best rom for battery ? - AT&T, Rogers, Bell, Telus Samsung Galaxy S III

first I want to say I hate touchwiz so don't suggest me the stock rom, I know it's bery good for battery but touchwiz suck
i'm looking for the best pure android rom, i've tried cm10, battery life was horrible, after 5 min on it it drops 10%.
i've tried ParanoidKANGdroid, it was ok, not as good as on stock rom
i've tried Task & Ktoonsez , it was better than paranoidkandroid but not as good as stock rom.
so what you guys suggest me ??

You can run stock ROM's and just change the launcher if you dislike TW that much. As far as battery life is concerned, I have always had better battery life with stock (non ported)ROM's over the CM/AOKP Rom's. BUT the Collective's AOCP gave me GREAT results

CM10 with ktoonsez kernel

[Q] The Recommended ROM

What is the recommended ROM for SGY?
Thanks
stock one?
This is like, the 5th thread this week about ROM preferences. Anyway, I'd recommend Repencis v3. Its pretty awesome.
That depends on you, whether you wanna stable or beautiful or fast.
Every custom rom has it's pros & cons, & also unique features.
So do try yourself, opinions differs from head to head
In my opinion hybrid 4.0
Still then I like stock for it's stability
custom rom-hybrid v4
stock-any latest one( i use ddlc1)

customized stock is a stock rom-->tweaked-->optimized-->bloatware removed-->modified to accomply your personal references. its always my favorite one.
Repencis v3.0..:''(
Nice Rom ...
What I think is stock rom does not give memory options obviously. I'm running out of memory in stock. Good or the best option is to go with custom rom like creed or repencis which supports partitioning of sdcard IMHO.

If you're looking for a great AOSP and up-to-date features you should try KXP and Fusion Kernel.
KXP here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1859518
Fusion here (wifi modules are inside dthe zip file): http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1926299

It is also a good kernel but will it work on this Rom.. KTG anzu kernel dev says that it is for stock ics..!! Can I use this?

ktg works for ICS stock and other roms that are based on stock.
maybe he confused with the AOKP rom based on CM10.
and what aokp rom based on ics 4.0.4 you will install? I do not know.
I mean this Rom :- http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1609516

ok friend?
I looked at the rom you mentioned and as I said I really did not know. It is based on CM9, CM9 soon only a kernel will work. The kernel KTG I said before will not work in this rom. The zip of the rom already comes with a kernel, but I suppose you want a better kernel but, as you can check, developers are focused on developing for CM10 and stock, then there is not much choice. I even use the rom AOKP but based on CM10 with the FUSION kernel and works very well, I have no complaints. Give it a try. Good luck

i would say, just flash the stock rooted sammy jb from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1739426 then follow the rest of the instructions of installing a custom recovery and then installing your custom stuff.

I dont think you can flash leankernel to the stock JB.
I think the leankernel is for aosp roms like aokp and cm.
If you look at tasks kernels, he has a variation for stock roms and for aosp roms.
I'd be concerned that you end up with a soft brink if you tried to use leankernel on the stock JB... but if you try and it works let us know!
I end up using CM10 whit the lean kernel like I have before tk for inputs

Ktoonsez KT747 will work on TW ICS. I'm using it on AOKP 4.2.1 and it is stellar. You can find it in the original android development section.
what's the different between TW and ICS because there is 2 kernels over there one for TW and one for ICS?
THANKS
TW is if your on stock and still use touchwiz. ICS is if you're rooted and on an AOSP based ROM such as CM or AOKP.
And if i'm stock ics rooted?

Then use the TW version. If you are to flash a new ROM, you'll need to re flash the kernel. Additionally, if you flash an AOSP ROM, be sure to flash the AOSP variant.

I would start with whatever kernel is included in the ROM.
Personally, I never see much of a difference flashing kernels....so I usually stick with the one the rom supplies. Just my preference.

I think I should be the one to answer this. The kernel I baked into SpeedBean is the final ASDK 4.1.2. I forgot to add the WiFi modules so WiFi is borked on the build. In my opinion, ASDK and Cerux are both good kernels to use with SpeedBean. You have to decide on one or the other because like I said, WiFi doesn't work on SpeedBean if you don't flash another kernel.
