I tried to have stock internet browser work but had force close. Same with stock video player. (Both from lxj). Does anyone have a hint to have it work? I'll share it if I find a solution.

Hi everybody! Someone tried to use TouchWiz Launcher with Chameleon?
I guess the launcher has to be put in system/app with 240 dpi.
If the DPI are different to 240, the Launcher FC all the time.
Am I right?

Yes. But there is a 200 and 182 DPI launcher made by myliferocks which may interest you if you plan on using it at those dpis

I am using the roboto ICS font.
its a flipfont font.
I will attach it here.
download the attachment and install like normal apk.
Then go to settings->Display->Font Style and then select roboto font and then reboot phone and Viola! U have the ICS official Font on ur Phone.

That's a good question.
I had asked the Holo launcher's Developer Mobint about the Widgets under the Widgets tab but he said that android did not have Widgets API before 3.0 honeycomb so that's why he said that the Widgets adding is an impossible task.
If You want you can try the Phoenix launcher which has a Widgets tab but that launcher also requires root.

I don't think it should happen.
it did not happen with anyone else who used this launcher.
do one thing.
delete the launcher from /system/app and then reboot and after reboot again put the launcher in /system/app and set permission to rw-- r- r- .
after that reboot once again and then select the Holo launcher and then check if the problem has gone.

Use ApkManager Not ApkTool.
here is the tutorial for the Modding -----> Apk Manager Tutorial
Read the tutorial carefully and then you will be able to mod the Holo launcher.

FAQ
Q: I get errors installing the addon while morphing. After booting everything is there but the theme?
A: You have TWRP Recovery. It doesn't like the flasher zip, it can't morph icons into the existing ROM-specific apk-files. Since i don't want to lose compatibilty to the most JB-ROMS i don't want to change to a regular updater zip. So consider using ClockWorkMod Recovery instead. Only with CWM you won't get errors.
Q: I don't like the Addon. How can i uninstall it.
A: Flash the backup-zip which was automatically created in the 'Universal Flasher' folder. The none-System Apps have to be uninstalled regularly. Alternatively you can flash your ROM again (don't forget GAPPS)
Q:I have downloaded the Addon and the launcher update. What do I have to flash first?

Q:Does it work on my ROM?
A:It should work on most Jelly Bean ROM. Some people report errors with their ROMs. But many of those errors might be related to TWRP (see above).

You are probably on TWRP recovery. Flash the CWM recovery and then flash the addon again.
digging this on paranoid android, dont need the app or anything just works perfectly. TWRP doesn't let apps flash properly, but touchwiz + sounds still works. Keep it up guys

I had TWRP but before I flashed the addon I flashed the latest version of CWM. I think I'll wipe everything and do a fresh flash on ROM and the addon. I only need to flash the add on right? Launched and widgets only are not necessary right?

Nope don't have this issue, still running nicely on my nexus on top of PA.
1.3.3 is online.
no big changes here, just fixed some theming bugs, removed the touchwiz calculator, and added walkman music player (which is awesome!)

Something weird happened, the AT&T network did not work, and I did configure the APN correctly, it also asked me for the UNLOCK code, and I have an AT&T phone with an AT&T SIM card. The phone is already UNLOCKED though. I had to go back to The Hybrid.

this is a known issue, just wipe cache and dalvik and reboot. It will then work

What is Project AOSP ?
Moving from a Galaxy Nexus to the Galaxy Note, I immediately started missing the AOSP look aswell as most of the AOSP apps. However I still liked some of the Touchwiz features which I would lose if I moved to an AOSP ROM.
As such I decided to build a ROM which is based on the official Samsung ROM which has most of the Samsung apps replaced with AOSP ones. Apart from this, ProjectAOSP is also completely themed to look just like an AOSP rom would.
The result is a ROM which looks just like an AOSP ROM along with the fully working AOSP apps running on the Samsung framework. This allows Samsung apps and features such as SNote, Multiwindow and Smart Stay to work perfectly
in an excellent AOSP xperience, creating what for me is the best of both roms.

Just added a fix in the downloads that will Fix MMS
Just flashed this an hour ago. Awesome job. I applied a theme using the theme installer & it worked awesome. One of the main reasons I mostly flash aosp roms. Thank you again for this.

So far running good...only bugs I've found is that MMS video crashes and the alarm crashes while trying to edit a preprogramed alarm unless you click on the plus and add it that way

I'm loving this ROM. I have not been able to sync my calendar though. Do I need to do something to get this set up? I added Google to account in settings but does not show up in calendar setting and won't let me add it.

- The ROM comes installed with 2 settings apps (stock & S4 settings). If you dont like it you can hide it in app drawer settings (Hide applications) or you can delete S4Settings.apk from system app. Do NOT delete SecSettings.apk.
- To prevent double lockscreen open Galaxy S4 Lockscreen app, and go to disable system lockscreen.
- To fix black status bar in lockscreen open Galaxy S4 Lockscreen app, go to status bar, and check support status bar transparency.

I can fix that soon. For now you can pull SamsungCamera.apk from another rom an push to system app and set permissions. That should work. Anymore bugs you've found?
