Hi,
I have an annoying problem. Don't know if it is common problem or what, i'm not found any solution yet over the internet. The problem begin when i'm in call. then when the call end, the screen is not turning on. after a series or try, it fail to on. so, i have to pull the battery and put back. it is very annoying when i'm in urgent call. One more thing, another problem arise. phone automatically reboot when in call. I need your help to solve this problem. If this thread is posted early, please kindly link me to the thread with solution.

This seems similar to this thread. So maybe if you share your experience with the other person who has a similar problem of black screen with calling then it will be beneficial to both of you and for others to gain more information then help you both

Hi all,
Ive tried searching for anything related to this but I couldn't find anything. I've got a Desire on Orange but I'm having problems answering calls. If i haven't used it for a while, and I get a call, I can answer it but the other person can't hear me. They can call me back immediately after cutting the call off and it will work. I've flashed pretty much every rom available, other than the radio update because it locks the SIM out but its been the same for all of them. Is anyone else having this issue? Should I send it back to Orange/HTC? Hoping not to with having no Orange rom to flash back to it.

Oliver, I've got exactly the same problem... I've been away for a few days, and every time I was called first thing in the morning, the caller could not hear me. It's become so predictable that now when my wife calls, she knows the phone does this so she simply asks me to call back.
I found powering the phone down also fixed it, and initially assumed it might be some power/profile affecting software causing the problem, but from what I've found via Google this evening I'm not so sure.
The following threads on other forums (here and here)also describe the same issue, but without any credible solution.
Can anyone here assist us?! It's driving me mad!

In case anyone else comes across this... it appears to have been fixed with the Froyo update.
every android rom i install on my tilt has a problem right after i reset the phone i can hear and talk to people but after a short while all sound quits working and the mic doesnt work. any help is apriciated. anyone else have this problem?
What radio are you using?

I really hate this so bad.
When your problem is resolved, type how it was resolved.
I don't know how hard it is, but when you have a problem, someone else will have a problem, and your "problem solved' is useless.

Sleep mode issues
I have discovered that if I let my Artemis go into sleep mode it doesn't "take calls". Doesnt even register a call came in.
It does let me know I had a voicemail
it does pick up on text messages.
Just not incoming calls.
When I try to call out after I wake it up from sleep mode, it tries, but just does not want to connect. Phone doesn't freeze, just never makes the call. when I try to hang up, the "hanging up" screen stays forever, but I can go back to home screen. The phone icon in the top left taskbar never goes away, either. ( happens only sometimes otherwise outgoing works fine)
I am fairly certain this is a known issue, but is there any workaround for this? Perhaps command in startup txt regarding sleep mode?
Its sad..its just like a brick in Sleep mode and u cod end up making many enemies in ur freinds circle when you are not calling back...

More than a hundered Views, but not even one reply..I guess I am the only one who has this issue with Artemis....I have done everything from changing rom to factory, trying several roms, official rom, changing radio roms, battery....but still same issue.....
Any suggestion or experience pls share with me....
Yes..one more issue i have along with it is that my mobile always shows roaming icon.

I went back to factory rom radio... then again back to 3.8.
and now i am back to 3.21....thats wot it says....and the poll says....best over here for Artemis
So i have been reading here alot on the Q&A and seem to have found relevant posts/threads mentioning this issue..i don't exactly know if this is isolated or its from a faulty batch or its really a stupid feature of the One X..currently i am pissed so great on this phone..sorry to some who loved this phone but this phone is PITA for me..

on those threads the issue of "Sensor still staying up even the call is already done" is imminent and in one case it is using VIBER that this issue arises..well on my issue i don't have anything installed on my Phone so i am just using my stock Call app(HTC one..)and when i make calls this issue just repeats is self..
to be more precise
-when i make a call, it will turn on sensor then it will immediately turn off screen even if the phone is not even near my ear..
-after the call the sensor is still lit up so i have to make a dummy call to turn it off and on this instance the screen again shuts itself off and sometimes its hard to wake it up..
if someone can provide a solution to this much better..or can explain to me what the heck is this phone made off..and what the heck this phone is doing..i have tried almost every kernel and reverted to stock via RUU still the same friggin issue persists..
This problem happens randomly if I call someone or if someone calls me my phone rings and I answer the phone and its silent I cant hear the other person and the other person can't hear me usually to fix this I reboot the phone or take the battery out and sometimes it doesn't even work. I'm not sure what kind of problem this is when I first bought the phone I had no problems like this with it I rooted it and put a variety of different Custom ROMS on my phone and thats when the problem started occurring. Can anyone give me any ideas are things I can do to fix this problem, do i need to update my Radio or should I restore it back to the way it was ? Has anyone else on this forum experience something like this ? Anyways I hope someone can help me out thanks in advance.
