As the title says I require a Stock branded T-Mobile version ROM, it can either be Android 2.1 or 2.2.
I need this urgently, as I need to flash my phone due to problems. Please Share and not Stingy.
Many Thanks in Advance.

This is the T-Mobile UK 2.1 RUU

There isn't a 2.2 RUU available

If that is 2.1, I don't understand why it is listed as '1.21.110.4', If it is 2.1 Thank you so much but could someone explain to me how the version number works out?
Many Thanks.
I used that one and then used the OTA zip file to upgrade.(OTA_Bravo_Froyo_TMO_UK_2.12.110.2-1.21.110.4_release3uop1mw9unpc376h.zip)
Can't seem to find it online ATM but I'll upload it to Shipped Roms for you.
1.21.110.4 was just HTC's build number, 2.1 on an unbranded Desire is 1.21.405.2. The Desire was only ever available on 2.1 onwards
Only the FroYo RUUs start 2.xx.xxx.x

Please do let me know when you have, I appreciate it very much so.
If I was to use '1.21.110.4' and flash it, will I be able to update it to 2.2 OTA and will it be branded?
Sorry for vast amount of questions.
I've uploaded it but it won't appear on the site until it's been checked and verified.
If you need it now, you can download it from Shipped Roms via FTP - it's in the Bravo folder.
If you use the '1.21.110.4' RUU and update it with the '2.12.110.2' zip you can then update to 2.2 OTA.
As they're all T-Mobile files, the phone will be branded.

Could you instruct me on how to apply the update file after I had flashed the ROM to 1.21.110.4. Thanks for your help.
Once you're back running the stock 1.21.110.4 ROM, download the OTA file and rename it update.zip (not update.zip.zip) and copy it to the root of your SD card
Then turn the phone off and turn it back on holding the volume down button. On the HBOOT screen (with the 3 Androids at the bottom) use the volume down button to select 'Recovery' and press power to select.
On the next screen with the red !, hold volume up and press power, use the volume down button to highlight 'apply SD:update.zip' and press power to select
Then follow the instructions
[Edit] EddyOS beat me to it! [/EDIT]
1. Rename the downloaded zip file "update.zip" and copy it to your microSD card via USB
2. Turn off your phone
3. Hold down the "Volume Down" button as you power the phone back on
4. A screen should appear showing your phone’s system searching for various files. Scroll down to "recovery" and press the "Power" button
5. When you see the triangle with an exclamation mark symbol, press the "Power" and "Volume Up" buttons at the same time
6. From the menu that appears, select "Apply sdcard:update.zip"
7. When the screen displays "Install from sdcard complete" select "reboot system now" and wait for the phone to power back up
Thank you. I can't manage to install the ROM I am new to the Clockworkmod recovery and don't know how to flash to the ROM first before update. Yet again I ask for instructions please.
Clockworkmod recovery isn't necessary - just connect your phone to your PC in "Charge only" mode and with "usb debugging enabled" then run the RUU file on your PC.

Actually Clockworkmod is not just "not necessary". You cant patch up a manufacturer version of software via Clockwork.
You've got to run the RUU first as exe (or PB99IMG.zip), then when the RUU wipes out Clockwork, and flashes the Android recovery in its place, you've got to patch the OTA onto it, via Eddy's instructions.
To install the RUU:
Turn off phone
Turn it on again holding the back button
Connect to the PC
Run the RUU
You understand flashing the RUU will wipe the phone and reset it to an 'out of the box' state, don't you?
EDITED: Just saw your message now 'EddyOS', thank you.
Update: Recieved an Error[140] BOOTLOADER VERSION ERROR, What shall I do?
Read my last post. If it still doesn't work, try this:
1. Start the RUU and when at the first main screen move the window to the bottom of the screen (otherwise it'll stay on top of everything else)
2. Click 'Start>Run' and type
%temp%
And click 'OK'
3. Browse to the newest folder created in that folder
4. Copy the ZIP file called 'Rom' to your Desktop
5. Rename it PB99IMG (so the full file name is PB99IMG.zip but not PB99IMG.zip.zip)
6. Copy it to the root of your SD card
7. Turn off your phone and turn it on again whilst holding the volume down button
8. The phone should boot into HBOOT and read the ZIP file and ask you to start the update. Assuming it does, follow the instructions and once done you'll be back to 100% stock 2.10.405.2
9. Once back up and running get the 2.29.405.2 OTA using your Wi-Fi connection
Main version is older!
