I just want the straight up DSP manager from CyanogenMod.
Acid with Nooz is better....

That's frill... Beats is frill, AwesomeBeats is frill... why the hell does nobody just do DSP Manager anymore? I want simple, super lightweight, and at this point, I'll go back to my crappy (by comparison) Optimus 3D for proper DSP if I have to.

Not confusing "frill" with "unknown"... I looked at nooz in the play store, and it's got all these extra features and IMO a horrible looking interface. It's a third party application, I want something that's built into the system, so yea.
I honestly don't think I'm going to win because I reflashed my phone with PACman v18, and the DSP manager disappeared after the first boot.

Because I love the PACman ROM... it's got AOKP controls/features, the ParanoidAndroid app independent DPI settings (which makes the Play Store much nicer when you set it to 720px and 180DPI), and then the CM solidness.
Get ahold of a dev and ask them if they'll zip DSP for you from CM.

The ROM comes with DSP, but it only works on local applications, nothing streaming and nothing third party like Winamp or Pandora. Further, I think there's another problem laid in somewhere because after the first reboot, my DSP manager icon disappears from the application drawer. So yeah, like I said, I doubt I'm going to win on this one in any way.

So yeah, DSP Manager's APK is still in my /system/app folder with the correct permissions, but it doesn't show in my applications drawer. I followed the instructions on that post and installed the acid beats zip and then noozxoide. After looking over noozxoide, I realized it was just DSP with a bunch of text added for no reason to make it look like it does more when it's really the underlying drivers doing all the work (this was the perceived "frill", all that BS text). I set about configuring as I had previously, and now I can feel the bass in my ears again with every application I use frequently. That's my thing... I have Sennheiser headphones with great bass response, just as good as my home theater system where I can feel the bass. So I like to be able to experience my music with the sense of touch as well as the sense of sound. Multi-sense stimuli help me calm down and focus, so it's nice to have my second sense back in place where it should be.
Awesome! Glad your up and running again. Yea... That interface is pretty awful though.

Thanks for the suggestion, horrid interface yes, but exactly what I needed. I just wanted to replace what I had with something that worked, and this does just that, kinda disappointed I don't get the simple DSP Manager interface, oh well, it works. Feeling the music is primarily why I go to concerts since the systems are usually in excess of 3000w and usually more bass-heavy dance-able music. Again, thanks for pointing me in the right direction, gripe or no gripe.
No worries, glad to help.

I am curious if there is a native way to launch it.

Havent played much with it yet but wanted to point out something...hopefully a small bug and not a problem.
Flashed it, wiped cache and dalvik. Didn't use the phone for another hour or so when we got in the car and neither navigation nor Pandora could be heard more than a whisper even though the volume was cranked on the car stereo and on the phone.
I just opened the Walkman app and boom the sound came back. Closed the Walkman app and the sound stayed.

Google has began the rollout of the new Play Store version 4.0.25. However, it's only available for 4.2 devices, so we will not get it automatically, but it is available for download via the link attached. I was able to install and run just fine on my LGOG 4.1 device, so we should be good for this.

The smoothness seems about the same to me, but I can see why you would say its not as smooth, there are times where it tends to lag a bit.
I do like the simplicity of it now, but I don't really see any new features, just refreshed design is about it. I like it though, simple and clean.

Not quite following you here. Do you mean only the apps that you had to pay money for?

Google has began the rollout of the new Play Store version 4.0.25. However, it's only available for 4.2 devices, so we will not get it automatically, but it is available for download via the link attached. I was able to install and run just fine on my LGOG 4.1 device, so we should be good for this.
Great design, loving it so far

Yeah, it literally just updated 1 minute before I posted. But what's funny, it hasn't updated on my GNex10 yet. But that maybe because I use AOKP and not stock on my tablet.

I'm using a blacked out version of 4.0.25. Picked it up here:

Also, this thread has tons of various themed gapps.

That was a fresh change. But, I don't like it.
1. Not as much content.
2. Not so smooth on the scrolling.
3. Will they ever bring back the option to see your purchased apps.
It seems like they made it more plain. Thanks for the apk though. It works perfect and was way easy to install.
Edit: spelling

The icons seem bigger and crisper in this version, this is just a subjective opinion but I think that this version looks more sleek and has a 'newer' feel than the old app store. I haven't experienced any noticeable increase in lag either, or if there is it's not by a fantastic margin. Installed flawlessly on Lifeless14.
i didnt like it because of the bland look but after installing the black version with purple text its awesome
Hello people!
I've been working on the ultimate audio mod. This has only been tested on marvel. It should work on marvelc and marvelct. This was made for sense roms but you can still flash on CM7. However if you flash on CM7 then HTC usic won't function properly. Neither will Beats Audio. Lets begin!

I have a ROM with beats audio which seems to be not working fine.
So can I simply flash one of these drivers on it, or do I need to remove beats and then flash these?

Just flash over it. It should be fine. But I can't be sure.
Death LINK!!!
Your HtcMusic.apk doesn't work for Sense 3.5 some buttons are missing, etc.
But thanks for the Beats icon, I've modded my HtcMusic.apk with it and it looks wonderful! With Beats lockscreen it looks like a real Beats phone
