Help Identify Mystery Icon in Status Bar

Anyone know what app/function this icon is for. It's in my status bar up top next to the wifi icon.

I think iv seen that before, some NFC app, maybe 'anytag'?

It does look like nfc. Weird, it didn't show on my device with nfc switched on.

An other lawsuit for HTC ^^

I don't think this is a stock HTC icon. I've never seen it while scanning tags.

It appears only on US branded devices, as far as I know. You can see it in HTC's promotional photos etc (example)
My guess is that it has something to to with certain AT&T apps/services. Not completely answering your question but hopefully getting closer to finding it's purpose.

The NFC app is Android Beam. Funny, though, it doesn't show up specifically in running apps or processes.

It shows up when you have NFC switched on. That's beaming meant to share data with other phones etc. Find it under Wireless Networks, Share and Connect on my LG V10

Anyone got the free Navigon Australian app working?

Hi all.
Has anyone managed to get the free Samsung Australian Navigon app working?.
It just says our device isnt supported when I try.
See attached screen shot.
I know u could probably change the build prop to get it working, but I would rather not!

You're right... for some reason the navigon app isn't working on the Note II. If you have a look at the comments under the Navigon app in Samsung's app store, you'll see a lot of people have mentioned the same thing.
I am waiting for the phone to launch in Australia so I can grab the official Australian firmware and flash it. Hope it works then!

if you do manage to get it to run by flashing over to the stock australian firmware, let us know, as i'd like to do the same, but i've not been able to find a rom yet, apart from the optus one for the n7105, which i think might brick my n7100 if i tried to use it.
have you tried changing the csc code? or the product.locale in the build.prop file? if you could get the navigon app to think the handset was australian in that way, perhaps that would do the trick.

Hi,
Yes I already tried that,
I couldn't find a csc for Australia, so i couldn't try that.
And i tried changing the product locale, but it didn't work.
I think that our device hasn't been added to the supported devices list in the navigon app, so maybe if I change the device id I could make it think our device is a s3 or something.
Does anyone know which line in the build prop I should change the device id on?, as the are a few with our devices name on, but i tried changing one a while ago, and my phone wouldn't turn on, and I couldn't get in recovery, so i would rather not do that again

[Q] LMT Launcher Not Working On SGH-M919

This is my first post so try not to get mad at me. I have tried several times to get the LMT Launcher Pie Controls to work on my T-Mobile Galaxy S4. I have no idea what could be wrong and I was wondering if anyone could help?

What exactly is the issue? (ex. is the app not installing, can you not access the controls once installed and setup through the options)
What are you trying to use? (pie, gestures, isas)
Are you rooted?
Did you "start the touch service" from the options menu
Did you "set the touch service mode"?

I Also have the same problem. Please Help! I started the touch service, selected every device and still isnt working. Then im like hey, maybe its the apk file. So i transferred it to my Galaxy s2 and what do you know, works like a charm. Please help anyone! I have a Samsung Galaxy S4 SGH-M91

If you have set up all the correct settings and are rooted, I really don't have an answer. I noticed that sometimes it didn't work but I adjusted my activation area thickness and I can access it every time now.

what input do you use and thickness? and are you on a s4?

Yes im on S4. I use htc evo 3d etc. for input and 35 for thickness

i317M Aws mod issue

Hi all,
I've followed this post http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2068041 to enable aws on my i317M from bell. Everything worked perfectly, but i encounter one issue that i hope some of you can help me.
Details
After the mod i was able to use mobilicity, wind (Canadian Carrier) on my Note 2, however when i put my bell lte sim card back in, it only shows
H+ only, i went into *#197328640# > Debugged Screen> Network Control> Band Selection, I got lte back after i select "LTE ALL" Data was fine, but heres the problem, when i try to make a phone call, after i hit the dial button, it instantly disconnect the call.
Anyone else had the same issue? fixed? or is because the lte frequency that bell uses causes the conflict.

Did you check the Apn on the phone? That might be the cuz of the problem? Is the phone fully stock, rooted, custom Rom? ..
FYI:
I didn't have to do no MOD on my TMO GN2, in order to get LTE on it. I just flashed a AT&T Rom. And bam LTE working fine!! I really think it had something to do with the model#/ modem. Because this is the second TMO note with no AWS mod. That's getting LTE no problem..

That can be enabled by activating System UI Tuner. Pull down notification centre and long press on the settings button. It should be enabled.

Pixel Launcher and nothing else.

Are you on Verizon? I'm on T-mobile and can't get VoLTE or WiFi calling. Even though the phone and T-mobile both offer the service. I'm thinking T-mobile is gimping unlocked phones on purpose.
