I currently have a stock 4.1 rom, the one that came on the device. It's a german rom, even though I live in the Netherlands. That doesn't botter me, btw I use US english as a system language.
I rooted that with auto root. So I have NO recovery and NO triangle. However I do have system status modified and thus cannot OTA update.
No what I want to achieve is:
-Newest STOCK rom, with ink blob etc
-Maybe different language rom, does that matter for ANYTHING?
-Enable OTA
-Keep root
-No triangle
-Ability to flash zips, most importantly NFC at lock screen, and allow more apps for split view.
-Keep EVERYTHING what is currently on, so no factory reset if possible.
Is all this possible, and how? I cannot for the life of me find any info how to do it.
Thanks VERY much if anyone knows and can explain.
N7100 btw
No, update is not possible via OTA or Kies when you're rooted.

Okay, let's say forget about OTA, is the other combination still possible?
You can use Mobile Odin to flash a stock ROM with keeping root. And flashing a stock official ROM will not wipe any data.
To flash zip's you need to have a custom/advanced Recovery.
Sent from my GT-N7100
Edit: okay I used Xposed for the NFC at lock screen so flashable zips is not really needed anymore. Now my final question stands:
If I flash, for instance this rom:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1915386
1: My triangle will stay away, correct?
2: However, I will need to choose French, which is not a problem, but does this not change anything else besides the default system language? I thought it had something to do with handwriting as well (which I currently don't have)?
3: If I choose either ODEX or DEODEXED, both will keep all my data?

I can't answer your question with regard to language options. However, flashing that ROM via ODIN, either odexed or deodexed, should not wipe your data or increase your flash counter.
However, and another member has already mentioned this, I strongly suggest you familarize yourself with MobileODIN. Currently, there is no way to receive OTA updates with "Modified" system status; and if you're rooted, you'll always have "Modified" system status.
However, just because your device can't receive OTA updates, that doesn't mean your device can't flash OTA updates that you've downloaded manually via an update.zip. Furthermore, flashing an OTA update.zip via MobileODIN Pro will allow you to retain root through the process. Additionally, MobileODIN also has the ability to flash full, PC ODIN-Flashable ROMs just like the odexed/deodexed ones you're currently looking at. Unlike with PC ODIN though, MobileODIN Pro gives you the option to inject root into whatever ROM you happen to be flashing at the time. So, if you wanted, you could go download the absolute latest completely stock, untouched, unrooted OTA or full ROM, use MobileODIN to flash it and root it at the same time, and remain completely stock except for having root access.
Now, I don't know if staying as stock as possible is even important to you. However, if it is, then MobileODIN Pro is your one-stop-shop for flashing stock, PC ODIN-Flashable ROMs whenever you need to. And even if staying completely stock isn't important to you, MobileODIN is still the best way to update to the latest ROM before cooks even have a chance to include it in their custom ROMs.

Greetings Folks,
I know this question has been asked before, and I did read a lot of threads on this topic, but ended up getting confused with terms like ADB shell, root shell, emulator etc . So, here I am, asking for help from you guys. I will try to explain what I am trying to achieve, and hope you will point me in the right direction.
I have a ROOTED GT i9082 (firmware details in screenshot). I have backed up my phone using CWM backup mode (.tar format), and I see that the backup folder contains a lot of different kind of files (like .tar, .img and .tar.a extensions). Please see the attached screenshot for the list. Now, I want to create just one single ODIN flashable file (.tar or .tar.md5) from all these files. The reason for this, is if I decide to try and install some stock not-rooted ROM, and lose the CWM, then restoring back to my old rooted ROM could be a hassle. But if I have a backup ODIN flashable file of my current rooted ROM, then I can straight-away flash my backed-up .tar file from ODIN and restore my phone back to my custom ROM.
I have ODIN and the ADB drivers installed on my laptop, just don't know how to create one single ODIN flashable .tar file from all the various files created by the CWM backup. Any help/advice would be appreciated!!! Cheers!!!

