Hi,
I can't make screens anymore by pushing the power button and the volume down rocker. I think this doesn't work anymore since 4.2(.1).
Is there a way to fix or debug this?
I'm using an GN from the UK with the stock rom.
Thanks
Which ROM ?

It's not an JB bug, I can take screenshot with Xylon 010 (4.2.1) but it happens to me on 4.2
Maybe your hardkeys are broken. Try with a custom ROM.

It is working fine on my own 4.2.1 ROM. Try pressing the volume down button "slightly" not too hard with the power button. This is how it works with me

Did you upgrade from 4.0.4 stock? And by stock, do you mean flashing the Google factory images for your device?

I just saw a thread where a guy had FCs for camera/gallery after flashing a custom ROM. By the looks of his logcat, the drivers for the camera got messed up somehow so Android can't start it. Could that be your issue as well?

Ok, I went through all 30-something pages in the other XDA thread posted in the OP & I'm confused. So does the 4.2.2 Odex N4 file work with STOCK ROM 4.2.2 on Nexus 4? Just looking for the multi-reboot option.
i have a stock 4.3 android rom. Can i install it, do i get a bootloop ? Should i download the odexed or deodexed file ?

Okay, here we go, navigation bar modded to 36 DPI, for DEODEXED 4.3 JWR66V.
Always make a nandroid backup before using it.
Install via CWM, like any other mod.
Thanks to @APatte111, his tutorial helped me fix the large back button.
Thanks to [email protected] for odexed versions.
EDIT: Fixed DPI on landscape.
Could you also make one for AOSP?

Hmm, I can, but I don't have an AOSP ROM installed, so I can't guarantee it will work. Stay tuned

I tried this on JWR66V and it has a couple bugs. When in landscape mode it foes back to the original stock navbar size. Also when using a custom wallpaper ie. From gallery or even stock wallpaper...the space that was supposed to add screen space right above the navbar is still black only on the home screens. Once using apps they use that space properly. Also the back button icon is larger than the others.
Running on Nexus 4 stock

You do understand that you're contradicting yourself, don't you? Custom. Stock. Custom. Stock.

I'm using custom rom, and he's on stock rom. So I'm not sure if the option he's looking for is at the same menu as stock. It follows on from the set of instructions I listed for him to enable that feature. If you had bothered to read it, clearly I didn't contradict myself.

He didn't want a custom ROM (I don't know why since he has a Nexus but I'm sure he'll have his reasons). And there is no such thing as the best custom ROM. It's personal prefrence..

Hey guys, I have a problem. I am on tweaked 2.4.1 ROM and
I was trying to try some of the latest cyanogen mods and PAC man
Roms. The only problem is that when I get them to install they
Don't do anything and as soon as it boots it says 4.2 aosp keyboard
Has forced closed. I also can't get menu or back button to work.
I have heard no one talk about this so it is probably something I
Am missing. Thanks in advance..
