[Q] HTC one V no service after flashing - HTC One V

I have a HTC one V (CDMA) from VM. Followed the post "[GUIDE] Flashing Evo Lte to Page Plus" to unlock, rooted and flashed to Page Plus. Everything went through smoothly except that when I modified the QPST, it prompt NV read only. I still be able to reprogram the phone over the air (*228). However, after programing, the phone shows "no service" and I can't call any number. Any one can help here? Thanks!

Did you load a page plus prl? Also I agree with the above, a reflash can't hurt. Retrace your steps carefully.

Thanks all above. Redone the cdma workshop steps. Now I get the phone working. But still can't modify QPST, always says NV_readonly.

The NV error always occurs for me just make sure you hit write to phone before you hit the red X and your settings should stick. I got everything working on mine except 3g. 1x data is super slow.

I usually set my msl/spc to 000000, and I think you are supposed to send your spc with "spc 000000" before modifying nv items. Use qxdm to send the spc, and I'm pretty sure (its been a little while) but qxdm should have your nv browser in it also.

that's because your aaa password didn't write correctly or your phone isn't being able to roam (it isn't but that is what it's programmed to think)

Same story, happy ending...so far
Got in the same exact situation. Not sure How I got there.
Re-flashed, and repeated the CDMA steps.
Upon reboot, the phone still had "no service", but taking it on/off airplane mode got the network connection to resume.
Used it to call *228 to update the roaming capabilities, and went back being stuck in "no service"
Repeated the CDMA steps only, and on reboot the airplane mode on/off worked again.
I did reboot the phone a couple of times to make sure it would come back connecting to the network,
and proceeded to make and receive a test call. All working ok now, including the so-called "3G"
(still at 1G speed)
I hope this helps.

I have real 3g now, service is so much better than Virgin Mobile.

Is there a good tutorial on how to do this? Did you have to use a donor phone?

I had someone from HowardForums do it via Teamviewer and yes he used a donor phone. He said no charge but I still sent him $20 with PayPal. Well worth it,I had spent roughly 2 weeks off and on following tutorials, making dmu folders, using public 10 keys I found online etc....... Anyways if you want his name send me a PM.

[Q] Help: Might have messed up my phone

I just bought an unlocked Desire Z off ebay. Everything worked fine, calls, SMS, internet. I just did a phone reset to get some of the crap that the guy left on the phone off it and now it won't connect to the net. Phone and SMS still work and it's connected to the MTS network but no internet.
I know my carrier has been having some problems with the internet lately so it could just be that the net is down or did I mess the phone up by resetting it?
Shouldn't of messed anything up with the reset. Check your apns..but first since u said it might be your carrier wouldn't you check with them first? Part of your phone bill goes to "free tech support" so use it

Check with carrier make sure your network is not down, and makes sure APN are set to your carrier
Figured it out. Thanks for the help.

That shouldn't affect it because ressting or factory resetting is a system tool and doesn't have anything to do with your mobile services, talk to customer support.

If you are on the stock touchwiz rom you can get to you apn settings by dialing ##data##

To get 3g you will need to use a verizon phone as a donor phone and get all the AAA keys and etc.

i have old droid x from verizon but its not activated my nephew use it to play games on it will that help ?
hey @brooksyx is there a guide hat you can post on how to flash to pageplus ?
yeah what I would suggest doing is activating the droid x phone to page plus and pulling all the number and then zeroing out the numbers on the droid x. However I don't if this can be done on a motorola phone because they have real tight security. Samsung and LG phones have been the easiest to get access to the needed numbers. So I would check before you activate the droid x.
I would recommend buying something like this and using it:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/LG-ALLY-Ver...ell_Phones&hash=item3f1b7c8950#ht_3634wt_1163
I can provide you with the correct software to unlock it to read the numbers.
As for a guide it will be somewhat similar to this:

[Q] stuck on edge still

I'm another victim of the dreaded imei =0 bug. I injected my imei back and also used the danx tool to get me back on 4g by following these directions but no dice.
If i force wcdma i can get 4g for a minute before the signal bar drops to nothing and eventual the connection dies and my carrier text than says "Unknown".
I called tmobile and they tried to reprov my line but still only 2g.
Anybody have any similar experiences? Any suggestions to get 4g back?
Yes unfortunately I sent mines in for warranty exchange, waiting for the replacement device.

If you backed up your IMEI then Inject the imei and then flash a different radio.... Don't quote me on this but I believe a member or two did that and got 4g back... Like I said in going by memory so I'm not sure if that is what they did

Flashing to page plus failed - how to revert to stock DFS settings?

Hello XDA!
While I was trying to flash my Sprint S3 to PagePlus, I couldn't get the data to work so I gave up and want to change the carrier settings back to stock. I accidentally deleted the screenshots I took of the DFS Tools screen with stock settings displaying. How can I find the original settings to set to, or can a factory reset do the trick?
Thank you,
Kevin
Why don't you try taking it to a page plus store an having them flash it for you? I did it costs me $50 but it was worth it. Everything works including 3g data. Just trying to help.

How in the name of android do they not know how to put 3g on it? Smh that sucks. Well only other thing I can suggest is for yu to ask qbking77 or use google. There is also a guide on the forums here as well. Good luck.

##sprtn# (##77786#) should revert all settings to sprint. Youll need your spc/msl code, I was able to get mine using msl reader app from the play store, just add to enter incorrect password in ##data# then read it again!

Search the tube for ps3evader.. $50 remote flash.. takes about 30 minutes..

Signal dropping constantly

So my mom has this phone, and me and my sister have HTC ones. Our phones work fine at home, and we just got Lte coverage a few days ago, so that's been nice. However, my mom's phone recently has been dropping basically every call no matter where she is or how much service it says she has. The signal bars show a red x, and usually given time the service will come back, but sometimes it takes a restart. I've tried updating profile and prl, and the best the people at the sprint store could do was tell me that there is supposed to be a software update coming to fix it. The phone is completely stock. It doesn't seem like the network cause the other phones work fine. Has anyone else had this issue? Any ideas on what we could try?

You must have weak LTE signal. Go to Settings>More>Mobile Networks and tick it to CDMA. If she wants LTE she'll have to do this manually.
Sorry but it's just the way this phone is.

I'll give that a try and see how it works. Why does this phone have an issue with it and the others don't seem to?

You can try to flash the ZVC radio from here. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2230106 but you'd have to root/unlock.
Other option is to LGNPST in the same thread under "Additional info". That's about all I got.
