have to move all my data again to my pc then to sd card.. it is a headache. Any solution will be appreciated. I wont go for FAT32 ! Never how is exFat ... i mean the read write speed is fine on this partition table or not ? Answer soon. Thanks to all
