Do I have to install every app one after the other? I back them up then restore them but then I have to click "install" then done, over and over again. Is there a quicker way to install all my apps again?
Thanks

I think what he is referring to is the lack of hypershell threading in the free version of titanium backup, thus having to press install as each app installs. This is a limitation of the free version, you will have to live with it, or point up for the paid version

Is it safe to remove this app from the system? I'd like to remove for the reason that im not using it. Plus it takes a lot of space.
Follow up question: How to remove it? Thanks in advance.

it's not a system app, so you can uninstall it

It was installed instantly when I updated gb to 2.3.6. And also it does not show uninstall in settings>applications>manage apps>all. So i thought it was on the system.

is your phone rooted? then you can uninstall it with titanium backup or something like that.
Yeah its rooted. Cant I directly delete it from system? I mean remove .apk from system.

I have utilized the search function and found 1-2 threads on acceptable apps to remove. However, there were none that I found that were specific to the Sprint GS3. Can I still resort to the other threads or should I just wait until one developes for the Sprint variant?
Thanks in advanced!

Can we get a dev to help us out with this? I am especially interested in how to stop Chat On from re-installing
there are roms that are already debloated which you might want to check out.. Blazer rom is pretty popular. if you read through the post, there is a zip file with all the bloat removed.. you can use it as a reference.
Freeze them using titanium backup..

Yep...I was gonna say the same. And if there were no complications after freezing them, then it's backup and uninstall. Always worked for me...no problem.
Brought to ya by way of my GS3 from T-town, OK.

You can also disable them in your applications menu if you're on a stock rom. Essentially its the same as freezing in TB

Rom Toolbox LIte
I usually use Rom Toolbox Lite or Titanium to remove the apps that I do not want. Works great. I always reboot after. I highly recommend the Jellybomb Domination ROM. It is becoming a great rom and he removes all the bloated stuff that we don't want or need.
Hi all,
Just wondering if anyone can recommend a good app for app back up and restore?
I don't want titanium as I'm not rooted, does anyone know if app monster is any good?

Ultimate backup works perfectly never had a problem flashed about 100+ roms

Had problems with Carbon, drivers are installed on my laptop but phone us not recognised when it's plugged in.
Does ultimate backup allow you back up app user data, such as game saves?
Or are there any apps that will do this?

App Back up and restore
Go backup
+1 Go backup pro the best, but I think you need to be root, at least for all posibilities
Super backup works quite well

The only solution is Carbon
My backup pro. Allows you to backup to sdcard as well as to the cloud

does it back up app data without root?
I would suggest go backup pro , backs up everything including contacts , messages, launcher layout , apps and data , supports cloud backup too , and many more features . Check it out

Can't beat go backup
I think any backup app that backs up user data requires ROOT access

Do i need titanium back still even after i made a nandroid back up?
Sent from my SM-P600 using xda app-developers app
Not really, but depends on what you plan on doing
Sent from my SGH-T999 using Tapatalk
Titanium backup is to back up apps and data or settings that you like. I wouldn't recommend restoring a backup to a different ROM. For example let's say I'm on wicked right now and I made a backup with titanium backup. It wouldn't be wise to move to darthstalker and restore it. It will most likely conflict with other Roms. As long as you keep track of what ROM the backup goes to you should be fine.
