Find this mod. - Sprint Samsung Galaxy S III

I know for most HTC sense devices they have an unsence script to run in recovery. Just replaced most stock apps with vanilla based android (aosp) for any sense based roms. Do we have that, like an untouchwiz mod?
Silly sheeps, S3's arnt for noobs.

I think what you are looking for is cm10..
Sent from my SPH-L710 using xda app-developers app

No, you run the mod on say free gs3. And it removes like sms, contacts, camera ect... And replaces it with vanilla based aosp.

He was being a smartass, though I happen to agree with him. Just curious, why would you want to do that? I'm asking specifically which ones you would want to replace.

Haha. Status bar, sms, dialer, contacts, keyboard, ect...

Don't be lazy and do it manually, flash the new apps first then use tibu and remove the old apps. That's what I did before I just repacked the roms wizless

Which Inverted Gapps are you guys using? I tried JustinBean 4.2 and they worked pretty good, contacts FC, but other than that they were nice. MMS worked great, but contact backgrounds and text in MMS/SMS were same color and hard to read. Plus anytime you asked a question, nut-hugging, fanboys loved to jump down your throat saying you didnt read or search enough. Great program, but not worth all the drama, IMO.

Got rid of justin's and loaded these today. All but contacts, didnt want to have to re-install everytning if they didnt work. I cant tell any diference, and the nice thing is not having to kiss any ones a$$ to use them. Bonus factor is they are all apk's, so custom loading is a breeze.

Reflash the rom. You removed a system component. Once you do that you can factory reset all you want. It won't coke back until you either extract it or reflash the rock.

Major Trouble

For some reason my phone will not engage in a call. When I go to call someone, it goes in for 2 seconds, and automatically hangs up all by its self! I updated profile, PRL, rebooted, pulled the battery and everything and it still won't work. I'm on Blu Kuban 1.0.5.1 FI27, Agat Kernel #v0.5.4, modem FI03. It has never done this, and for some reason the phone has been beeping randomly at times, there subtle beeps, and I have no clue why, its not dieing or anything so it shouldn't. I really need some help. Also lately it has been saying my texts aren't sending, but the other person is getting them, and I know neither of these problems are related to signal because I have full bars in my house.
Does it hold a charge? Do you have any call blockers? Maybe try a different modem
Sent from my SPH-D710 using xda premium
Yes it holds a charge, I've only had the phone since July 1st of this year... and this is the first time it's ever done this....

Sent from my SPH-D710 using xda premium
Mine does this from time to time due to network issues. Both failed texts and starting to dial out then hanging up. It occurs even with good signal but the network itself is what's hanging. Almost like the firmware at the tower is frozen or lagging really bad, but the NV upgrades are being done in my area currently.

Anyone here that can help me? [Remote Flash]

Can anyone link me to anyone that can remote flash the GS3 to metropcs? I payed someone to remote flash my HTC Droid Incredible months ago, but he no longer does it.
If anyone here would do it for money that'd be even better. Thanks for the help guys.
Have you tried doing it yourself? There are lots of guides around and it's not super hard as long as you can follow directions precisely. Its always much better to be self sufficient than rely on someone else. Especially when doing things like this, that way if you ever run into an issue you can fix it yourself instead of needing to contact someone for assistance. Check out Howard forums and search around xda for guides and info on the software and files you'll need. They can't be fully discussed here on xda do to the legal confusion surrounding carrier flashing cdma devices.

Yes, you can. Sprintzone only works inside the app. It is not required to activate the phone, call customer service or anything else the app does. It just localizes the options.

Not a clue but mine works just fine. I have it deleted tho and not frozen. So maybe that has something to do with it. Could be a dependency still working in the background. Does it FC if you dial the 800#? When u dial that # from your sprint line it converts to *2 when it dials out. All I know is the phone works 100% with every single sprint app removed cuz I'm using mine with 0 sprintware and very little Samsung stuff left and I've called *2 about 10times since Thanksgiving to have my data refreshed from tower upgrades in my area killing my connection
