Which android version are you running?
I did not find a T9 option in my Android 4.2 so did you download a T9 keyboard and installed it? If yes then you can go to Settings --> Language & input --> Select the "Default" under "Keyboard & Input Methods".
Hope that helps
I am running 4.1 version and I did not installed any external T9 Keyboards

I surfed and really can't find a T9 keyboard on 4.1 also
It will help if you post a screenshot showing the keyboard you are talking about.
What about the ROM you are running? Maybe it already includes a T9 keyboard so the system set it as a default.
I think that in all cases if this keyboard is not built-in android 4.1 itself then you can change the default keyboard to the "Android Keyboard" from the settings.

Hi all! I recently updated to Resurrection Remix ics v1.4 by westcrip and am missing the Stock ICS greek keyboard with the dictionary. There are other keyboards on the market for greek, but most without dictionary and none with a dictionary as complete as stock ICS. Can anyone extract it? Sorry but I don´t know how to...Thanks in advance!
+1 looking for the same , until I get the Greek stock ICS keyboard my only solution is Swype keyboard , and download languages pack with include dictionary as well .
I want it too

Here is stock keyboard. but right I don't have it installed, so I cant check it for greek.
Anyway, you need to copy it to "/system/app" using "root explorer " and reset your phone. I suggest that rename the original one to something like "LatinIME.bak" so you won't need a total restore in case of malfunctioning.
Thank you very much I'll try it and let you know!

From the view of things I need the Latin IME dictionary pack, I can write greek eolith the current keyboard I just don't have the dictionary (suggestions and spelling). Mine is 122 Kb at the moment, seems a bit small. Thanks

Swype is fully free whereas swiftkey hv a paid version also..
Swype is much better than swiftkey in my opinion...
Fired From My FireDevice.
I've been using Swiftkey 3 and it works fine. Its predictions are great, saves you from having to type a lot!
I used Swifkey 3 for 9 months on my Note 1. But after using the stock Samsung keyboard, I have decided to use it exclusively. It has both Swipe & prediction functionalities.
Touchpal keyboard for me.
I`am using SlideIT for years now, very happy with it :good:
thx
The stock Samsung keyboard has Swype and Swiftkey included.
Go keyboard.
stock samsung keyboard.
however i find it annoying how it doesnt auto select prediction with space bar..
I love Smart Keyboard Pro

You can select that option in the input options in the main settings menu
Guys..who ever has not tried Super keyboard Pro.. Please check and decide ...its awsome...way better than swift, Touchpal and SlideIT
I use SwiftKey mainly because of the great multi language support. I do wish it was more customisable.

I like the Samsung keyboard better. I found with Swiftkey I was auto selecting unintentionally more than not.

How can we make it do so? I'm considering a switch mainly for the excellent handwriting recognition with stock samsung keyboard.
If there is a way where we can switch keyboard automatically with s pen for handwriting then I'll keep using SwiftKey.
Please someone enlighten us, been wanting this to work since my first Note

Hi
I noticed that the default Samsung keyboard does not auto correct when I am typing wrong words. I cannot even enable that in keyboard settings. Is there a way around this. Thanks

What about the default English keyboard that comes installed by default
If you want auto correction download a keyboard from the market that has it, such as swift key. The stock Samsung keyboard doesn't have the option.
Anybody have any good suggestions for emoji keyboard somewhat similar to that of Apples? Any good suggestions are highly appreciated.

Kii keyboard on Play has the option. I prefer it to Swift key.
TouchPal is only thing close. If it gets prediction working better then it will be better.

Tested Both
I tested both Kii and Touchpal, everyone will prefer a different keyboard, but kii fits my needs better, plus it has more features, Thanks to both of you for your replys

I use the LG OG Pro keyboard. It has the number row, and supports swipe typing.

A.I and KII both have top rows for numbers; both are free on the Play store as well.

I dropped Swiftkey for this. The only annoyance is you have to teach it most chat slang and abreviated words. Other than that, the style and lay out with dedicated number row is what I'm loving about it.

What Version of Swiftkey are you using? because they did not had a dedicated row for the numbers... screenshot?
Use Android key board and change the lay out to PC.

Oh, excuse the confusion. I didn't mean Swiftkey had the number row. I was referring to the O keyboard that I linked above.
