Edit: Get the joke. Maybe I should specify. I want to send certain CONTACTS phone calls straight to voicemail.

I know most people here are feeling horrified someone would put a skin on their GN but I really really really miss having large icons on my home screen that display how many text, voicemail and email messages I have and being able to click on them and I'm in the program I need to be to actually review the messages. Or perhaps there is a program like Beautiful Widgets that can give me that feature back?
I'm not sure if it is related or not but I miss the visual voicemail on my ET4G.

OK - this sounds silly but I intalled Go with navigation - it doesn't show up in widgets or apps. I uninstalled (only an option on marketplace - can't uninstall from apps otherwise as it doesn't show.)
pretty sure the new nova prime launcher has notification on icons now. and its a real ics launcher so id go that rt.

Thanks I installed google voice it said my phone number could not be verified.
I'm thinking these apps may not work with ICS or that google voice is still by invitation.

you mail is a whole lot better in my experience. every time i tried to use google voice it messed my carrier vmail up. you mail has some cool greetings too. i set my youmail to text me when receive a new vmail that way it the app doesnt use data checking for vmails

Have you set up Google voice before installing the app? Its a service and you use the app on the phone to access it.

I am using CWM 10 with my S3 and was wondering how can I blacklist calls and texts from unwanted numbers? I know in the stock touchwiz5 you could add contacts to blacklist but I just don't see it with CWM 10...do I have to use a 3rd party app to do this now?
If you add the number as a contact you can send all calls to voicemail. I don't know of any way to block the texts though.

Hey thanks for this. I was able to setup send to voicemail. I haven't found a way to do away with text though. I'm guessing I'll have to use an app for both...

In stock SMS app (or at least for MyRom Revolution) in settings there is a checkbox for "Read Reports, does anyone know what this is? I wish it would do what it seems like and notify you when someone opened a text you sent.
Maybe the feature just doesn't work on Myrom. Anyone using stock and wanna try/ report back? Or any other rom

It works with SMS you just have to use something like handcent or gosms.

Then why would that option be in stock SMS app? I've tried it with no success with stock. Ill try 3rd party apps out of curiousity but couldn't change from stock sms

Stock on some carriers will not do it due to allot of bull sh*t. must use third party app.
I have the at&t galaxy s3 with the hyperdrive rom.
when i try to call my voice mail by either holding 1, *86, or clicking the button it calls 911 instead of my voicemail.
when i look in my call logs it shows my number as 11(***)***-**** but actual numbers with 2 extra 1s in the beginning.
has any one had this problem? or no how to fix it?

You can push another secphone.apk to /system/app and it will work. Also have you tried to go into voicemail settings and manually input your voicemail number ?

my voice mail number is listed as *86 whats should it be i was trying to change it yesterday but didnt no if it should be my number or a different one ?

Not sure on your carrier simple mobile but with at&t I used just my phone number without the 1. That ported rom might be using the Verizon SecPhone.apk and not the at&t version it needs.

Pretty sure if you open your phone dialer, hold down the menu key and you can go into your options.. In there, u can choose the number for your voicemail...simply input your number with area code and good to go!

Can any of recommend me any good app for voice mail so I any one call and left a voice message

What's wind ?
If you go into call settings what's your voicemail settings? My carrier ?
For ATT, all you have to do is press #1 on dialer and it dials voicemail number.