Update Fail!
Do you want to reboot your device?
Can't help you then, phone is ****ed. You'll have to flash a stock WWE ROM (e.g. 2.29.405.2) and go from there...
Unrevoked ecc... Do not work
The current HBOOT of the 2.2.1 RUU or OTA can not be rooted. Try flashing a shipped ruu of eclair (2.1) and try rooting, then flash wilddpuzzle or danne_jo's safe ruu pack.

Wildfire froyo ROOT***
"REQUIRE S-OFF can be achieved only by an XTC clip
After a fruitfull search i found that this is the only method currently available for rooting wildfire.
First of all let me say I'm not the developer of this steps..
To do the rooting you must have your Wildfire with S-OFF, HBOOT 1.02.0002 and Android 2.2.1 . You can check it by booting into HBOOT (power on your phone by holding the VOLUME DOWN + POWER button) .This method is strictly for the 2.2.1 owners. How you can turn the S-OFF is your headache, you can try the alpharev (ask the team if they can get you a 2.0 test version... ) or you can wait for Unrevoked 3.33 or you can straight off go to market and hunt for XTC clip. Either way, try it and don't attempt to anything before you get S-OFF. Actually the notorious S-ON flag is the cause rooting wildfire is such a pain in the a**.
What I have to correct is "The only way to keep S-OFF is using an XTC clip (as i did) there is no version of alpha rev available for wildfire yet and unrevoked 3.33 is also not available.."
If you are successful in keeping S-OFF kindly follow this steps........
I used to have this
and I converted it into this
or this =)
Anyways, here is how you can root HTC wildfire 2.2.1 and get htc wildfire Android 2.3
What you need ?
HTC wildfire with S-OFF , HBOOT 1.01.0002 , OS Froyo 2.2.1

I am not responsible if your phone gets bricked, by following the process you are voiding your warranty and significant damage may be caused to your device.
Its all for educational purposes only, if you are dumb enough to screw somewhere then I will be the one who will be laughing at you.
Software are unpredictable in nature, one may/may not act as predicted especially in case of rooting (personal experience). Hence my friend, tread carefully.
in short,
I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR STUPIDITY.
Step 1 - Installing the USB drivers
Download USB drivers and extract them on desktop. Turn off your wildfire and boot into HBOOT by holding the VOLUME DOWN + POWER button. Connect your phone to your PC and it will show "drivers installing" or similar there for Android device. When prompted , install the drivers by going to device manager and browsing to the folder where you extracted the drivers. Once installed, disconnect and reboot your phone normally.
Now you need to install the Android bootloader interface. Connect it to your HTC wildfire to the PC and it will ask for drivers again, now go to device manager, click on unknown device,
click on update driver -> install from specific location -> No i will choose to install -> choose Android phone and click on adb interface -> click next -> when asked to install click on continue anyway, just install them.
Once done you will see your phone recognized as "Android bootloader interface". Now disconnect your phone and go into
settings -> applications - > development - > enable USB Debugging.
Congratulations, the first step is complete.
Step 2 - Downgrading from Android 2.2.1 Froyo to Android 2.1 Eclair
Download the RUU rom which is an original stock rom. Plug your phone into the PC and set it to "Charge through USB". Double click RUU rom .exe. Follow the on screen instructions and then let it install. Your phone will reboot into stock HTC 2.1 This will be the last time you will be seeing it though.
The HBOOT version will be now 0.80.0002 (check it by powering on your phone by holding the VOLUME DOWN + POWER button) Once done disconnect your phone.
Step 3 - Gaining root using UnrEVOked , get clockworkmod and set your phone free
Download the test version of unrevoked. Let me repeat, DO NOT USE UNREVOKED 3.32 as it will lead to CID errors or to be precise this error
"validation error backup cid is missing"
This may be caused as the 3.32 doesnot support HBOOT 0.82.0002. Hence You need specific test version of Unrevoked 3.2 to do the job. Download it, save it on desktop, and run it. Now connect your phone and the rooting will start. Once donw, you will have Clockworkmod recovery installed on your phone. Reboot your phone now (using the VOLUME UP/DOWN key for navigation and clicking using TRACKBALL, the POWER button takes you back in menus). Once rebooted, you will see the superuserapp in your phone and congratulations, your phone is successfully rooted
Step 4 - Installing Cyanogenmod 7 or Android Gingerbread 2.3.3
Download the Cyanogenmod 7 with google apps and save it on desktop, connect your phone as USB diskdrive and transfer both zip files on SD card. Once done, reboot your phone into ClockworkMod Recovery (booting by holding the VOLUME DOWN + POWER button and clicking on recovery)
Once the device boots into the ClockworkMod Recovery, use the side VOLUME buttons to move around, and either the POWER button or the TRACKBALL to select.
