Hi guys,
I'm currently using Arconium MIUI rom with stock 4.0.3 kernel and baseband with a locked bootloader. Since i managed to install a custom rom thanks to the cwm auto installer app will i be able to do the same with a custom kernel?
I just dont want to try it without knowing if I can brick my phone permanently or not.
Does the kernel influence the battery life?

yes, kernel definitely affect the battery life…btw, it is not that easy to brick your phone

Excellent. But do you think it will work flashing a custom kernel, doomkernel for example with the locked bootloader?

You can't flash custom kernels with locked bootloader!

It seems to freeze alot and just tried installing icephone theme but cant seem to apply it

Have you actually got CyanogenMod on your phone? You can't do it on stock rom

Find a temporary CWM and also Download a CM from the ace 2 dev thread onto a micro SD card, then enter recovery (power button+home button+volume up) and flash the CWM first, then wipe cache and dalvik and flash CM

And what is the best bugless custom/stock rom for our phone?
I want no hassle and everything working, but I had some issues with kyrillos before. But this was with the preleaked versions. I see that Cyanogen has some bugs and I want to wait for a bugless version.

I'm using stock XEO firmware (because of stability) while waiting for Sakura CyanogenMod. Try it.
I don't believe there is a truly bug-less custom ROM around for ace 2 yet, maybe try a lite ROM or the Italian job, they seem fast and they don't have many bugs at all usually

Use roms based on stock if you want to be bugfree... (Kyrillos, italian job, v-rom, blue job, lite rom, minimal by judas77...)

If you want to use that theme you have to download cyanogenmod 10 by dh.harald and install it with cmw then you can doenload the theme and you can apply it inside settings at Designs
Cwm backup I got that where do I get cm10 from ive searched but im using 4.1.2 and cant seem to find it

Its simple out of a sudden it shuts down by it self. I try to power it on, it powers on, it passes the kernel logo and enters the bootanimation, and guess what the bootanimation keeps going over and over again and it doesnt load the fw. I'm on .96 any solutions?

Wipe everything and try agaim
Also still no then flash a FTF

I did,i flashed all ICS variants and one GB and all JB variants of stock roms .zip and ftf and no luck...

just wanna know what are the ICS rom compitable with Turbo kernel 3.1 can anyone answer me?
turbo kernel can boot all ics roms and cm9 based roms will work perfect on it
but camera won't work on stock based roms

thaks but i tried on ultimate hd 5.1 and icspeed v12 both went blank screen after kernel logo...

My Xperia Ion lt28i, don't boot and I don't see the Sony Logo :'(.
I had flashed a stock ROM with flashtool , but nothing after...
I really need help .
I know I use a Samsung phone too, but I want my Sony Xperia ION work again !

you must shutdown your sony phone completely just press the power button and volume + at the same time and then flash a stock ROM again.
I suggest to flash stock first,and then you can go to flash custom step by step,it's a good habbit for noob,such as me

What do you mean like before?can't boot?And flash the stock is OK?I mean when you flash stock rom into your rom,anything happen?the light of notification is the same as what forum said,such as the color of light?And what is the flash tool said in the end of flashing?Pls check the following web :http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1849170
I think for you it is most possible is that you didn't install the correct driver.

If you really want others to help you,pls describe what you did on your phone,and what happen to your phone,why you do that,and before you can't boot,it is OK or not?Maght be it is a hardware broken cellphone,what we can do ?What we do to flash the stock rom or customer rom into your cellphone is depanding on the hardware is OK.Understand?And why I ask if you install the driver for your phone,because if just the hardware is OK,can flash the stock to let the phone rework.
