There aren't any kernels that are able to as of yet. People are claiming to having Agat's OC'd a little but I am not so sure that its actually possible. We just got source for the stock kernel so it wont be long until some real nice ones drop.
I'm running the blu kuban and you can over clock with his new kernel.. But it's only released so far for those who have his rom

Cool, if you do make the switch the kernel is in the rom updater.. Click labs.. And you grab it there. (RC1)

Post your quad scores here and remember with out a screen shot (home + power button) it didn't really happen. Dont for get to tell what Rom and kernel your running and the clock you were using. Here is my highest to date

I am actually surprised that stock kernel with Tegrak is giving higher numbers than our current overclockable kernels. It was never that way on the OG Epic unless you really got brave. 1.4 was safe Max on OG Epic and people got brave and got it to 1.6 with Tegrak and insane voltages...but not daily use stable. Just to run some benchmarks ans snap some screenies. Then there was Marcusant's UberQuadrant terminal command that gave 9000+ quadrants. Its easily tricked but a good tool to gauge differences in your personal setup

I think it has to do with the source kernel not being 100% compared to the actual kernel that comes on the phone. Was going back and forth with sammy about this and with some recent info from mkasick I'm hoping the next response I get is something along the lines of "Oooh **** our bad here is the correct defconfig"
hey I can dream can't I?
My Score
this is my best score that i have achieved so far. 5223
Here is a good one. My best so far was 5689, but this one is nice. My rom is a mutt between calks and phantoms, kernel is LoSt with my own init.d scripts.

There are none because ics for the ET4G are leaks. We don't have an official update from sprint yet and don't have source yet... sorry...
That makes sense... Thanks hopefully soon!!!

Keep in mind Tegrak currently doesn't work for any kernels that are FD. It works on FB and FC kernels fine. Apparently Samsung switched the code they are using on the FD kernels and that is why it doesn't work. They will be updating the app soon to work with them. But until then it doesn't work.

Hehe, kernal. It's like you are 10.
I just updated to ics and i was wondering if i just gave my phone root access with the stock kernal it has would set cpu would well if i just wanted to underclock and save battery?
Sent from my SPH-D710
You can use voltage control to under clock as well. For me its easier to use.

Make sure you have Agat's kernel.. Just saying.. And I use set cpu.. Gets the job done and been getting good battery plus performance.. But there are plenty of apps to get the job done

Nope I'm on Blu Kuban rom (which is great)... But if you are on the stock ics rom it wouldn't matter... As long as you're rooted with an ics rom

The new agats 0.4.2 kernel has over clocking steps. I have it now. I goes up to 1.6 ghz.
Sent from my SPH-D710 using XDA
I thought the over clocking for that didn't stick? Well unless you were using performance

That's why all the previous versions are posted there still. Overall, it's still highly debatable if it's working or not. Most say no, one or 2 folks claim it is.
I don't over clock, but I did try it and every cpu app said it wasn't, or it was dropping back. I prefer having a battery that lasts.
Agat is awesome tho, I'm sure he'll get to the bottom of the issue and give us a 4.3 soon enough.
Yeah for me using voltage control I didn't have the steps available until I mobile odined the new kernel. I tried 1.3. It worked I just don't like over clocking.

The Kuban kernel
I really want to use this kernel and try these settings: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=26755476&postcount=850 for better battery life.
However, i know that flashing this kernel will cause me to brick.
So my question is, Is there any kernel for the Epic 4g Touch that is equivalent to the SiyahKernel that will allow me to use the settings in the thread posted above??
Thanks..
Closest one I've seen with those features is the BLU KUBAN kernel but it's only for touchwiz roms. Siyah kernel I believe works for both AOSP and Touchwiz. So if your looking for that then no we don't have any.

Damn...Well what kernel would you recommend to use on akop,cm10,asop,etc roms? Governor?
If you mean jellybean kernels only the one in your rom. There are no others.
sent from my BAD A$$ Epic touch
^^ what he said, no dev is working on just AOSP kernel alone to add those nice fancy tweaks, they're rather focused on making the whole Rom stable ,then additional tweaks come later, plus we have no source for jelly bean.