Select the option to Wipe data/factory reset.
Then select the option to Wipe cache partition.
Select Install zip from sdcard.
Select Choose zip from sdcard.
choose update-cm-7.0.0-buzz-signed.zip & Let it install.
Once done, Select Install zip from sdcard.
Select Choose zip from sdcard, choose gapps-gb-20110307-signed.zip
Once the installation has finished, to get back to the main menu by clicking the POWER button and select the Reboot system now option.
Congrats..The HTC Wildfire should now boot into CyanogenMod.
Enjoy Android 2.3.3

doesn't work of course
without the chip its imposible
im so lost with this, so you can't root the wildfire if you have already upgraded to Froyo?
wildfire 2.2.1 root
here's how i managed to do it :
1. s-off with alpharevx beta
2. root with superoneclick 1.9.5
if you want to flash clockwork recovery (needed to flash custom roms like cyanogenmod)
3.download clockwork recovery.img for wildfire
4.copy recovery.img to root of sd card (must be named recovery.img)
5.install root toolbox from market
6.erase current recovery (root toolbox->advanced->erase recovery)
7.flash recovery.img (root toolbox->advanced->flash recovery)
8.if you want to flash cyanogenmod you can find a guide at
wiki.cyanogenmod.com/index.php?title=HTC_Wildfire:_Full_Update_Guide
Hi All
Sorry if this has been resolved before but I can't see the solution.
I have just got hold of an HTC Wildfire that's stuck on Fastboot:
BUZZ PVT SHIP S-ON
HBOOT-0.80.007
MICROP-0622
TOUCH PANEL-ATMELC03_16ac
RADIO-3.35.15.31
Aug 9 2010,22:37:43
Lets assume its never been rooted - what are my options
Currently none of the buttons work in Fastboot.
When I hold the power and volume down it enters HBOOT but as before non of the buttons or touch sensor works, tho if I plug in the usb cable it changes to HBOOT USB PLUG.
Any ideas on how I can bring it back to life?
TiA
I.
I am definitely lost here. I have no idea what you mean by "Stuck at Fastboot". Fastboot is a special mode enabled when you S-OFF the device using AlphaRev / Revolutionary, which allows special Fastboot commands, previously only allowed on engineering sample devices and developer devices. AFAIK, there is no such thing as "Fastboot" on a never rooted HTC Wildfire.
Anyway, it seems everything is in order (Because, I dont know what happens when you are trying to turn on the phone normally). But, note that when in HBOOT mode, you have to wait a while for the phone to scan through the sdcard for PC49IMG files. Once the scan is over, only then you can navigate through it. Also, navigation is achieved using the side volume buttons, and, to select an entity, use the power button. No other button, and the touch will not respond in the HBOOT Mode, and it is normal.
Now, assuming your device is not booting, try installing the Stock ROM over it again, but since installing an RUU will not be possible since the device is not booting, you will have to extract the ROM.zip from one.
- Download the Froyo WWE 2.22.405.1 RUU from here - (It is an EXE File) - http://shipped-roms.com/index.php?category=android&model=Buzz
- Extract the ROM.zip file from the RUU. Follow this method (Assuming you have a Windows PC) http://lukasz.szmit.eu/2010/04/extracting-rom-files-from-htc-android.html
- Once you have that file, rename it to PC49IMG.zip, place on your SDCard, then reboot in HBOOT mode. It will attempt to install the ROM itself. Remember again, only use the Power button to select stuff in HBOOT mode, and side volume keys to navigate.
Thanks for the reply: Sorry I failed to report that the device jumps straight to HBOOT from power on. Downloading the required files I'll do an update once the steps have been followed.
UPDATE:
Loading PC49IMG.zip
Checking PC49IMG.zip
CID incorrect!
Update FAIL!
Press <POWER> to reboot.
It's going to need a Goldcard in that case. Create one using this guide:
http://theunlockr.com/2010/03/10/how-to-create-a-goldcard/
Alternately, use this GUI App to that:
http://android.modaco.com/topic/308798-pc-application-goldcardtool/
Thanks but correct me if I am wrong but don't you need to have a working Wildfire to generate a Gold card? (debug mode on)
Got an interesting update,
As I'm getting CID error's I'm guessing its down to the phone being a branded model.
