With just about any ROM I've tried, DEAD TRIGGER and SHADOWGUN have this weird issue where when I start walking, the hand will start to ghost around or move around in "Drunk-Vision".
Has anyone else had this issue? Any way to fix it?
this is a known issue for the developers. Sprint latest JB is the cause..
you could try any of the rom in the Sprint Galaxy S III Original Android Development section and most should work.. I know for a fact that the PARANOIDANDROID Rom works..
Hope this helps..

Did you try clearing data in app manager? I had this problem when installing a custom JB rom on my Verizon GS3. Clearing data solved that problem for me.
I had a similar issue on a custom ROM, I was able to fix it by going to settings/developer options/disable HW overlays. give it a try.

Well that's not it because my settings on the phone are all on auto-rotate.
the usual troubleshooting steps:
1) restart phone
if not
2) full wipe

I'm trying not to full wipe if possible, any more suggestions?
Jedi rom here. No issues with YouTube landscaping for what it's worth. No issues with anything for that matter. Sorry you're having issues. Would help if I had any ideas. Best of luck getting it taken care of without a full wipe.

I'm extremely happy with the Jedi rom and have no other issues besides this. I'm hoping I can find a solution soon! Thanks

2)Wipe cache and dalvic
3)Reboot
4)smile
Had the same issue, this fixed it for me.
Good luck

Well I tried this and it updated apps, but still no landscape mode on phone, not just YouTube. Also, Beats Audio isnt working either. Looks like I'll be reflashing.

I'm on Jedi-X6. I think that the problem may have come when I was flashing it. I had it plugged in to the pc the entire time I flashed. I gave it 15 minutes without touching it instead of the recommended 10.
Update: Reflashed Jedi x6 4.1.2 and I'm having the exact same problem, no landscape at all on phone. I have found three locations on the UI where auto-rotate is selected. Setting, Display, and Auto-rotate screen; Settings, Accessibility, and Auto-rotate screen; and also in the status bar in toggles. Anywhere else it may be.
I am running cm 10.1.0 RC2 and I really love this Rom everything is so smooth and responsive and battery life is unbelievable!!! The only issue I am having with it is whenever my phone is sleeping or the screen is off my hardware keys vibrate and even wake my phone straight to the home screen bypassing the lockscreen??? I am not sure why its doing this or how I could fix it? Has anyone else had this issue or anyone know a fix? Thanks in advance!!

I tried that already as well as fixing permissions.. I might just try reinstalling but I hate getting rid of all the bloat

Nevermind I figured it out it was happening cause under settings/security/screen lock I had it set on none.. So I switched it to slide and all is well again
so I'm having a similar problem, but your solution didn't fix it. when my screen is off my back/menu/etc keys still vibrate.
there is some kind of locker option that lets me slide the keys to unlock but I can't find it in the settings.

Slide to unlock is a kernel thing. Like Cerux Kernel has sweep2wake. Get kernel tuner and check misc to see if you have it.

Yes indeed. The dang thing unlocked my phone in my pocket for quite a while, had to turn it off
Just about every time my phone deep sleeps, wifi shuts off completely. I've tried multiple roms and kernels, and every advanced wife setting combination possible. Thinking it's a hardware issue in which case bye bye nexus.
I've googled and googled and only really found suggestions like "uncheck wifi optimization" or "make sure turn wifi off while sleeping is (un)checked". Tried all of that, and still persists.
Anyone else have this issue, or can someone give me an out of the box tip?
Thanks

You've probably already tried this, but have you tried a full wipe? Also, have you tried wiping you device's internal memory (SD card), and have you tried reverting to complete stock and starting over?
its a known issue with 4.2.2 roms, nothing much you can do about it, temporarily it can work but problem will repeat itself
I have done a full wipe, but not wiped the sd card, or reverted to stock. Hoping to avoid such a tedious task.
So my options are either suck it up, revert to a 4.1 rom, or get a new phone?
Thanks

Thanks for your suggestion, let me try and report back later to see if this works.
This problem has been constantly bugging me that I want to dump this phone. Seriously disappointed with Google over all these bugs...
but I keep wifi optimization off... should I keep it on?
If you are unlocked, you can flash some custom kernels to fix the problem. I use Fancy Kernel and the developer included a fix in the kernel.
Fancy Kernel OP
Work-around for Wifi drops (Kernel specific)
After fiddling with the Wifi Optimisation, I would like to report back that it DOESN'T WORK.
So, I was running pacrom 4.3.1, but myphone started rebooting constantly and not working well, so I flashed on cm10. Well, my phone is doing the same thing again. I have backups, but is it the phone or the roms? any suggestions?
Edit: The phone is working again as it should, but the lock button was acting a little funny. I think it may be a hardware issue, anyone else experience this?

What should I do about the issue I am having? flash back to stock and then take it in, or take it in as is, orr.... what?
Sometimes the time in my status bar goes haywire. I managed to capture a screenshot. Anyone else seen this? It's not a big deal, I'm just curious what would cause it. I'm running stock (touchwiz) 4.3 and rooted.

That strange but I read of 4.3 havin lot's of issues. I had a random soft reboot lately and have been having some weird audio dipping in and out. Also my FPS are laggy on certain games lol.
If you're just rooted w/o any heavy root apps (greenify) (xposed) then I don't know what to tell you aside unfortuantely. I would say flash back to stock but I read that with knox that might not be possible.
sorry for the lack of a solution but hopefully this helps wrap your head around the issue.