If those things confuse you then the more you will get confused if we tell you about LINUX COMMAND LINE.
What I know is that there is nobody yet that can do the things you are asking. There is a tutorial on XDA about extracting files from the tar.md5 ODIN flashable file then "cooking" a custom rom from those files. This can also be done with the files from a NANDROID backup. I do not know of a way to do the reverse of that. That is make an ODIN flashable file from those "modded" files. I am sure there is a way but I think it is beyond the means of us non programmers/developers.
Furthermore, it is easier to restore CWM in case you lose, after that restore any NANDROID backup as long as they are on the external sd card.
If you want to learn try THIS

Let me explain what I wish to do, and then maybe you can help me understand this better.
I wish to upgrade my i9082 to 4.2.2, but most of the ROMs available on XDA need me to already be on 4.2.2 leaked ROM. I tried a few of the leaked 4.2.2 which were fine with me being on 4.1.2. After flashing the initial 4.2.2 ROM, I was able to boot up successfully, but after that, when I tried to install Balli's GENNXT XUBMGA 4.2.2 ROM, my phone went into boot loop. So I have decided to try the Samsung official 4.2.2 ROM (released in Germany probably), and then try installing Balli's ROM. But the problem is that the official ROM needs to be flashed via ODIN, and will not be rooted. So I fear that after flashing the official 4.2.2 ROM, I might lose my CWM, thereby rendering my restore ability useless, even though I have my CWM backups for my current ROM (Balli's 4.1.2 rooted ROM).
So, my queries are as follows:-
1) If I flash the official 4.2.2 ROM, will I lose my CWM? If yes, is there any way I can flash and install the CWM again with ODIN, with the official 4.2.2 unrooted ROM still installed?
2) Does flashing CWM via ODIN require root or unlocked bootloader?
3) If I can install CWM with the official 4.2.2 unrooted ROM installed on my phone, will I be able to boot into recovery and restore my backed up rooted Balli's 4.1.2 ROM?
So basically, I want to try the 4.2.2 ROM, but want to be able to revert my phone back to 4.1.2 in case I don't like it.

Everything you need to know is HERE. Installing balliboxer rom needs a wipe after flashing or else you will get bootloop.
And I have done this 2 X. I am back to 4.1.2 now because I want to utilize the external2internal app.
And if you wan to get back to nandroid backup of your 4.1.2 then flash any stock 4.1.2 then install CWM and do a restore from CWM. Very easy for me.
Absolutely right @muntinlupa
@acemccloud1
Go easy man...nothing to worry...
First flash leaked or official 4.2.2 through odin..yes u will lose cwm...so flash cwm through odin...same way as u flashed on 4.1.2...boot in to cwm...wipe data factory reset...wipe cache n dalvik cache...now flash GENNXT 4.2.2...after flashing wipe cache n dalvik cache...reboot..
now u r on ballis GENNXT 4.2.2
Now if u want to revert back..(4.1.2 restore)
Flash stock 4.1.2 through odin (necessary as u can't restore ur 4.1.2 backup on 4.2.2)...flash cwm through odin...restore ur 4.1.2 backup with cwm....
Remember...before doing factory reset if ur backup file is in internal sd then just move it on external sd>clockworkmod>backup>ur file...n do not rename ur backup file...u may get md5 mismatch error...happy flashing....

UCUFNJ1 4.4.2 incremental update contains firmware.... bootloaders and modem baseband.
MUST BE ON UCUFNE4 FIRMWARE TO CONTINUE!!! Guide can be found here. http://forum.xda-developers.com/gal...are-update-t2808654/post53984772#post53984772
This is the perfect time to use this update to return your S3 to stock for resale or whatever. Download and save these files for when you are ready to return your phone to stock.
*This is a rooted NE4 system.img, stock recovery.img and boot.img. The install script will format system and factory data reset. /media is safe.*
1. Flash restore zip in a custom recovery. CWM, TWRP, Philz. https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=95784891001611561
2. Boot your phone and go through setup.
3. Use triangle away and clear your counter. http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s2/orig-development/2014-01-15-triangleaway-v3-26-t1494114
4. *Optional* If you want a clean un-rooted phone for the update do this now! , Go into SuperSu >settings>full unroot.
5. Reboot your phone.
6. Search for the OTA in the about settings, download and let the phone update.
Or download this and place in the root of your phones internal storage. Reboot into recovery and select the update from update.zip https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=95784891001611091
Advanced users.
The original OTA cfg file. https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=95784891001611092
.cfg file goes in root/cache/fota
Rename the .cfg extension to .zip and you can rename it update.zip yourself or you can actually flash it in a custom recovery once renamed. if you choose not to use the stock recovery to update.
*You will loose root during the update* But the bootloader is not locked so you can still Odin your favorite recovery and flash SuperSU.
TWRP 2.8.1.0 Odin tar. http://techerrata.com/file/twrp2/d2att/openrecovery-twrp-2.8.1.0-d2att.tar
SuperSU http://download.chainfire.eu/589/SuperSU/UPDATE-SuperSU-v2.16.zip?retrieve_file=1
Once you flash your favorite recovery via Odin, you need to be ready to hold the Volume Up, Power and Home button combo when Odin reboots your phone. If you don't catch it, once the OS boots it will replace recovery with the stock version. Once SuperSU is installed your recovery will stick.

For the advanced users, should we be able to install the update without any issues? I saw in another thread that someone had installed but now their phone will not boot past the Samsung logo to anything other than a black screen.
Also, do we know what this update contains yet? Other than new bootloaders, removal of root, etc.

You know if your not wanting to return your phone to stock I really wouldn't mess with this update. Far as the user who couldn't boot... Idk I wasn't there to watch them update. This whole mess with the S3 is exhausting. We haven't got a real Odin release so I'm woking with what I can extract from my phone after updating. The system.img in ne4 zip is 100% stock except for root. So I know the update worked because I did it. Also not sure what was updated either... The kernel yes... Firmware yes, all the system apps get patched so without decompiling ne4 and nj1 apps and comparing them afraid I have no idea what the update fixes or improves.
Thanks for all you do for us S3 owners, enewman17.
If we upgrade to the new NJ1 firmware, and then flash your latest SRX Rom, I assume we cannot then use your "restore.zip" to once again go back to NE4 stock since we would be on NJ1 bootloader? If so, is there a way to go back to NJ1 stock if we later want to sell our phone?

Yeah, I saw that, but I never had a custom recovery before, that I know of at least, and I suspect a lot of other people finding this thread in the coming days are going to be in the same boat as me. They just want SuperSU so their favorite 1 or 2 apps that require SU can continue to work.
Has anybody tried CF-AutoRoot yet on the NJ1 4.4.2?

I can confirm this as a root method for NJ1. You were exactly right regarding immediately booting into recovery after installing TWRP thru Odin. The files provided in your links (TWRP 2.8.1.0 Odin tar. http://techerrata.com/file/twrp2/d2a....1.0-d2att.tar and
SuperSU http://download.chainfire.eu/589/Sup...etrieve_file=1)
worked exactly as stated.
A BIG thanks to you. I can't live without AdAway, TiBackup and Xposed anymore! The few days without root left me a little grumpy.
And regarding the NJ1 update as a whole...I THINK the baseband upgrade IS an actual upgrade. Since NE4, I always thought Wifi operated was somewhat choppy/throttled. THIS looks to have been improved back to ICS "standards". Re: voice, I've had a handful of dropped calls, broken up calls, and choppy data in low signal areas over the past few months on with NE4. Initial observations (albeit a tad premature) lead me to believe that this has improved as well based on a weeks worth of data use and a few calls in a "controlled" environment (the area and physical structure of my work office complex is not cellular signal friendly to begin with) I have also noticed that boot-up time has improved a bit as well. Thanks again for your efforts with the ATT GS3!
I flashed CF-Auto ROOT via Odin without success, unable to gain root access. Followed your instructions via TWRP and flashed SuperSu 2.16, my SGS3-i747 is properly rooted and functioning perfectly on UCUFNJ1. As always, thank you very kindly for all your valuable time, effort, hard work and guidance. Be well, sir!

What version of Odin do we need to flash that TWRP, or do you have a link handy?
I've seen quite a lot of different Odins out there and don't want to brick my phone by using the wrong one.
Any pitfalls to watch out for if using TWRP for the first time? I'm sure there is going to be a bunch of people having to do this now that both CF-AutoRoot and TowelRoot doesn't work anymore.
For me, personally, I just use root for AdFree and to edit the font fallback order to properly support Japanese instead of Chinese glyphs on shared Han-unified Unicode codepoints.

Use Odin 3.0.7
Not really any pitfalls to TWRP. It has an easy clean user interface and it works.
Once you have flash Super Su, in my how to ne4 update there is a flashable stock recovery. You just flash it with TWRP and once you reboot, stock recovery will be back on you phone.
Hi enewman17,
Thanks for your posts and work. I'm hoping you can help me get the new NJ1 update installed and rooted.
Here's where I'm at: AT&T SGS3 on rooted stock NE4, installed using your guides from back in June this year.
The OTA NJ1 update downloaded but failed to install (as did the NE4 OTA back then, I assume because I was rooted).
My phone still has the TWRP recovery from the previous update, so I was hoping I could install using the original OTA cfg file download from the "advanced" section in your OP so as to avoid factory reset, etc.
I downloaded the file, renamed to update.zip, and copied to my SD card. However, when I boot into TWRP and try to install it, I get an error after the system check, something like "assert failed ro.secure==1". I guess I'm doing something wrong, maybe I'm mistaken about how the original OTA is supposed to work?
Again, I'm trying to end up with a stock, but rooted, NJ1 firmware but hopefully without having to reset/lose data and settings on the phone. I don't really care right now about resale or making it look like I haven't messed with it.
Thanks for any help you can provide! Let me know if I can provide any additional details.
I am actually looking to do the exact same thing. Currently rooted, with a lot of the AT&T apps frozen via Titanium Backup.
Hope there is some way to accomplish this without returning to stock!
Thanks in advance!

[ROM] [N910PVPS4COK1] [100% Stock, Root, Odexed&Deodexed, No KNOX/Itson] [12/15/2015]
Once again I bring to you two completely stock builds of Android TW-Lollipop 5.1.1 (N910PVPS4COK1) for the Sprint Samsung Galaxy Note 4.. Both ROMs are built from the official Samsung tar ball. The ROM will self root upon flash and it has init.d/busybox support. Knox and Sprint Itson has been removed. Both ROMs are completely stock with all of the original factory installed apps. Available in odexed and deodexed. Both ROMs are identical other than one being odexed and the other deodexed. Also included in both ROMs in this thread is the stock OK1 modem and APN patch to ensure you have the latest modem & APN's from the latest OK1 software.
Other than the removal of Knox and Sprint Itson, these roms are 100% stock in every other way. They are stock and will stay that way. Please don't ask for mods, changes, etc in this thread. These roms are intended for those people who want the stock roms in their original form with the addition of root and removal of Knox & itson, as well as other members who need a good solid base for their rom projects. I give permission for other dev's to use this rom as your base ONLY if you contact me prior to using it. If I find users using my work without proper credits I will report you and make you look like a fool I promise. Do the right thing and give credits to people for their time and work. It's a curtesy and respect thing nothing more. With that said, I highly recommend other rom chef's/dev's to use this base rom because it is bug-free and built from the official Samsung tar ball. Last but not least, if you appreciate my work please press that Thanks button, rate this thread and consider a kind donation! Enjoy!
Mods and fixes will be in post #2 below.
Important Notes: Before flashing ANY Lollipop 5.1.1 TW-based ROM, including this one, you MUST first do one of the following:
1. Take the Lollipop OK1 ota update on your phone. (Start by being on the stock unrooted OJ6 rom then take the OK1 ota update)
2. Odin flash the stock OK1 rom tar using odin on your PC. Thanks @samep
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=64337077&postcount=115
Once you have correctly updated your Note 4 to Lollipop 5.1.1, software version N910PVPS4COK1 DO NOT... I repeat, DO NOT attempt to root your phone with CF-auto root or other methods. It will soft brick your phone. Instead, you ONLY need to flash the latest TWRP recovery using odin on your pc. Nothing else. The ROM zip will automatically root your phone.
If you are still on any KK or Lollipop 5.0 TW-based ROM such as NIE, NK2, OB7, OE1 , OF5, OB7 or OJ6 (including any KK AOSP/CM-based roms) then you MUST first update to Lollipop 5.1.1 OK1 by one of the two methods I mentioned above BEFORE flashing this ROM. Failure to properly update your device partitions to 5.1.1 OK1 firmware absolutely WILL cause problems. You have been warned. Please don't ask for help if you did not follow my simple instructions and warnings.
Flashing instructions: ***Before beginning the flash/setup process MAKE SURE your battery has at least 50% charge and/or connected to the charger!!!***
1. Backup anything you don't want to lose off your internal and external storage to another location just to be safe.
2. Download the rom using your pc. (downloading with your phone has a much higher risk of file corruption. Not recommended with large files).
3. VERIFY the MD5!!! Once the download has finished, compare the androidfilehost MD5 using a MD5 tool on your pc. (Google "md5 checksum windows") for a good MD5 tool for your pc.
4. Put the downloaded rom onto your internal storage or external micro sd card.
5. With phone powered off, reboot into recovery by pressing and holding volume up, power and the home button until you see the Samsung logo then release all buttons.
6. Once in recovery choose the wipe button and do a factory reset three times. Optional but recommended is to wipe "Data". This will wipe all of your user data such as google accounts so MAKE SURE you backed up first like I said in step #1 above! Next go to "advanced wipe" and select all of the partitions EXCEPT micro-sd card and internal storage. Internal storage is optional but recommended when first updating to a major software revision such as 4.3 to 4.4 or 5.0.1 to 5.1.1. The reason is to remove left-over data from previous version of Android and start with a clean slate.
7. Choose the "Install" option and select the rom "Sprint_Stock_N910PVPS4COK1_XXX" from either your internal or external micro-sd card. It will flash the rom and give a confirmation once completed.
8. Press "Reboot" then "reboot system". You will get a prompt warning about not having root. Please IGNORE IT and DO NOT allow TWRP to apply root! If you do then you MUST wipe everything and start over at step 5 above and reflash the rom in order to get rid of the traditional root system binaries. ***Please pay attention and DO NOT let TWRP install root. Ignore the "No Root" warning.***
9. Initial rom "optimization" will take several minutes for the deodexed rom while ART builds its cache (the odexed rom takes much less time for first boot). The phone will remain on the yellow Sprint Spark screen for about 10 -13 minutes during this time. Let the phone optimize for at least 13 minutes (for the deodexed rom) and the screen will eventually turn off or show the setup wizard once it finishes. When the screen turns off, simply turn it on and proceed to setup your phone.
10. Once finished with the setup wizard, wait a few moments and the phone will automatically install the Sprint apps. You must either "accept" or "disagree" with each and every google prompt for these apps or else the installs pause until you do so.. Also you will be prompted for the "connections optimizer". Quickly set it to what you want and close it. That's it! You're done!
One last bit of important information... If you allow any system update or Samsung security update to install it WILL break root. I advise everybody to disable automatic updates which is located in Settings/System update.
You can allow an update to install but you will then need to flash the beta systemless SuperSU packages located in HERE in order to regain systemless root.
Credits:@Chainfire for root and SuperSU. Without him we would not have root. Thank you!@TeamWin for TWRP recovery. http://teamw.in/project/twrp2 and here
General disclaimer:flashing anything on your device is done at your own risk. There is no way myself or any other developer can guarantee that flashing this ROM or any other file will not brick your device or otherwise cause some other type of damage. This is just a standard warning. I am not responsible for anything that you do to your device. However, all of my roms, mods, etc are pre tested by myself and other testers prior to public release.