Looking at the Phone, I ruled out Orange and Virgin as they usually plaster their logo all over the the phone.
Did I few keyword searches with keywords from the Part number and other digits on the box.
It started to look like a H3G (Three) Phone.
Using the link above I downloaded:
RUU_Buzz_H3G_UK_1.16.771.2_Radio_13.45.55.24_3.35.15.31_release_131501_signed.exe (Eclair version)
Followed the steps and above and it gave me the following error:
Main Version is older!
Update Fail!
So success! (well sort off). does anyone have a H3G (Three) UK signed Froyo image (exe) RUU?
Thanks
I.
There is an OTA update.zip available for H3G UK. Look for this file on Shipped ROMs:
OTA_Buzz_Froyo_H3G_UK_2.33.771.1-1.26.771.1_release_163490jq8do89dc3y83p6w.zip
Now, I am not 100% certain on how to install this, since I personally have never tried it, but, try this procedure nevertheless.
- Download that file
- Rename to update.zip
- Then, place it on your SDCard
- Reboot in HBOOT mode
- Navigate to RECOVERY in HBOOT Mode, Press Power button. This will show you a red triangle with an exclamation mark
- Now, Press VOL UP + POWER simultaneously, this should take you to the Stock Recovery
- Here, select apply SD:update.zip. It will again automatically attempt to update the ROM.
Again thanks for your help... I'm so close
Remember none of the keys are responsive even waiting for the timeout of the loading.
Also using a different method I've think I've created a goldcard. (If it works I'll post how I did it.)
What do I do once I have a goldcard?
What file should I be looking to install?
A generic WWE one in that case, (Froyo WWE 2.22.405.1 as I linked earlier, or, Eclair 1.37.405.1, both available as EXE's)
Remember though, Goldcards are device specific. But, the defective keys are indeed a problem. In such a case, I guess the only method that remains is the one I posted in post #2
Good Luck
FECK!
So if my goldcard was working, using the extraction rom.zip process in Step 2 it would override the CID incorrect issue, am I correct?
Currently I am still getting the same error message...
Back to the drawing board...
Yes, that is about correct. Also, some sdcards do not like being made into goldcards, so, if possible, try with another. (If even after retrying, it doesn't work)
Well I'm one step closer...
Created a Goldcard and I was able to install the ROM.zip it reported that it worked, however when I powered the unit back on it went straight back for fastboot....
:/
Are you sure it's an undamaged phone? Now it seems that it's sort of damaged. (Board / button damage). The RUU flash should have solved any software issues, because, as you verified, it did flash successfully.
BTW, can you tell me which RUU you flashed, and what do you get as the first few lines of HBoot? (Which initially was Buzz PVT SHIP S-ON, HBOOT 0.80.0007... etc)?
Checked all the buttons - seem to be ok, I can hear the micro switches clicking:
It has been updated:
HBOOT-1.01.0001
MICROP-0622
RADIO-3.35.20.10
Downloading SUnAaBh v1.1 will see if that will work.
You can't flash Sunaabh / Other ROM's using this method. Official one's only. The buttons may click, but, if they are not doing what they are intended to do, it's obviously damaged,
Hmm, ok can I force a clockworkmod flash?
It's going to need the S-OFF exploit by Revolutionary to push Clockworkmod Recovery, which I guess needs USB Debugging on.
http://revolutionary.io/
Well
Volume down and power button works - otherwise it would not have gone into HBOOT and Volume up button works otherwise I would not have been able to start the flash.
Def a strange one...
See if you can do a "Clear Storage" in HBoot, although it's not going to help, it's worth a shot IMO.
BTW, doesn't the phone automatically enter in HBoot when you turn on just using the Power key?
i followed following steps
**********************************************
S-OFF + root with flashing method
New mothod of rooting HTC WildFire (buzz) - credits go out to androidybloidy from xda.
Full topic over to xda: Rooting HTC Wildfire (BUZZ) 2.2.1 with HBOOT 1.01.0002 !! FULL GUIDE (28/6/2011) - xda-developers (sorry for copy/paste, but i really don't have the time and i wanted to save the thread somewhere else besides xda)
S-OFFing the Device
Downgrade to HTC Froyo WWE for AlphaRevX (HBOOT 1.01.0001)
You can't s-off HBOOT 1.01.0002 !
Therefore, downgrading the HBOOT to 1.01.0001 is must for the meantime, to get an efficient S-OFF.
So, here’s a small package to help you do this.
Extract this package somewhere you can find it, like your “Desktop” for example.
Step 1: run step1.bat from the package. This will downgrade your MISC partition to allow for the RUU downgrade.
At the end, GoldCardTool will start up, to allow you to create a goldcard which you will need before starting Step 2.
How to deal with Gold-Card Tool:
1. Switch off your phone, remove your microSD card.
2. Insert the microSD card into your card reader, connect it to your computer and format the card to FAT32 file system.
3. Insert the card into your HTC Wildfire and power it on.
4. Make sure USB Debugging is enabled on your phone in Menu > Settings > Applications > Development.
5. Connect the phone to your computer via USB and set the mode to charge only.
6. Launch Gold-Card Tool on your computer and click ‘GetCID’.
7. Copy the CID code from the text box and click the link shown below that text box to open it in your browser window.
8. In the browser window, enter all the details required and submit that form.
9. You should now get an email from PSAS in a few minutes. Open it and download the ‘GoldCard.img’ attachment.
10. Now set your phone’s USB mode to Mass Storage.
11. In Gold-Card Tool, click ‘Refresh’.
12. Select your mounted SD card from the drop-down menu saying “HTC MMC:”
13. Click ‘Load Goldcard.img’ and select the file downloaded in Step 11.
14. Click ‘Patch MMC’ and your Gold Card will be created. You may exit Gold Card Tool once done.
After you've made the goldcard, and patched it, continue with step 2.
Step 2: run step2.bat from the package. This will downgrade your ROM version to HTC WWE Froyo for Wildfire (unbranded).
If you get a Customer ID error while doing this, your goldcard is not working!
Create a new goldcard and re-run step2.
AlphaRevX
* Steps:
1st You need to get to: alpharev.nl/x/beta/ to download the tool, and to get your “beta key” which you’ll get in a pop-up window in the same download page after you click the download link for (windows version).
The “beta key” is a must; the tool won’t work without it!
You’ll be asked to provide your phone “serial no.”, typically it should be something like HTXXETDXXXXX, and you can get it from:
Settings --> about phone --> phone identity.
Now, do the following:
1. Run latest version of HTC Sync on your PC and connect phone in HTC Sync mode and sync all your files. Remove HTC Sync and not the drivers.
2. Reboot phone.
3. Settings->Applications->Development->Check “USB Debugging”.
4. Run AlphaRevX and connect phone to PC in “Charge Only mode”.
5. AlphaRevX should recognize your phone and show your Device Serial number.
7. Type out the “key” in the AlphaRevX software, keeping in mind the upper and lower case letters and press enter (you can copy / paste the key).
8. AlphaRevX should start doing its job and you’ll get S-OFF in less than 90 seconds.
9. If it takes longer, just wait for the 15 minutes mark, if nothing, then reboot phone and retry.
(Some members got S-OFF after multiple tries)
Rooting the device:
Step 1 - Installing the USB drivers
Download USB drivers (here) and extract them on desktop. Turn off your wildfire and boot into HBOOT by holding the VOLUME DOWN + POWER button. Connect your phone to your PC and it will show "drivers installing" or similar there for Android device. When prompted, install the drivers by going to device manager and browsing to the folder where you extracted the drivers. Once installed, disconnect and reboot your phone normally.
Now you need to install the “Android bootloader interface”.
Connect your HTC wildfire to the PC and it will ask for drivers again, now go to device manager, click on unknown device “other devices”.
Click on update driver -> install from specific location -> No i will choose to install -> choose Android phone and click on “adb interface” -> click next -> when asked to install click on continue anyway, just install them.
Once done you will see your phone recognized as "Android bootloader interface".
Now disconnect your phone and go into:
Settings -> applications - > development - > enable USB Debugging.
Step 2 - Downgrading from Android 2.2.1 Froyo to Android 2.1 Éclair
Download the RUU rom (here) which is an original stock rom. Plug your phone into the PC and set it to "Charge through USB". Double click RUU rom .exe
Follow the on screen instructions and then let it install. Your phone will reboot into stock HTC 2.1
This will be the last time you will be seeing it though.
