Custom Kernel

Hi guys,
I'm currently using Arconium MIUI rom with stock 4.0.3 kernel and baseband with a locked bootloader. Since i managed to install a custom rom thanks to the cwm auto installer app will i be able to do the same with a custom kernel?
I just dont want to try it without knowing if I can brick my phone permanently or not.
Does the kernel influence the battery life?

yes, kernel definitely affect the battery life…btw, it is not that easy to brick your phone

Excellent. But do you think it will work flashing a custom kernel, doomkernel for example with the locked bootloader?

You can't flash custom kernels with locked bootloader!

plz i need help
i cant use my wifi since i flashed jb 4.2.2
i can only connect to wifi then i cant use it to open playstore browser etc
plz help me fast

Guys I have flashed many custom kernels
And I have flashed all stock kernels and roms
And I can only use wifi only in stock gb
I cant use wifi on android 4+(ics or jb)
Soooo pllzzzzzz I really need help

what type of Wi-Fi security do you use ?

Custom kernels require WiFi modules to be installed.

Security isnt the proplem
My problem is I cqn connect to the wifi
But I can't use it the browser playstore etc
I just cant use it on ics /(even stock)
Or jb

Well, then i dont know.
I have similar issue sometimes. I can connect but not browse, restarting modem/router helps me out.

New Xperia S problem

Its simple out of a sudden it shuts down by it self. I try to power it on, it powers on, it passes the kernel logo and enters the bootanimation, and guess what the bootanimation keeps going over and over again and it doesnt load the fw. I'm on .96 any solutions?

I did that and no

Wipe everything and try agaim
Also still no then flash a FTF
If still i cant help you :/

I did,i flashed all ICS variants and one GB and all JB variants of stock roms .zip and ftf and no luck...

Stock rom w/ tether mod

I been looking for a stock rom with the tether mod already in it all the stock roms I found dont have it or i just didnt read it right can somebody tell me a stock rom with it either 4.1.2 or 4.3

I used the doomkernel but now I restored the original kernel and the stock rom.

I have the gin2kitkat rom as well and i recently flashed extreme kernel r4 000p and i did flash the wifi modules , that extremetempz posted i tried both the extreme modules and the stock modules neither of them worked, help pls.

Sorry I have no idea what should you do
Maybe clean install helps you
And another thing is that i remember that lupus kernel was better use that kernel and see what happens