Nice work! Just in time!
So far so good as usual.
Interesting thing, Software OK1, Baseband OJ6, Bootloader OB7.
Thanks for this Tx. It will help the anxiety while we wait for Marshmallow.
Yep, didn't flash the stock tar.
Now to see about wanam xposed.

That's interesting. You should still have the OK1 modem after flashing either of these roms because I included it in the rom zips.

I'll play with it tonight, backup and flash the stock tar. Go from there and see.
Well if you flash the OJ6 tar then take the OK1 ota update then you will definetely get the OK1 modem. No worries do as you want. I was just suprised to hear that the OK1 modem didn't stick when flashing this rom. You really should update your entire firmware, bootloader etc to latest OK1. Unles you want to run older KK and Lollipop 5.0 software.

First thing in the morning. I'm all blurry eyed. ?
Thanks again Tx.
EDIT:
Flashed OK1 Tar, wiped everything, flashed this rom, restored all my apps and I picked up 9gb of internal storage. Lotta leftover junk.
Wanam xposed is working perfectly.
I rooted my daughters phone back in March and left it stock. Didn't even put TWRP. She wanted some updating... Ao I flashed back the stock tar from ANIE (which is what she had on the phone)
It downloaded 1 update. The cok1. 1.7 gb.
So that phone should be good to go...?

Yes sir you will be good to go with this rom or any OK1 base Touchwiz rom.
I will try to start on a new custom OK1 rom soon. I gotta juggle my free time so not sure how much time i'll have to spend on it. I will have to manually redo all of the mods, etc.
Thank you, tx_dbs_tx!
I was on OJ6 when I flashed this rom and it still says that I'm on OJ6.

