Poop.
I can't find it...
But just to reassure you, I HAVE seen this hack implemented.
And it's a simple text edit.
I'll keep searching.

BAHA! Found it.

This could potentially be helpful as well...but I don't see mention of GNex support, so maybe go the manual route.

[Q] Will Flash on cm9 camera be available soon?

Title says it all just wondering but I almost forgot I had flash on my phone for a while LoL
The flash works. Just not the auto setting. Just turn it "on".
Sent from a CM9 powered Epic.
FAQs can be your friend
http://epiccm.blogspot.com/p/epic-cm9-faq.html
Q: Is the auto flash for camera working for anyone? If flash is turned on manually, it works. Otherwise, no flash at any scene.
A: This is a known issue which has been acknowledged in the bug tracker. Workaround: In order to get it to work you first have to turn flash ON, then set flash back to auto.
J, how is it you only have 200 thanks? You are working your tail off with these CM9 questions and keeping up with the docs and threads?
Remember people to hit that thanks button now available in the free XDA app as well, when someone helps you.
but the flashlight apps don't work ? The flash doesnt come on

Screen shuts off & flickers when sliding phone open / closed ?

I take pretty good care of my phone [haven't dropped it, no water damage, etc]
But just recently, whenever i slide my phone open, the screen will turn off, and wont turn back on / flickers.
And sometimes when I'm using the on-screen keyboard it will act normal when typing but none of the text actually transfers into the textbox.... w/ swype it just inserts a space.... Is there any fix to this or is my phone just dying ..?

Photo deletion
Hi. I have some albums on my phone I would like to delete and cannot figure it out, even with google. They are the instant upload and then another with the same instant upload circle thing in the bottom left corner. I'd really like them gone and don't want it to happen anymore. Can anyone help? Thank you.

I was having the same issue and the only thing I was able to do was change the view. I am using the stock gallery and if you touch the menu button, select "view by" and then select "content in device." I hope this helps some.
Thank you!

There's an option in the camera settings to save to external SD. (Assuming you're on stock Samsung ROM).
Hi.
What do batteries run on?
Also, if I melt some dry ice, can I liquid cool my phone without it getting wet?

No problem. Any TouchWiz based ROM should have the stock camera and it should be there. CM10/AOKP ROMs do not have this option yet.
I need some rooting info. I haven't yet done anything to my phone as of yet. I understand there is a way to root without tripping the counter and if you do a way to reset the counter. My first question is there a way to reset the modified tag or will it revert when returned to stock? And second one is will flashing stock back onto the phone for warranty purposes or whatever trip the counter? I'm sure these have both been addressed and I am still searching.
Does anyone remember how to search? Just wondering, not flaming anyone. That is just my stupid question.

Flashing back to stock will not trip the meter. An app on the market, Triangle away will reset your meter (use it right before flashing stock, while the phone is still rooted). There is a no trip method to root, using Odin, in the development sub forum stickies.

Thanks for the info. I was familiar with Triangle away but just wanted to double check on the restore.
I think I'm about ready to take the plunge on rooting this new phone.

Theres a little pink bunny beating on a big bass drum. The faster he beats the more electricity your battery puts out. When he gets tired you plug your phone up so he can rest. You know he's well rested when you see 100%. Then he does it all over again. Amazing. Someone else will have to answer your dry ice question. dry ice floats

How to add a navbar?

Hi guys.
Im a real big stock android fan, and so i also really like it to have softkeys.
Now, i will be upgrading to the Lineage OS for our device when it comes out of the alpha, but i would really like to have a navbar with that.
Can anyone make another thread to show us how to do it? You can just reply to this message too.
But just make kind of a tutorial, do i have to root, or not?
Just tell me how to do it please.
Thanks guys!
Mike

If you want to get a real navbar you will need root. There are some apps that allow the navbar with just a click like this one https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.fatedevgroup.softkeyenabler or you could do it the hard way by editing the build.prop but there's a higher chance of messing something up.
Just go to /system/build.prop file and add "qemu.hw.mainkeys=1" without the quotes.. Every phone has a built in Nav bars

Hi, I have been using this for a while.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=tw.com.daxia.virtualsoftkeys
It's not really a nav bar, it doesn't require root.
It's overall quite good, I did not feel any lag using it.
Hope I helped

Thanks, I haven't tried this app before, but I did try a similar app. They're all right, but the only problem is they cover a part of the screen. They are not part of the system. And that's what I'm after. But thanks anyways man!
