volume wake - HTC One X

hi everybody
does anyone have a mod to wake the one x with the volume key?
htc one x with jellybean to be specific?

Not yet.
We're waiting on the kernel source code to be release. That's where these tweaks happen.

Does anyone know if there are any news about this issue?

Yes there are indeedy.
Nowadays pretty much every ROM has this feature especially if you flash custom kernel.

I don't want to change the stock rom for this option. Is there a way to make it work with a stock rom? 3rd party app maybe?

Are you rooted?

CRT off-on animation on the one x?

Hey guys i hope u all are familiar with the CRT off-on animation available to android phones.I was hoping to get it for my one x.Has this already been done or if not can anybody port it for the one x .Dont u guys think its cool to have it in our phone?
Even my old galaxy s had that mod!
Right now its impossible as said on other threads.
We all want that imho
on xda for android and mistyping like a boss
i wish we get that mod too!
And hopefully soon before i sell this off for the next model from HTC lmao!
It can be done but with using old libraries, which have the animation in however this causes all manner of graphics corruptions so it's not a good trade off for having the effect. It's best just to reside this to history.

Download and install ''screen off and lock'' app for free.
You have several effects apart CRT
Tested already.. But no way to bind thew Animation to the Hardware Button on Top of device

Yep, they should be online by now but I guess they are still working on it, as far as I know there are no mirrors.
We will either have to wait or someone has to post the zip elsewhere.

The Future for CM10

Since I can't post this in the CM10 thread itself, I'll ask here.
What's going to be of the CM10 for the One V? As I see Lloir has stopped all development for the One V. I'm just curious and it's one of my concerns, don't be asking me to do it myself etc.
Thanks.
Hope for the best mate.... Someone will be there....:fingers crossed:
Yeah I wonder too...

It's because 4.2.2 doesn't really work for PrimoU yet. The devs are working on it.
There are so many features of the CM10 I'm unwilling to give up, the status bar brightness control, the sweep2on feature is definitely my favourite.

It doesn't work properly because they're still working on the kernel drivers. Therefore, it won't boot.
Really? I never thought of that, lol. Just a question, it's alright if you dont answer I understand: What ROMs use Maxwen's HELLBOY?

But Hellboy is only for GSM devices. If you have a PrimoC, go with one of Simon's kernels.
Are the differences between the X/XL/S/V quite considerable? I don't mean in terms of RAM, screen size, etc. but actual chips, models, etc.? I noticed that CM10.1 has official M-releases for the XL and S.
I wonder if they just limit the devices that are accepted into main, regardless of the quality of their branch, or if there are just a few things missing from Lloid's work that would let it get integrated into mainline.
Sadly, the One V is by far the weakest and most entry-level device of the One line.
HOV = 1ghz/1core
HOS = 1.5ghz/2core
HOX (global edition) = 1.5ghz/4core
HOX+ = 1.7ghz/4core

easiest way to get officially supported by CM is - someone from CM to own a One V

Sorry, like I said I didn't mean in terms of processor, etc. Unless you mean there differences between CPU architectures that make it hard to support CM10.1?

Image Sense on custom ROM's

Hello everyone. I'm running in circles about to install CM11/10.2 or be staying on stock 4.2.2. I like stock because it supports Image Sense, so I got much better quality of photos and I take them faster. But custom ROM's don't support Image Sense because of known causes. Can Image Sense be supported by custom ROM? Or maybe there're other custom ROM's which based on android higher 4.2 and support Image Sense?
Thanks

I thought so, but I've already installed nightly from 28 feb, as treebill has. It really seems to be stable. Newer versions also may have new bugs just because it's nightly
