Market troubles

Any body have this issue? I have tried everything multiple hard resets, clearing cache/data and uninstalling updates. I have searched and found nothing in regards to this issue only that people reported apps came back after a few days, mine on the other hand has been weeks so I have to manually search for my updates which sucks. Any ideas would be much appreciated I'm running complete stock and have sent multiple emails to Google's support team or what they call support with no answers

How or when did this happen? Did you just open the market one day and see this or was it after a new phone or rom flash? Did you check the market website and try clearing out the registered devices?

First time it happened was a month ago using titanium after a hard reset, so after that I have hard reset multiple times and got rid of titanium, which I thought was the issue my market worked for a week and then randomly dead again. Haven't checked the web yet ill try right now

Go to this page you can sign in and have a specialist call you right after you fill the form out. I have used this more than once they have helped every time. It says music but they help with all market problems.

Thank you very much going to gibe it a go right after the Vikings game, I did go to the online market and its weird it shows all the phones I've ever used and carrier being sprint but on the sph-d710 it shows no carrier little odd

Made the call, they say this is a known issue affecting any and all phones on all carriers with a fix in the works, not sure if I can completely buy in on this as no one else here has the same issue (so far) and none of my customers have had the issue either. Hopefully no one else is affected but it seems like it could be random

[Q] Carrier Name failure

The Carrier Name on my friends Galaxy Nexus is showing additionally to the real name this string '@@@' (see image below). It is running ICS 4.0.2
Does anybody know where this could possibly come from?

Sigh... this was mentioned at least once before. It's most likely a malware app.

I know and i tried to search for this in the forums but to no avail. guess the string '@@@' is hard to search(find). Google totally ignores it too

I'll see if I can find the thread. If not, check the apps. See what third party apps have been downloaded and then we can give more insight to what it might be.

I had this as well but it seemed to go away on its own after an hour or so? Only happened once though....

Something similar happened once where ROGERS became @OGERS on the phone. It cleared after I rebooted.
No malware
Stock unlocked/unrooted 4.0.1 yakjuux
I sent the screenshot I took to Google, but as expected, they didnt care

A simple reboot was not enough.
He had to remove the battery as well. This fixed it and the characters did not reappear since than.

Onavo extend and leaked ICS Roms

Greetings!
Is anyone using Onavo Extend on any leaked ICS rom? At the moment, I have sfhubs odin OC with kernel plus installed. Onavo support says some roms (they said this rom wouldn't specifically) are missing critical networking components but wouldn't/couldn't tell me which ones, exactly.
I don't suppose anybody here knows? The issue being that the app installs fine but stays in a "paused" state after one clicks the "approve" button to make the vpn connection to the onavo proxy.
Edit: I'd like to know if anyone on any of the ICS leaks for the EP4GT is successfully using Onavo Extend? If so, which rom? I'd also like to know what "critical componets" are missing from most custom roms (so says onavo support) that prevents it from working?

I know of no way of finding out other than to ask those that may know better than I.

If the developer of the app says its not compatible its not compatible. Ive personally never used that app so who knows for sure. Just go back to EL29 if that app is vital to your survival. Best advise I got for ya.

Losing 3g service..

Flash a stock rom and update prl and profile (over wifi), then reboot

I don't have a stock ROM to flash.. if I grab freezas mb1 deoxed will I lose root?

I did a google search and came up with a thousand dif things to which none worked..and if you read.the other thread I still had service it was 1x. But.still something.. now I have no service.. and your post I was first # I tried no good.. so yeah I figured maybe someone could help me figure out what is going on... somebody said it might be antenna.. my phone did get real hot earlier, taking it.to sprint tommorow..thanx to everybody for your help.. it is greatly appreciated, think this phone is on its way out..

I suggest reading it.
The last page has how I fixed this when it happened to me.
You need a tw ROM installed if you don't already and you need your msl.

Google Plus on a custom rom

Google Plus App Location issue: Before I get flamed, let me explain that this might be a custom Rom related issue, hence my post here to check if others have experienced this issue and if there is a fix available.
Installed the latest update of the G+ app. It now has a location feature where you can view your friends location on a map. Unfortunately, I'm getting a blank map with gridlines for a friend who is sharing his location with me. I've posted this question on the G+ forums and there is a suggestion this may be to do with a custom Rom. Anyone else having this issue?

And I'm on the latest G+ app. With a custom Rom installed, and it'sTW based Rom!

Try looking at this post online. I had the same issue on my d2att running CM10.1.2 and it fixed it perfectly after a reboot.
"Root user fix found for Google+ Locations blank tiles and missing maps" on pocketables dot com. (Sorry new here and can't post links yet)

The fix is simply to convert Google+ to a system app. The easiest way being through Titanium Backup
