I've been getting some direct track wake locks from Apollo and from games like plant versus zombies and maple story live. I'm not sure why this happens and it drains my battery because my phone is not sleeping. I am on tasks aokp rom and I use kt kernel. Thanks!

As long as its not keeping your phone from sleeping when you are not listening to music don't worry about it. I get it too from Pandora.
If it is preventing your phone from sleep when it should be sleeping, make sure you close the apps when you are done with the back button.
Hmm I do that yet it still continues to run in the background.

Check the settings in your apps and try to disable background processes. You can also use the kill app back button if you have it available.

My phone doesn't deep sleep but I don't have any wake locks. I'm on aokp m3. It'll deep sleep for usually the first half hour of the night but then sits at my min all night and until I restart it. It never deep sleeps more than 2 hours even if its on multiple days

No, it's killing your phone!
Have you checked which app is draining your battery?
Have you tried other ROM's?
Factory reset?
Wiped Cache?
I've wiped cache. Done several resets while flashing rom updates. None of my apps are really using battery. I honestly can't find a single app keeping my phone going I'm almost ready to start blaming widget locker. Tonight ill try disabling it.
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using XDA App
I would format, and reflash, remove any gaps you might not be using, and not install a single app except for a cpu monitoring app to check on the deep sleep.
Let it sit like that overnight, and in the am check your results. If you see a difference and are getting deep sleep, then its obviously a rogue app thats keeping it awake. After that start adding one app at a time, until you find the "bad app"
I know it takes time and is boring, but thats the beauty of Android and open source...
What kernel are you using?
I'm using Franco's kernel #16.1 right now. My phone has been like this basically since day one but its bothering me lately.
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using XDA App
Really can't find out what's doing this. I'm not getting any deep sleep now. I've gotten rid of any app I can think of. Can anyone think of any "bad apps" off the top of their head?

Try downloading watchdog and setting it to aggressive. That might help you find something

ive seen people saying about deep sleep how do you do it? sorry for a noob question.
It's automatic. When you lock the screen it should go into deep sleep. Download cpu spy to check cpu states
so basically to save you battery . should i use JD?

No need to use Jack Daniels to put your phone into deep sleep. (I dunno what you mean by use JD lol)
Most ROMS, including 100% unrooted stock will use deep sleep.
^^^^^^^ - Bahahaha!
I read the Thread title and started laffing immediately.
========================
Just smash your phone against a wall to make it go into eternal deep sleep, mate.

I believe the chap means 'Juice Defender.' Make sure you don't have apps keeping your phone awake, too.

Right, deep sleep is a battery saving state when phone is not in use. JD makes a smartphone dumb by disabling the radios. It generally uses more battery than it saves. I don't use, nor recommend JD(Have tried it though, and quickly realized it ruins a smartphone and makes no difference in life). However, some people still seem to think it's some great gift from God, but they are mistaken. A simple script to UV and UC/OC can take care of all your battery saving needs. Or if you can't manage to run a script use system tuner to do these things.
If you are planning on running an ICS rom you cannot not UV or OC until kernel source is released, though. You can UC it
Turn the power off lol
Nah I usually close all apps and cached ones as well. No oc UV apps either

Is there a special way to close those apps??
Sent from my SGH-T989 using xda
Like this:
Settings > Applications > Running Services.
Press Menu, and select Show cached processes (you don't have a choice, really).
Now select whichever processes you want and stop them.
Say, M&S, is it ok to stop ALL of those cached processes?

How about screenshots without the volume indicator? You can also try GSam Battery Monitor from the Play Store, to get a little more information on what is eating the battery.

What's your screen on time.
Looked kinda like liteflow might be causing problems?
Cell Standby i think is the one that is coded wrong and is lying, ignore that one.
If you press Android System in settings, battery it will show you the top components being used
Also in dev options look for and check Show CPU Usage. It will show whats using the cpu in the top right of your screen. Watch for what stays in the top few spots in the list.
There may have been something that didnt like the update. Try first uninstalling apps and if that helps reinstall them clean, no data restore. If you continue to have problems backup all data and factory reset. Start clean.
If all else fails use odin to flash the full LH2 fw.
LH2 should be a fairly stable build. Most have no issues and many get outstanding battery life. Im willing to bet its either an app or the way you updated or both.

That's really not THAT bad for a screen on time. I saw your screenshots in the OP, and you were down to 80% in only two hours of being on the battery, but you had the screen on for almost an hour of those two hours; 20%/hr for the first few hours is pretty normal. It's not stellar, but I wouldn't say it's an epic drain that being said, I'm sure you could squeeze some more juice out of it, and prob is just an app causing more drain than usual.
Also when doing a screenshot, it helps to hit the power button first, then the volume, so you don't get the volume pop up every time.

3:30 screen on time it's good no matter how you use your phone. I got 2.45 hours on screen with 1day and 6 hours. I've had issues with liteflow and battery as well. Others say they don't, it seems to depend on how you set the phone and liteflow to work.

I've done some looking around in this too but I think since flash is not supported in JB, they didn't build in provisions to keep the screen awake while using flash content. Don't think there is a way around it
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-T989 using Tapatalk 2
There is no "Stay Awake" function for the stock android browser which I am guessing you are using. However, depending if the ROM you are using has this available (most likely will) a workaround that I use is by going to:
phone settings/display and there should be an option for "Sleep"
... from there you just have to set the phone to sleep after a certain amount of minutes (30 minutes being the max). The only downside is that you have to turn off the screen of the phone manually each time.
Whoops never mind wrong thing.
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-T989 using Tapatalk 2
If its flash TVs or movies.....making it full screen keeps phone awake. If its playing on web page phone will sleep.
Not sure if that helps.
I'm running CMX so I don't have a app specific setting. I have set it to 30 minutes. The person above me, you are wrong. Like the other guy said, I looked into it and found that the modified flash app doesn't have that sleep timer provision so it gos to sleep even in full screen. Sometimes I actually do leave the phone on for 30 minutes and the browser closes. Its really annoying when watching a show like Doctor Who on Amazon Prime. Hopefully, amazon can make an android app for Prime members.

Do you leave them on (don't close them after use)?
Try closing them in running apps if you already exit them properly.

Like I mentioned, go in settings -> manage application -> running applications and manually stop them.
If they restart on their own, then something is triggering them (most likely a app or setting).
I went into the Settings, and Android is showing that while they are using up battery, they are not running. And also, over the past hour, Android OS is using up 18% and Android system is using up 16%. Aren't they supposed to use up like 4% each?

Simply being connected to Google Now can be a big battery drain. Definatly something to look into.
Do you have auto sync on? the more things you sync, the more battery drain you get.
OK. And the only app I have enabled to sync is the email client, which only syncs once an hour.
