Will this wipe current data?
Sounds interesting, how would one remove it for future upgrades?
This will not wipe any data. Remove samsung apps is buggy. Will fix it later.
Sent from my GT-I9000 using XDA App
you cannot include fancy widget in your update.zip
Updated to v1.1.
See OP.
Could you possibly make a vanilla version for this that only includes the following
- Root
- Superuser
- Busybox
also for JPM/JP6/JPA..
Thanks!
Should there be any issue applying this over a non stock rom?
I presume that is the things like widgets are already gone it will just move on to the next thing...??

Done.
Should work on all Froyo Roms but i've tested it only on JPM.
So you actually replace the standard recovery with clockwork? No update.zip needed? Download mode not affected and 3 button boot puts you into CWM? That's pretty cool if I'm understanding correctly.
I'd be interested in just replacing recovery since voodoo is a must for my phone and the root and busybox come with that already.
Interesting stuff here.

No you can't.
My Kernel will overwrite Voodoo.
Maybe supercurio will include CWM in Voodoo.

Will this mode unlock my phone?? i have XXJPM froyo 2.2
There appears to be no Super user app in this ROM .I have downloaded the app but it's not working. I cant use any app that requires root permission !! Please help me out with it
Miui has its own superuser, just start a root app and you will see
Else you can flash supersu
I used Bin4ry to root the tablet and then flashed PAC-man ROM.
I can't seem to identify the superuser app in use. Read through the app list but did not find anything looks like one. Is it possible to find out? Can I change it to another app?
Thanks
I dont use PAC ROM, but i think there is the Superuser from Kosh Dutta integrated in the ROM, you can see a tab superuser in the settings.
How to remove this stupid ads? Adfree, Adway don't works, i have rooted phones, android 10 alexander rom. Ty
Just use the Youtube Vanced, you can choose between the rooted version or the non root version.
If you choose the rooted version I believe it will install through Magisk,
But if you prefer using the non root version, then you need to install the MicroG which you can download from the website and install the .apks file (just use SAI from playstore)
Now they have the Vanced Manager which is makes things easier

Ty, works like charm :good:
Having to manually disable/delete system apps via adb every time I clean install MIUI is very tedious. Is there any app where you can select multiple apps and delete/disable them at once? I used to use system app remover but it stopped working a long time ago.
If you don't want rooted phone permanently, install Magisk the necessary time to debloat.
For example, use AdbAppControl (https://adbappcontrol.com/en/) or (Debloater Magisk module)...there must be others.
You can try AdbAppControl ( PC Software ) or AppManager ( root app apk ).

If you like MIUI. Try giving MIUI EU a shot. It's the best version of MIUI. Fully debloated and bugs free.
Highly recommend this: https://github.com/MuntashirAkon/AppManager/releases
To my surprise I didn't see any links to wonderful repository of FLOSS: F-droid. So here it is:
