I know most docks have an aux port on which you can connect your android device, but are there any good native Android docks out there? I have an Altec Lansing M602 (Zune dock) and love it, can connect any of my devices via aux port but I want something that sounds as good if not better and can be remotely controlled. Connecting via aux port relegates you to controlling the device and dock controls via the dock or device itself. Any good options out there yet?

Have you heard any of those? I think BB may have a couple of those in stock, hopefully they have some on display so I can see how they sound.....then I'll order off Amazon and save some $. Gotta love BB for having demo's on hand to allow you to decide what you want to buy online :good:
I was just wondering if anyone had hooked a touch screen monitor to their smart dock? If so...does it interact and work with the phone docked??

I don't think it'd work. To the best of my knowledge hdmi connection is only video and audio out, not data in.
So due to recent events, I don't have a computer. And the odds of me getting one soon are very slim. So to help this problem, I want to buy a multimedia dock for my Atrix 4g. My plan is to get the dock, place it in front of my tv, plug my phone in, plug in a wireless keyboard and mouse to the back, and attach an HDMI chord to the back of it, so my tv works as my display. Before I buy the dock, can I get some opinions on this idea? think it will work well?

It works awesome, I loved mine. But then my 1st gen atrix touchscreen started to act up and I did the insurance on it and they sent me an atrix 2 because atrix 1 is not made anymore, now I have atrix 1 lapdock and multimedia dock that I can't use since moto cleverly changes the hdmi and usb Ports so the two devices accessories would not be interchangeable.
Make an offer on the accessories and I might sell them to you!

Glad to know its a working set up. Things never really seem to work the way I expect them to when it comes to things like this. But I only need a multimedia dock. I found one on amazon for $6.49 marked as new. Thanks for the offer though

I am looking to install the LTE n7 in my car, I havent purchased it yet because I am trying to figure out if there is a desktop dock that includes charging/audio out or just audio out, the reason being I dont want to Embed it into the dash i wanna be able to take it out, the Old n7 dock is perfect is there something similar for the new one? I can use the QI charging and embed it into the dash but for the audio bluetooth is a problem.
My car has an HDMI In, and right now a chromecast is hooked up. However it's very laggy and isn't the best option for screen sharing imo. What would you guys suggest I put in there to give a better android car experience? I was thinking about a pi3 with android auto, but I'm not sure how input would work without a touch screen. Anyone have ideas?
Thanks!
