How to remove this stupid ads? Adfree, Adway don't works, i have rooted phones, android 10 alexander rom. Ty
Just use the Youtube Vanced, you can choose between the rooted version or the non root version.
If you choose the rooted version I believe it will install through Magisk,
But if you prefer using the non root version, then you need to install the MicroG which you can download from the website and install the .apks file (just use SAI from playstore)
Now they have the Vanced Manager which is makes things easier

Why wouldn't you just download them from Magisk to, just saves a bit of hassle if you ask me.

I don't know before we can download it from Magisk, I think you can show them how to download it. It can help people who did not understand. You can share it if you want.

Just I think if you were to do it from magisk it's more likely to be upto date that's all.
Can confirm that this method works on Samsung A70 stock Android pie
Hey, whats everyones favorite, and go-to magisk modules or other root mods for the pixel 2 XL device? i have root and im really curious what everyone is using, and for what reason!
I use Energized for adblocking. Downside compared to adaway is you need to use a terminal app for control.
Also use(d) Active Edge mod to allow for linking flashlight to a squeeze.
Another is Vanced as a version for YouTube without the intrusive add videos.
You may want to have the original YouTube app not updated and set to not auto update and enable the build in option to detach the app from the play store by putting an empty file named enable_detach in the cache folder.
Last one is Busybox to make some modules funstional.
Also enable Systemless Hosts in magisk settings.
Is there a way to change the default file manager app without rooting or using custom rom? Xiaomi file manager has so many ads and i want to change it to google files.
i think you can remove - some of the - the ads by going to settings and disabling the "show recommandations" - chinese for show ads
there's a lot of those toggles in miui, also in the security, browser, search in the miui forum there was a guide on where to find them all.
or easier, just go for a custom rom
im not to sure you need to set it default, just install the google version from google play and open that insted of the xiaomi version.
youcant really remove it since it's ibstalled as a system app.

Hi there!
You can remove it by using ADB. If u are new to it, feel free to dm to me for a tutorial.
I have Mi 10t pro and I have magisk rooted version installed. If I install YouTube vanced, it runs fine.
However after some usage I find the normal version installed.
Is there anyway to make YouTube Vanced permanent installed? I am on latest stock Miui version.
Thanks for any hints.

Disable the original youtube app through adb commands - search google, there are plenty of guides how to do that and disable Automatic update on Play store.
Just take a look at New Pipe instead

I disabled YouTube app and also the automatic update on Play store and still it has been replaced.
I removed it via adb, (actually from the phone using a shell app) but the Vanced manager could not install it.
So strange...

So in the end you actually disabled the original youtube app but couldn't install vanced. Search apkmirror for these versions and install the MicroG like normal app and Vanced with SAI app from Play store:
MicroG - 0.2.13
YouTube vanced - 15.05.54.
Good luck, zaqm
Having to manually disable/delete system apps via adb every time I clean install MIUI is very tedious. Is there any app where you can select multiple apps and delete/disable them at once? I used to use system app remover but it stopped working a long time ago.
If you don't want rooted phone permanently, install Magisk the necessary time to debloat.
For example, use AdbAppControl (https://adbappcontrol.com/en/) or (Debloater Magisk module)...there must be others.
You can try AdbAppControl ( PC Software ) or AppManager ( root app apk ).

If you like MIUI. Try giving MIUI EU a shot. It's the best version of MIUI. Fully debloated and bugs free.
Highly recommend this: https://github.com/MuntashirAkon/AppManager/releases
To my surprise I didn't see any links to wonderful repository of FLOSS: F-droid. So here it is:
