Hey there folks! I am running wicked sensations on the anakonda theme and I also cannot get flash to work...
I tried to install the version from the link in this thread but it won't install...
Went into titanium and cleared data then uninstalled, but still nothing...
Tried a few older versions of dolphin and still nothing.
When I try to install it says there's already a copy installed with a different signature and cancels
Any suggestions would be much appreciated, have searched and searched and so far the methods I've tried are the only things I could come up with
Also, will force remove through titanium allow me to install this other version, or is the copy that came with wicked fine and I just dont know nearly as much as I thought I did?

Hey i'm just curious Wild... how difficult would it be to capture and .zip the JellyBean T-Mobile wifi calling? This would make it possible for those of us who rely on the functionality to try the other cooked JB ROMs.

I guess that's kinda what I meant. Pulling an installable out of this leak that could be installed on other JB roms. I know people have made apks and such for previous Android builds... but a working JB T-mo wifi calling didn't exist until this I3 leak. If it's not possible just tell me i'm an idiot and i'll forget about it. lol
It's not really good topic for this thread, but in theory it more then likely can be done. But lots of research needs to be done to get libs files and such to get it to work. Its not a simple apk any more since it is built into the settings and framework. There are threads on the matter search WiFi calling and you will find a couple
Back on subject. Why is this in the general section? downloaded and wanting to install just not 100% sure I want to with rumors of it being updated again by the source that said this would leak soon. Decisions decisions.

[Q] JellyBelly v6 - flashing issue / ???

Three downloads - size, bytes and MD5 match each time - using smelkusMod recovery - usual wipes prior to, then I get this:
Install from sdcard..
Finding update package...
Opening update package...
Installing update... (2 mins later)
symlink: some symlinks failed
E:Error in /sdcard/Jellybelly-v6_Ultimate-finale_supersonic.zip
(Status 7)
Installation aborted.
Am I missing something? Anyone else have same issue? Sorry, would have posted in the thread, but not enough posts for me.
EDIT: searching other threads for answers.......
He may have accidentally left something out in the updater script...the thing is that bilgerryan doesnt actually have this device so its kinda difficult
EDIT: Seems like no one else had problems booting it up....I would suggest PMing him if the problem persists, or just keep replying to this until you get enough posts

Wait, are you saying that you want to use a hotspot on JellyBelly? I would suggest using "wifi tether for root users" in the play store
But the hacked sprint hotspot feature is only ever available on stock/stock based roms, and JellyBelly is based on CyanogenMod

Sent from my PG06100 using xda premium
I'm just gonna say what I always say in response to JB/CM built rom problems: they're not meant for stable dailies. They're meant to be experimental, flashy, and only someone who really knows what they're doing can run one as a daily. Expect a small world of issues either now or eventually when using these builds.
Personal experience.
And by 'experimental', I mean 'not meant for the EVO'.

Looks like you have the same phone I have (T-Mobile S4 SGH-M919), I want to install a clean and unbranded version of the ROM, I dont know whats happening but my phone is always low of memory, so I have to install Cleaner Master (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.cleanmaster.mguard) to clean the memory every time I unlock the screen, but this is a S4 not a old Samsung phone and I dont think I have to use apps like that to keep the phone running smothly.. Before the S4 I had a Note2 and S3 and I never got problems like this and the S3 just have a 1 RAM, Any ideas?
Thanks

Ubuntu dual boot (Maguro) simple installation

After the announcement of Ubuntu dual boot I visit their page
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Touch/DualBootInstallation
(Please visit the page read it carefully to understand what I am talking about)
But I couldn’t understand how to do it under windows, so I open the dualboot.sh and took the link for Ubuntu Installer flashable zip and flash it through recovery.
http://humpolec.ubuntu.com/UPDATE-UbuntuInstaller.zip
I have Maguro with CM 11 4.4.2 installed (although not official “the one from Playfulgod”), with latest CWM recovery, and latest SuperSU installed. And of course opened boot loader…
After installing Ubuntu installer zip and booting to android you will find Ubuntu Dual Boot application, open it and hit install and that’s it. The installation may take more than 10 minutes…
After installation is complete you will have an app in Ubuntu to boot to android, and in android you have the app to boot to Ubuntu, uninstall it, or delete Ubuntu user data…
the first thing i noticed is when i set the time to GMT +3 it is changed in the setting but the clock in the indicators not updated, and of course it has the same lag in the previous Ubuntu touch builds if you know what I am talking about ( if you previously installed and try it ) so don't expect miracles with these developers builds and especially with Maguro specs..
Thanks man I'm going to try it now

If you want to uninstall it, just open the app (in Android)and select uninstall Ubuntu and it will ask you if you want to keep the user data(that's the case if you want to update Ubuntu, because right now updates can not installed directly and you need uninstall it and then install the newer version with keeping the user data) or you can delete the user data and nothing should be left in your phone and the application also should restore your recovery (CWM, TWRP) as in the installation Ubuntu will use your recovery Partition.

OK, thanks. Just want to gather some info before I give it a try. In on toro so it'll be an experiment. Where did you find that zip? I looked through the Ubuntu site and didn't see where to download it for future updates.

OK if you read the first post you will know. All the download links are in the dualboot.sh just open it as a text file.

any way to get this working on toroplus? i remember there being a build of the dev preview, but nothing past that. I would really love to give this a shot on my device.

Hmm, I'm getting no available channels under install Ubuntu and it won't let me install. I dunno if being on CM11 is a must or not as I'm on Gummy ROM. Might have to switch it up to see if that works. Didn't see that being a requirement in the wiki page.
It is mentioned that stock, AOSP, or cm is supported.

I know this won't be possible for awhile, but I wish this cmda and available for toroplus.

I installed official CM11 with supersu, and I'm still getting no available channels. I'm going to try and change my build.prop from toro to maguro to see if it changes. Don't know what consequences will come from doing that but can't hurt anything to try.
---------- Post added at 10:56 PM ---------- Previous post was at 10:52 PM ----------
Yep, changing the build.prop worked. See what happens after install.
woow, pretty awesome, thx for the info.

Not good. Install froze, went to nandroid back to a different build, nandroids aren't showing up. It ended up putting 2 more 0 folders in my sdcard directory and moved a bunch of stuff. I had to spend 2 hours moving stuff back to their correct directories. Won't be trying that again.
Sorry to hear that. But don't be upset, Ubuntu touch still far from using as a daily driver. I don't know but may be with specs like Snapdragon 800 and Adreno 350 Ubuntu touch will be more buttery. So far GNex can't handle it well...

I'm not worried, I've been thinking of locking and unlocking my boot loader and starting from scratch anyways. I just hope someone else with a toro or toroplus reads this before attempting and finding themselves in a similar situation.

Video and music app
im sorry if I come off a bit noobish but I was just wondering how to copy the normal Samsung video and music player onto my tablet after flashing, since you've removed it and I rather like them.
Thanks

Just tried to flash it with philz touch and it aborted the installation.
Also another thing is that I'm constantly ending up in a bootloop once I go into recovery mode and it's really pissing me off, any help with that would also be appreciated.:good:

I don't use philz I use twrp and no issues with it since day one. Both cwm & philz pissed me off giving random errors and not working properly.

Jimbo mate ur still missing something, the music app shows up in nova but crashes when opened while the video app doesn't show up but I can choose it as an option to play media with and it can play vids. So there probably like 1 file for each app still missing.
