I just flashed Jelly's rom, and I'm loving it so far. My question though is that I lost notification sounds when flashed it. Am I doing something wrong, how can I get it back?

Hey guys. First post ever here. I am looking for a ROM for my wifes Epic 4g that will include a completely stock ICS, but with all the touch wiz stuff.
For example, I am running ICSense Deck V.4 (Android 4.0.3 with Sense 3.6) on my EVO 3D. There is no indication that it is a custom ROM because it has such a stock feel, but still very smooth, and everything works.
So I guess I would be looking for something similar to what the E4GT recently recieved OTA. Anyone have any ideas?

The OG Epic 4g with keyboard will never have a stock ICS the only thing you might be able to do is theme it. If you are looking for a updated FC09 stock ROM with all the bells and whistles look at TPR (The Peoples Rom). The only ICS we can offer you is CM9 or AOKP I don't think there are any others if there are I apologies.
RemICS is what I think about. It's a touchwiz themed ics. It looks pretty stock but not stock for this phone originally.

Hello guys so I was browsing through the threads but couldn't quite find an answer to my question so I figured I would post this. I currently have a photon 4g and my wife has a e4gt she doesn't need anything fancy as far as roms go but I did have her on an older version of blazers rom that kinda messed it self up so since ICS was out I flashed her back to rooted stock, but the ICS stock build has been complete garbage on her phone massive problems with 4g data losing connectivity, nad just an overal slugish and glitchy feel to it. I want to flash her back to an ICS rom but I wasn't sure what the most stable one out now is. I have cm9 on my photon and I can put up with the glitches but I didn't know if cm9 was more stable on the e4gt or if another rom would be better for her. Like I said something basic is fine just stable is all she needs cause she is not very tech savy. I would appreciate your guy's opinions on roms because I haven't been keeping track of the progress for the e4gt. thanks again.

I can't speak for the other ROMs but use CM9 nighlies as my daily. The only issues for me are known; No PRL/Profile update unless you flash temp EL29 ROM, occassional issue with custom rings going back to system sounds, etc. Certainly no deal breakers anyway.
You could always flash manufan721's rom..its awesome...lol..just kidding...what it sounds like shes looking for is maybe a close to stock rom with decent tweaks...any of calkulins roms would be good..not overthemed..nothing fancy, but it doesnt need to be with calks name behind it..just check development thread, flash it and update the kernel..the layout of rom wont be overwhelming and she'll be happy...then you can flash my rom for her..lol

I flashed my wifey's e4gt with calkulin's GB v3.0 rom and she loves it! Uber battery life, fast, stable, and no glitches or problems.

its not stock..and its ics..but its damn good..go with the Blue Kuban
I recently rooted my s3 and am currently running liquid smooth on it. I was wondering if there was a way to get back some of the features that came with the phone, like when i text someone if i put it up to my ear it automaticly calls them or the watch the video while you do something else one. I liked that stuff that came with it..anyway to get it back?

I may be wrong but as far as i know you cant. Those are Touchwiz features that your asking about. Liquid Smooth is not a TW ROM You would need a TW ROM.

^^ Correct. Those small features are from TouchWiz. Liquid smooth is based on AOSP, which is entirely different. There may be rooted TouchWiz ROMs that provide you with a hint of both worlds.
Galaxy S3 AOKP 4.1.2 JB.
I just bought my white Note 2 last week, using it on Straight Talk $45/Month plan = awesome
Was shocked how quick and easy rooting this was, I am not a super tech geek, but this phone was rooted in 5 minutes with the plastic still around it. No Android phone has been this easy before for me.
I have now become a flash-oholic
Anyways I started off trying like 4 different Touchwiz ROM's, and some very good ones out there, then tried one OASP ROM, that felt flaky and just rough, so back to Touchwiz ROM again, which was super nice, but I still love AOSP and CM, so I tried a different CM10.1 ROM today, and my god this is a good one.
But my point really isn't about the best CM10.1 ROM or Touchwiz ROM, both have good developers working on them, and having fun trying a bunch of them out this weekend. Being on CM10.1 I do miss the S-Pen features and S-Voice for it's driving mode. For now I am happy with CM, might go back to a TW ROM if something new comes out.

OP there is an OT thread for just such posting....please use it.
Here's the back story:
Around December, I had an S3 and flashed AOKP stock jelly bean and had it for a little over a month with no issues. Then I switched carriers and sold it to my girls sister and it worked fine no issues until a week ago. Now no matter what youre doing on the phone , every minute or so it stops and reverts to the splash screen and then back to the lockscreen.
Now the girl says she went into the rom control settings and messed with something a few times and im almost sure something she did is the problem but im not sure.
Has anyone else seen this?
Maybe she over clocked it too much?

Overclocking to much will make it reboot