A little extra here by me: if you download that RUU and notice after you've completed this step your touch doesn't work, don't panic. Just get a different RUU and flash again. I can't remember if i used RUU_Buzz_hTC_Asia_India_1.25.720.1_Radio_13.45.55. 24_3.35.15.31_release_142213_signed or RUU_Buzz_hTC_Asia_WWE_1.25.707.1_Radio_13.45.55.24 _3.35.15.31_release_142190_signed
but you can find more over at Shipped ROMs
Step 3 - Gaining root using Unrevoked, get ClockworkMod and set your phone free
Download the test version of unrevoked (here). Let me repeat, DO NOT USE UNREVOKED 3.32 as it will lead to CID errors or to be precise this error
"Validation error, backup CID is missing"
This may be caused as the 3.32 does not support the HBOOT. Hence you need specific test version of Unrevoked 3.2 to do the job. Download it, save it on desktop, and run it. Now connect your phone and the rooting will start. Once done, you will have ClockworkMod recovery installed on your phone.
Reboot your phone now (using the VOLUME UP/DOWN key for navigation and clicking using TRACKBALL, the POWER button takes you back in menus). Once rebooted, you will see the “Superuser” app in your phone and.... done.
Now you can download and flash cm-7 or whatever.

you shouldnt need usb debugging for a ruu.
Try to get an update file wich you can flash in Hboot. There are ones, but i dont now where... Take a sdcard reader and put the file on it.
firstly can you still get into recovery by your bootloader? if you can then flash this.
http://download.cyanogenmod.com/get/update-cm-7.1.0.1-buzz-signed.zip
then this http://goo-inside.me/gapps/gapps-gb-20110828-signed.zip
but remember to wipe your cache, dalvick cache and factory reset the phone. (all done in recovery) if that works you should be on cyanogenmod 7 and that will hopefully fix your issue.
hello there..same problem with me but resolved, successfull CM7 nightly..
try to flash with the
RUU_Buzz_HTC_WWE_1.37.405.1_Radio_13.53.55.24H_3.3 5.19.25_release_151892_signed.exe
find it in the web, run, and then you got your touchscreen works
Go to an S-ON and Unrooted state, from this guide I made.
Then use this guide I made to start over again without touchscreen problems. Quite a few people have had touchscreen problems using the other guide.
Hey guys,
I have a problem, my phone was LOCKED and i UNLOCKED him with some help from your and with HTCDEV.COM. Everythings good, my WFS is nou UNLOCKED, but i unlocked him to root him.
First i started with flash the recovery clockworld 5.0.2.8.
Before this , i put the root file on SD-card to enter in recovery CWM to instal it, but the problem is when i want to enter in RECOVERY mode from HBOOT, SCREEN REMAIN BLACK AND NAVIGATE KEY ARE LIGHTENING!!!.
I tried a lot of method and same things happen'!!!! Probably something missing but i don't know what because all the method's i applied, i respect 100% all the "walk"...
Android 2.3.5
Software version 2.26.401.3
HBOOT 1.09.0099
Please give me some help person who know more about thins problem!!!
flashing the recovery is not properly done i guess .
i prefer you to follow the below steps
Step 1: Flashing the Custom Recovery UI by XDA.cn
Again, make sure your device is S-OFF.
Again, make sure your memory card is formatted FAT32.
Place the PG76IMG.zip file into your phone SD card.
Disable Fast Boot from your phone settings (Settings > Power > Disable Fastboot)
Turn your phone off.
Hold down the "power" button and the "volume down" button for a few seconds till you see the HBOOT screen.
Don't press anything. The system will scan for some files and it will prompt you for an update. Move the cursor to OK (volume up) to start the flashing process.
After it finishes, press the "power" button to restart the system.
Let Android boot and delete the PG76IMG.zip file from your SD card via USB.
Congrats! Custom recovery has been installed. Process to step 2.
Step 2: Flashing the rooting script by XDA.cn
Copy the root.zip file into your phone SD card.
Turn your phone off.
Boot into recovery: Hold down the "power" button and the "volume down" button for a few seconds till you see the HBOOT screen. Let it do its thing and then select "RECOVERY".
At the recovery menu, use the volume buttons to select "install zip from sd card".
Then select "choose zip from sd card".
Then find the "root.zip" file on the list.
Select "YES".
Let the script do its thing till you see "Install from sd card completed".
Select "Go Back" on the menu till you find the "power off" option and select it.
Turn your phone back on and let Android boot
you can use the custom recovery PG76IMG.img or else clockworkmod recovery from
http://www.clockworkmod.com/rommanager
cwm recovery have more options ,so i prefer you to use that .
you can find those FILES in the source which i have specified.
