The split view (see attachement) in the message app is enabled in the parameters, but when I'm in lanscape mode, the app doesn't split anymore. Has anyone encountered this problem ? And how to fix that ?
Also the split view works well on the email app, but not in the message app.
I'm on stock rom
The version number of my Note II is : JRO03C.N7100XXALIJ

Hi all
I recently upgraded my ROM to the latest EUR WWE ROM (1.19.401.1) and applied the SMS Hotfix. I don't know if it's related but I've now got a problem with the SMS application which is part of TF3D. Basically, Text Messages that I have received are either truncated in the TF3D Messages View, or are simply not displayed at all, i.e. when I tap on the message in the TF3D Messages tab, I get the relevant contact card, on the messages tab, but with no messages displayed, or like the screenshot attached.
If anybody can suggest a cause and/or a solution to this problem I would be very grateful!

Font substitution problem
Hi all
I have realised that this problem related to the substitution of the font for one which needs a higher "row height" than that which is normally used by the regular M3D font as per this thread:

Does anybody know how to increase the row height in the M3D 2.1 messages page as well as in the messages page in a contact and when launced by tapping on the message displayed in the messages page.

I am using the win mobile SMS messaging system. Is their tweak program or a registry tweak that can show more lines of information on the SMS inbox screen? Currently the main screen only shows only 2 lines of information. That is not enough information sometimes when I am scrolling for a particular email. Is there a way to show 3 lines of information?

Am ithe only onewith this problem? or is it just unsolvelable? Their has to be a registery tweek that can add another line in the preview inbox.
I noticed that my email summary page gives a multi line preview of the message is their a way to get the sms preview page to look the same?

Just wondering if anyone using Handcent/Go SMS has their MMS pictures turn upside down or sideways? Wondering if this is a common issue.
It looks like it only sends upside down when the picture is taken with the camera button on the left in landscape mode, and turns sideways when the picture is in portrait.
Any way around this?

It seems to be a problem related to samsung phone. I have this temporary fix for you. Before sending the desired pictures you have to go in gallery select the picture and crop it and save it you're picture wont turn sideways. Quite annoying to do but at least it works.
I've read up on it before and it's supposedly because of the 'metadata' standard which they (SAMSUNG) use. Never supposed to use your camera in portrait mode supposedly...
Even though; how come none of the SMS apps let you rotate a picture in-app? Very amateur stuff.
I have this problem with galaxy s2 but my samsung corny pro was fine. What annoyed me abouth this phone too is that you can t set different sms tone for you're contact and was able to do so with my older corny pro

Mate of mine and I are having the exact same issue, pics taken in portrait are displaying in landscape (although my landscape tests so far seem to be displaying properly).
My mate and I have the same setup, as follows:
SGSII i9100
ROM: FoxHound GreyFox v2 - XWLP9 (ICS 4.0.3)
Kernel: Siyah v3.2.5.1+
Modem: XXLPB
Go SMS Pro is the SMS/MMS app.
Also, just for reference, when I test this process (adding a pic to an SMS) using the default android messaging app it always attaches correctly...
As a side note, I've also noticed that when you open the normal image gallery, the thumbnail is showing the photo in landscape but when you click on the thumbnail to open it it opens correctly in portrait, so I'm guessing, as suggested above, that it's not specific to the messaging app but something to do with the storage of the image.
Anyone got any further details/info on this and how to resolve it?

When I open the stock messaging app using insane 4.4.2 tw tmo rom, it always opens the app on the last text message instead of the main list showing new messages. Is there any way to change this so it defaults to the message list?
Don't know but that's normal behavior. If you want it to open to the new message and its thread, select it from the new message notification and it should open on the new thread

I upgraded my redmi note 8 pro india yesterday to the latest version of the Miui 12.5.3 stable beta
so i noticed that I have 2 issues
- The small issue was the absence of Bubbles option in developer options so i can't enable it in order to use messenger's bubbles
also i didn't find any options in the notification section of the bubbles in the settings
so when i click to the message notification it redirects me to messenger app and not opening a new bubble
but It isn't a big problem
- The big problem/issue is not being able to set gallery as gallery default app
and when i use apps like pixellab it redirects me into Files app and when i click on a picture it doesn't appear in Pixellab
like the operation was canceled or something like this
(same issue with ImageSearchMan when i try to search by images)
but when i use apps like messenger and Picsart which seem like they have their own file( manager and not using the Files app) the pictures get imported without any problem
only the Gallery Default App option have this issue
other ones like Messaging default works well
so please tell me if i can do something to fix it or I'll just wait until the Stable miui 12.5 releases because this is a Stable Beta version

when i enabled miui optimization everything worked fine
+I am a pixellab user too
Did you try mod version?
