when i hit report to report a app it seems to freeze and and i get a message that google play store has stop working,when i go to the google play store everything loads and the app is working, im receiving updates for my apps,has anybody else experience this , is it a google problem, is there a fix?

Shortly after I first got my NG, I installed Google+ app on top of the system app because there was an update to the Google+ app. This caused Google+ to not work correctly. It took ages to open streams and my local stream never updated. So I removed the app and all was fine with the version that came with it.
I now see that there are updates to the G+ app. So can I just download or should I wait for a system update? It seems a bit odd as the app isn't listed in My Apps so I can't just update it.
Any ideas?
Just got the GN and updated the Google+ app with no problems.

I wennt back to the factory version as well. Notifications weren't working. Have to see if the will work now.

Strange
Strange that no-one else has noticed this.
After updating again could not detect any slowdown issues between the streams with Google+. Sadly notifications still aren't working for me
anyone know any fix for this?
i already tried clearing google play cache then reboot. remove then add back the google account, and clear google framework/services cache.
still not working if you download an app through the play store website. so annoying. please help?

I can't get the new hangouts app installed in my galaxy s4. It says it is already installed, but when I press open, it opens the old talk app. Any thoughts?
We need the new Google play services for it to work.

If u already have google music installed on your phone just go to play market and update the app. The new hangout apk is above with all the other apks if needed!!

The new hangout sucks!!! Big time!
I need to know the online status of my friend before I send them a message, I do not want to message ppl while they are in the middle of something.
Also, after install Hangout, Google Play Services seem to be a HUGE battery drain!!!

There is a green under their photo that tells you they are online. Also their photos are bolder than people who are offline.

No, there isn't. Not in the Android app at least. The green underline is visible only in the browser version.
To me Hangout is a HUGE step back compared from Talk.
I can't get no notifications at all...

As someone else mentioned, which is the method i used as well, use your Desktop and go to the google play store, find hangouts and it will let you install, choose your S4 from the devices list, and bam, force-update over Gtalk. You're welcome.
P.S. I suggest you install from the Play Store. Also, notifications work entirely fine for me.
Does anybody know how to delete pictures stored on the gallery from when u send a pic in hangouts it automatically saves them, kinda of annoying. Thanks

The method I used is if you're rooted just uninstall Google Talk w/ Titanium Backup, go into the Play Store and download/install Hangouts.
Just an alternative method from what's been stated.

Is anybody using this app?
Hi all
I don't have Google Now installed.
But when I want to use Google regular search, either from the search bar on top of homescreen or from the app drawer, Google Now keeps trying to install itself. Can I permanently remove Now? And just have regular search?
It is almost like Google Search is advertising Now, but I don't want it ask me to install Now every time, I just want to go straight to search.
Even hitting the microphone opens the Google Now install window, then I must hit the back button to go back to regular search.
This is for CM10.1

Uh Google search is Google now, that's the evolution of search, the only way I know to not get Google now is to search from Google Web page if you install Google search it is all your going to get.

Interesting and I've never noticed that before but I've never not had a reason to.
Looking at the app, Google Now is what Google has built their app around. You can go to your browser and do a search without getting this issue correct?

Perhaps try turning off the history?
It says it "may" disable functions such as Google Now, but I doubt it can be disabled. Search from webpage is my guess.

I rebooted the phone and after that the Facebook app just crashes on launch without any error or anything. I had greenified the app. Uninstalled and installed again. Cleared cache and data. What more do I do

Well sounds like your greenify settings are causing the issue. With Facebook installed go back into greenify and remove the settings for Facebook and reboot. Hopefully it will fix the issue.

I did that as well, but to no avail, it just opens and then closes all by itself,

Lol Well I tried everything a backup and a fresh install. Still stuck on the same issue
Freeze or uninstall Greenify, uninstall/ reinstall Facebook, then see if it works.