If by detect you mean can't write to it use sdfix from the play store.
As this rom is stock without knox & itson it has the same issue with same fix.
Tx may (or not) update his rom (hybrid series) to OK1 in which case it would not be an issue.
I would suggest you Odin the stock OK1 Tar after backing up EVERYTHING including internal storage and wipe everything including internal storage. Then flash this rom.
But thats just me...
Edit.
Just reread your post...hmm pc and phone don't detect the card... Get to OK1 just the same. ..

You mean Galaxy tools? I had a hell of a time getting it to install. Ended up doing a complete wipe , flashing this rom and installing gt then restoring my apps. Took me a couple hours to figure it out. :sly:
Luv that app for easy access to hidden menu.
I've searched everywhere and can't seem to find a tar for PK1 can anyone tell me if there is one yet or are we still waiting on a tar? Sorry I usually don't ask questions but this one has me scratching my head lol

Still waiting it looks like,
You can always download the update and rip it from the phone and use android kitchen to make your own zip file of the tar

I mean how to convert update.zip to a flashable file either from odin or recovery or at least how to make a full tar file to flash via odin instead of downloading a large tar file.
Assume that you want to take OTA update and you successfully update your phone to the latest version then you want to make a full tar file to give it to your friend or to use it for emergency cases instead of downloading the full tar again from internet and losing your balance in download process.
You can't make a tar
But you can take a tar and make an update.zip either way they will be the same size
the only way to get the full tar is to download it when it is released
but you can take the update from the OTA if you full restore from tar of pj1 to pk1 then use that to update via recovery but youll need to be stock the OTA update zip files have file checking so it will fail if youre not stock
if you do get it PM me the link to the update.zip file I'll remove the integrity check so you can update on a rooted device

The Note7 port for Sprint by @tx_dbs_tx is currently targeting PJ1 for compatibility.
As for current suggested ROM, I believe that's subjective for now. These security updates tend to release faster than developers can port features and compatibility, IMO.
You may consider rooting PK1 or downgrading to PJ1 and rooting that for now. I can't give an ETA for the ported Note7. Other ports require additional reading, shared files and workarounds and individual effort for data and compatibility reasons. Reason is, these ROMs may also be beta and improving but also don't support Sprint's unique network.
The ROM you're asking about is in alpha or beta stages of development. tx_dbs_tx may release it in it's early alpha or beta if he feels it's stable enough for most users. Be patient; I think it'll happen soon enough.

Thanks, i had the Note 5 rom but it started to act funny so i odined back to stock and took a couple of updates to PK1. All i need or want is root and Tether, what would you suggest i flash or Odin to get that being i am on PK1?

I haven't seen a stock modified services.jar for updates after PH4. For tether, try the non modified approach in general forum. I think you have to reset that after each reboot?
For which to root and modify, I'd suggest PJ1 since that's where development is currently focused. Don't hold me to it but it appears there may not be a lot development for PK1 and up. (At least for now... that appears to be the case.)
Make a stock backup of PJ1 stock unmodified once you Odin TWRP for a possible starting point for the Note7 port install from OP instructions if it happens soon enough. That may save you a trip to Odin later as long as your bootloader and baseband remain PJ1. Just restore that instead. I recommend doing the backup before root, user applications and Google Play or Samsung updates are applied. The less of these, the better the backup for starting point is. All it would need is the completion of the setup wizard to backup with TWRP. Backup to extSdCard for safe keeping.
After TWRP backup, you can modify as needed to get by until then. Make another backup before flashing any other ROM or major mod to save time on customization duplication of effort if you should make a mistake. I prefer to keep both stock and preferred modified version of update on hand for the occasional oops or major mod trials that don't go as expected. Doesn't matter if making several backups of current ROM but I delete the ones that aren't current or relative to immediate backup restore intentions for such occasions. You never really appreciate timely application backups in titanium or helium and TWRP backups until it matters. They can save restoration time and make you feel good about the habit.

It's always best to downloaded it from Samsung. I used unroot to get it but now some great guys have made it so you can again change you're status to official like you could on kitkat. Wanam Xposed and firefds work great. The first ROM in the note 4 sprint has been the dtux mod for a minute. Theirs aroma installer is quite awesome. I'm looking at am official status and I'm quite customized.
