Few questions to those who use widget locker app - T-Mobile, Samsung Galaxy SIII

Does it use a lot of battery? I notice one of the permissions is "prevent phone from sleeping"
Any lag?
Overall experience with it?
Looking forward to buying it, but wanted a little feed back before I purchase it
I'm completely stock on jb btw.
Thanks in advance

I use it and love it. No lag at all and yes the phone sleeps fine.

Yea, widget locker is good. Haven't had any issues. I use system panel to monitor every new app I install and it barely even uses up battery life.

Thanks for the replies, one last thing, do I need to disable my original screen lock?

I used to get that a lot, so I just disabled my original lock screen. But sometimes it would still happen, the phone would just wake up straight to the launcher. Remember that widget locker is actually a launcher itself, so what I did was clear the defaults on TW launcher, Nova Launcher (one I am using) and Widget Locker, and then set the default again for Nova after hitting home, then went in and set up widget locker again to default. That seems to have fixed it.

I have been wanting it since I had Droid Charge, and I could install TW4.5 ( which is a moved version of TW4) and it does rotate home screen, but its very buggy also breaks Motion sensing in ET4G.

Go purchase Launcher Pro Plus from the Market. Your screen will Rotate, Bounce, Flip or whatever you want it to do.
Obviously, in the future make sure to post in the appropriate sub-forum.

Yes, however it takes root and some flashing. To be able to do it from the settings/display menu option would be nice
I agree with blackdragon79x, to be able to theme would be great.

Me personally, I can go for some motions, they always seem to amaze me, I honestly still get a kick out of swiping my hand across my phone to take a screen shot lol, if not that, some more options in the power saving settings, or a default settings to keep screen off when you receive a notification, not that it bothers me because I'm rooted and I use freeza's fregs3 ROM which comes with that option, but I'm sure other would really appreciate it

Landscape Homescreen

Does anyone know of anyway to get homescreens in landscape mode. It would be cool to switch it to that for when my phone is in the car dock.

Currently using this app now and love it. If you don't want to pay for the app try this mod below. It's for the sprint note 2, but i never had a single problem and will do what you want.

But it's still actually a cool app!, not sure how it'll be on battery life..

Well, I presume using the AOSP lockscreen you won't have that issue. But I enjoy the touch wiz one. It should be fine (battery life) as long as its an amoled screen. Wouldn't recommend on an LCD/IPS screen.

I think they mean this:
From what I can tell, it appears every time you connect to a new WiFi network. If you have sleep mode enabled (which means it turns off data and WiFi after not using your phone for awhile), then you'll see this notification multiple times a day.
ah. yeah I get that too
