[Q] Liquidsmooth RC9 question about lock screen - AT&T, Rogers, Bell, Telus Samsung Galaxy S III

Hey guys. Just flashed liquidsmooth RC9 for AT&T galaxy s3. I previously had CM10 and I guess I setup my name to be shown in the lock screen under the clock. When i switched to liquidsmooth it automatically shows my name but now I don't want it there... I looked everywhere in the liquidsmooth settings and just can't find a way to change/delete the name from showing in the lockscreen. Let me know if anyone can help please.
Also, any way to change the font size to be smaller? Seems to be larger than CM and there is no option to decrease font, especially in the text messaging.
Thanks!!!

Settings>LiquidSplasher>Interface>Custom Carrier Label> Leave it blank.

[Q] Paranoid Android - Icon DPI/Folders

Hello All,
I've searched through most of the Paranoid Android Rom thread, and I can't post any questions on that thread since I'm fairly new here so I'm hoping someone will help me out.
I recently downloaded the latest Paranoid Android rom with the fix, and I want to change my Icon size. I wen to the settings and changed the DPI, but when I apply my changes nothing happens. The icons don't change at all.
My second problem is, even with the default app icon DPI, the title block below the icons is not there. I made sure that the option to "hide icon labels" is not checked and I still don't have labels under tablet or phone mode.
Last problem, I might just be stupid, the the OP of that thread has his folders in a 4x4 square folder type look. I can't find anywhere to change the circle folders to that square folder.
Thank you all for the help!!

[Q] How to show lockscreen before PIN?

I'm trying out Touchwiz again after using AOKP for a while and I'm liking it, the only issue is how can I show the lockscreen before entering my PIN? I want my phone to be secure but I hate not having a seeing the actual lockscreen. Anyway around this? Also, does anyone know how to make the status bar clock font any smaller? It takes up way too much space.

nothing you can really do about it as far as the clock goes, maybe if you install a smaller font in the display section.
As far as lockscreen before pin, TouchWiz does not have that option, that was only on AOKP and CM9 roms.
If you don't mind a third-party solution, I just checked GoLocker, and it shows the swipeable lockscreen before you have to enter your PIN.
And I agree with abesgs2; your best bet is a new font for the statusbar time.
Maybe you could find a way not to display it through a ROM hack and instead install an app that displays the clock there, but I don't know anything about that.
Russian smashed across the interwebz from my Galaxy S2.

[Q] Two Questions About 4.1.2 Notification Interface

1. Does anyone else find the notification font to be too big? If it was smaller, I could see more detail, in say, the Gmail notifications. Is there a way this can be changed? Also, is this different on any of the custom TW roms based on this new T-Mobile base?
2. The quick toggles are missing the data toggle. Same questions here: can this be changed? are there custom TW roms that have this? (I believe yes, since all the custom 4.0.4 roms I had included this useful toggle.)
(Note: I'm only interested in custom roms that include Wi-Fi calling, but please feel free to answer generally to help others who stumble upon this thread.)

I'm not sure about the notification font but I think you can just go into the display settings, reduce the font and see how that goes, and for the data toggles I do have one (I'm using the jedi mind trick jb rom by ptmr3) it is also customizable too.

I was also quite surprised by the large font size in the notifications which made everything quite crowded in there. The Display font size in settings does not affect the notification fonts unfortunately. Luckily, ptmr3's Jedi Mind Trick JB includes a nice fix for this with the Per-app DPI settings.
1. In Settings, Jedi ROM Tricks, Custom Framework Install, make sure the Framework is active by clicking Install / Update
2. At the same place, in the Modules tab, make sure Xposed App Settings is checked
3. In Settings Jedi ROM Tricks, Per-App DPI Settings, search for systemUI.
4. Toggle the switch to ON and set DPI to 200 or 210 (I use 210). Leave everything else as is.
5. Click the Save icon in the top right
6. Reboot phone and profit!
As for your second question, JMT JB does include a Data toggle

Right now I'm on the stock official JB release. I've changed the font size under the display settings to tiny, and everything seems much better now. Also if you go into setting in the Messaging App you can check a box to allow the volume rockers to change the size of the messages. This also helped me as I didn't like how big the bubbles were by default. Once you are in a convo you can press the down volume to make everything smaller.

Changing the font size in the settings does not affect the Notifications, but in general I like the small font everywhere. Next weekend, I will probably reroot. I wanted to give stock a chance. The last 6 months I've been bouncing between Infamous 3.1 and Jedi Mind Trick. I will probably give the new Jedi ROM a try.

[Q] P.A.C. Rom Help

I just flashed the latest nightly (7.17.13), and I'm having a few issues. Hopefully someone could help me with them. First one I noticed was that the quick pulldown settings colors are all wonky. I'm seeing some blues, pinks and reds when they used to be black. Another is that the cLock widget on the lockscreen is cut off at the bottom. Also, when i set the cLock widget weather to find my locations automatically, it says my location is G0W and give me the wrong temperature.
Thanks
You can still answer but I could care less.. Going back to Vanilla Rootbox

[Q] Lockscreen landscape bug in CM10 ROM

Hello guys!
I have a bug in CM10-based ROM on lockscreen, it's not nasty, but I'd like to fix it. As you can see in attached screenshot, time is cut on the right side. Seems like it has static width somewhere spelled out.
I think something needs to be changed in lockscreen layout in framework-res.apk, but I don't know what exactly.
Does it move over if you use 12 hour time format?

No, but if I set smaller font size in system settings - it fits but that font size is not suitable for me.
