Im on the 3 network in the uk.
Been getting really slow downloads when downloading apps from google play.
This has been like this for about a month now! :*(
Confused, as when I test my 3g speed with speedtest app im getting over 10meg speeds!
Anybody having the same problems?

no go for me in the bronx. still slow but 4g is right where it needs to be!
You must be living directly under a tower or the force is strong with you. Nothing happening at my end.
That's the speed we got in Buffalo NY(150-250kbps).
Buffalo-the second largest city in NY always gets **** last, even Rochester has 4g.
But when i was in Rochester i tried 4g and it was almost the same as 3g about 700kbps which is the speed t mobile had 4 years ago with better ping on their 3g+,lol.
Just wondering if anyone in the NYC general area is having issues connecting to mobile data? I have cell service, i can tall and call and what not, still have my IMEI and i even did the IMEI data restore method to see if that was the problem but still nothing! can anyone in NYC or Bronx, Brooklyn etc and comment if they can connect to mobile? im on T999UVALH1 modem btw, thanks

I repliex in your other thread so check there.
We actually don't have a UVALH1, that's on a different carrier I think. Previous radio was UVALG1, so I'm assuming you're on the latest already.
I'm thinking its a network issue since you haven't done anything in a few days and it was working before.
Call tmobile and ask if they're having problems on their end.

Is anyone having no data, slow data issue in the new england area. More specifically fairfield county, Connecticut?

Same issue in Baltimore, Maryland. From what tech support is saying they are apparently upgrading the towers. I don't know how much of truth there is to it but I'm hoping they are getting ready for LTE!

Ok so I thought I'd contribute a bit and start a topic regarding what people thought of AT&T's LTE network.
I got an iPhone 5 the day they came out and was getting some amazing speeds. Like 15 Mbps down and 6 Mbps up. But within a few weeks of having my phone I started noticing dramatic drops. I live on Los Angeles and in the city I now get 2-3 down and less than 1 up. So what I would do with my iPhone was turn off LTE and too my surprise the 4g network was doing leaps and bounds better. About 6-8 down but still less than 1 up.
Now I have my new galaxy note 2 and still don't have the best of LTE but 4g is still giving me the high downloads I was seeing on my iPhone 5. So for the most part I keep my LTE shut off on my phone though turning it on and off isn't as easy to do on android as it was on my iPhone. Unless anyone knows a toggle I can add some how?
Anyways just thought I'd start this little discussion to see what everyone else thought about their LTE in their area. Personally I think it's a joke how expensive AT&T is and how poor quality their bandwidth is. If it's gonna be expensive it ought to work great. But I guess that's just how things go with all carriers. Well love to read your guys' thoughts.

Sounds like your LTE network is saturated with users. It was bound to happen:thumbup:

thats what i figured but whats good is since most people dont know how to turn it off it leaves my 4g network wide open haha. even though my phone wont boot again now after trying to boot with no sim card in it, back to the forums i go.
how does one force 4g mode from lte?
Take out your sim card. Turn your phone on. Go to your dialer and dial *#2263#

Unfortunately I only get hspa+ in my area but in Allentown, PA about 45 minutes away I got these LTE speeds on rt. 78. Wish I had LTE in the Poconos
Sent from my SGH-I317 using Tapatalk 2
I get no more than 12mb down/9mb up in Margate/Coconut Creek/Boca Raton, FL area and that is at NIGHT when no one is on. During the day, the HSPA+ is faster.
I usually get 10-15 mbps in Tulsa Ok. I have seen 50+ a couple times. Unfortunately I don't get LTE anywhere I go on a daily basis. I can get it by going 2 blocks south of my house, but my daily commute takes me north away from any coverage. Still happy enough with hspa+ as I usually get 4-5 mbps which is plenty fast to do anything I really need to do on my phone.

I have same problem when I make phone my LTE drop to 4G.
It is not a problem it is normal. Tmobile does not have voice over lte so it drops even on stock
I also have a problem when it goes to 4G and I'm watching YouTube it won't go back to lte unless I stop YouTube or stop a download
