adb remount
adb push ApexLauncher.apk /system/app
Or you may also move the APK file to the /system/app directory manually. Make sure you set the file permission properly. To uninstall, please remove ApexLauncher.apk from /system/app manually.
The in-drawer widgets feature should work when Apex Launcher is installed as a system app. If it doesn't, please reboot your device and try again.
Install as regular app (root not required)

Or you may also copy/download the apk file on your device and install it using Astro etc.
Note: Due to limitations of the Android framework, you won't be able to add widgets from the app drawer if Apex Launcher is installed this way.
Tips
* Pinch the screen to access screen previews
* Long press an icon to drag and drop it over another one to create a folder.
* Long press icons/folders on the desktop and choose edit from the popup menu to customize icons and labels.
* Drag, hover, and drop app icons over the delete button at the top of the screen to quickly uninstall apps.
* Long press an app in the hide apps list to quickly launch that app.
* Reboot after installing as system app (root required) to add widgets from the drawer.

Would it work on an Ace with Myth Rom basic? Myth Rom is based on an2.3.5 & 2.3.6...But it says.4.0.1 on about phone. Correct me if I'm wrong.

[Update 29/5/12][GUIDE] Make Your Ace Look Like Xperia S [Updated Launcher]

Hey guys, this is my first thread here at XDA and sorry if some people get exited seeing the title but this is just a very small guide on how to make your ace look like Xperia S (Just the Home Screen / Widgets / CM7 Theme)
I'm a huge fan of Xperia UI and i've been trying ROMs like Gingercruzt, XperiaTized but each ROM isnt perfect yet Gingercruzt was stopped and CoolCatGetHome still working on XperiaTized to make it perfect.
So with all other resources i tried something else and here are the screenshots

Buddy im not speaking about a ROM here these are just Launcer, Widgets and a apk file to give a look of xperia and in the screenshots i used Miracle V4 for stability and battery you can try these on any other CM7 ROMs

1) They should work on all CM7 ROMs
2) You need to have the Launcher and WidgetPicker for these amazing widgets to work

Updated the post with other 2 Xperia CM7 Themes.
They dint impress me but still a good Theme and i suppose the Xperia S update will be impressive because its Chris95X8 & Achep developing the theme

I tried to have stock internet browser work but had force close. Same with stock video player. (Both from lxj). Does anyone have a hint to have it work? I'll share it if I find a solution.

You have to clock on the widget.

Hi everybody! Someone tried to use TouchWiz Launcher with Chameleon?
I guess the launcher has to be put in system/app with 240 dpi.
If the DPI are different to 240, the Launcher FC all the time.
Am I right?

Yes. But there is a 200 and 182 DPI launcher made by myliferocks which may interest you if you plan on using it at those dpis

ink effect is on lockscreen as nothing to do with launcher os keyboard

Would just like to say that the launcher and weather widget work great on the AT&T I777 version of this phone as well, CM_10.1
The keyboard doesn't but that is fine with me.

Thank you for a great port. I have a question, don't know if it is a issue only on my phone or a general one.
When on the home screen of Touchwiz launcher, there is no menu button popup menu (although pressing the menu button on the app drawer pops up the drawer menu). That presents the following problem: There is no way (or I haven't found any) to access the wallpapers menu to change a wallpaper. I don't know if on the particular menu there were any other useful options, but the "change background is the one I remember, and one that is nowhere else to be found.
There is a workaround if anybody else is having the same problem (use another launcher, ex apex, change the wallpaper from the other launchers menu and then launch back Touchwiz), but this option should exist inside Touchwiz as well, no?

Press and hold the Home screen until a popup pops out with options to ad widget and change wallpaper..

Works on s3 mini but because we don't have preload you just need to place the apk in /system/app
