I've had the same issue with every custom rom I've flashed. In the notification bar when I turn the phone on I get a sd card removed message or damaged sd card. The error goes away but is annoying. Any thoughts?

I know I get an error saying sd card is blank sometimes but my ad card is perfectly fine though

OK thanks
My setup
Modem: ff18
Kernel: Agat.0.2.1 (ff18 from source with smartass gov)
Rom: Blu Kuban 1.0.4.2
So just this after noon my SD card has been randomly unmounting, and I've never had this happen before. I'm wondering if anyone else has had this happen and how to fix it.
(I've been all the Rom, kernel sense release and the SD card has just started acting up an hour ago)

I'm having the same problem and I'm on stock FF18 with Agat 0.2.1's FF18 source kernel and smartass v2 governor. I really hope someone can shed some light on this.
Same here! Stock FF18 Sfhub's OC rooted.. Guess it's a FF18 thing didn't experience it in older builds.

You can use voltage control to under clock as well. For me its easier to use.

Make sure you have Agat's kernel.. Just saying.. And I use set cpu.. Gets the job done and been getting good battery plus performance.. But there are plenty of apps to get the job done

Nope I'm on Blu Kuban rom (which is great)... But if you are on the stock ics rom it wouldn't matter... As long as you're rooted with an ics rom

There aren't any kernels that are able to as of yet. People are claiming to having Agat's OC'd a little but I am not so sure that its actually possible. We just got source for the stock kernel so it wont be long until some real nice ones drop.
I'm running the blu kuban and you can over clock with his new kernel.. But it's only released so far for those who have his rom

Cool, if you do make the switch the kernel is in the rom updater.. Click labs.. And you grab it there. (RC1)

Whats the most stable JB ROM for this phone for every day use ..
Within my own test between AOSP Alpha6 (Sbrissen) and CM10 Alpha 5.3 + nightlies included (PhantomPhreak) I found AOSP JB by Sbrissen more stable. (Alpha6)
Sent from my SPH-D710 using Tapatalk 2
Yeah my favorite jb rom is SBs I've had good success with that
-TeaM VeNuM Like A Boss
I run Paranoid Rom for a few says and it was stable for me...
depends on set up most if not all have same kernel so sbrissen is the most stable but if you need a little bit more customization paranoid android is next
It's tablet mode in PA optional? I'm not a big fan of tablet UI on phones.

Max I got from my tests with AOSP was about 6+ hours and CM10 about 4+hours and some lockups on the latter then downhill not even 3.5hrs
I will try again with pegasusq+noop and UC to 900 to see is there are some difference. I was using pegasusq+sio UC to 1000
Stability on AOSP awesome battery not that awesome.
Stability and Battery on CM10 not that great.

Do you guys suffer with random reboots a lot? seems like all the JB roms ive tried start to randomly reboot after an hour or so

I flashed CM10 Alpha 5.3 yesterday, and so far have had a great experience. GPS works great (initial lock took a bit, but now just a few seconds between locks). The 4G/WiMax was working great (where I've got 4G reception. Lawrence is not great for that). Plenty responsive when switching between apps. Google Now works great, both voice search and cards. I've been running it for almost 24 hours, and no real complaints. I'd recommend checking it out. :good:

Probably similar to the other CM10 based ROMs. They use the same kernel and ROM base after all. It seems the best battery life on the JB ROMs is with Sbrissen's pure Google ROM, but individual factors of each user does play a part.
