I've noticed since I updated my phone to Jellybean, my Blue/Green/Red notification light seems dimmer then before. Has anyone else found this as well?

It's been brought up, and confirmed. No fix yet.

That pertains this thread how?
If you go back to ICS or a CM/AOSP/KP rom you'll notice how dim it is compared to JellyBean TW. I prefer it almost dimmer. When on CM I flip my phone over so I dont have to see the bright light illuminate my room.

Try this. The dim led got on my nerves too. I enjoy having an LED notification

Brightness of LED Notification depends on lux in the room. Try it, place phone in bright place and turn screen off then in some dark room. Was I the first to figure that out or dead topic is dead.

Can you explain these tweaks? Or upload a settings file? I have the paid version as well and cannot figure it out.
Thanks
I had Light Flow on my Galaxy Nexus for a while and it worked perfect. That's a different story with the GS3, there seems to be many bugs right now. So I have it disabled for now.
It's a known issue with the US GS3

Actually the link I found was dead but I found the old thread kbizzle had for his port of AOKP and it mentioned using root explorer to turn them off. I tried the method and now my buttons are off but the lights are still on. But I quit tinkering when I went to work.

Correction, leave the setting checked in device settings and if u go to system/usr/keylayout and delete those four lines in sec.touchkey.kl and save then reboot, it will completely disable the buttons and lights.

Didn't want to disable the entire buttons just lights. But someone suggested to me enable the light with the checkmark then reboot, it's backwards for some reason.

Yeah having both is definitely asinine but I thought is was something different to look at for once. But either way I don't dig the lights or the fact it uses battery.

No need to have the mods remove it, and actual it is useful info. I would change the title to [Solved]Button Lights Off | AOKP
and then put in OP the way to solve those lights like i said.

Here are two zips which enable or disable the bottom keys to give a more nexus like experience. someone has requested them once before and i posted them into that thread, and then they recommended a thread specific for the mod. so i finally made the thread ha. here you are guys.
So what exactly does this do? It disables the home, search , etc keys at the bottom of the phone? If that's correct how do you navigate to home or click "back" this may be a dumb question. Just curious. My wife is looking for something that would disable the home key while she is using certain apps for my 2 year old. Are there certain roms this works with? Thanks again!

This won't do what you're asking. This will completely disable the bottom keys. How you navigate around is by using the navigation bar found on ics and jellybean ROMs. There se hundreds of apps to do what your wife wants on the market. If I can find them again I'll pm you.

It's easy on my s3. The s2 is a pain. I know aosp ROMs have the option to turn them off. Let me look at the code and see how it does it. It may be a kernel level mod which if so I won't be able to mod it.
