What does the error say? Wifi calling needs a strong signal or it will beep (loudly) warning you that you're about to drop.

i think its ER022 or something like that. i can go back and double check this number.
my wifi signal is great.

I've downloaded the app several times and I always get the same "can't connect to Nat" mistake. Does any one have any tips?

[Q] Rom with T Mobile Wifi Calling?

Just reaching out to the community to see what they think is the best rom with wifi calling.
Using Jedi at the moment and it just had a wierd problem where it wont connect to the celluar network. Just shows that circle with a slash on it where the signal strengh should be. Wifi calling works fine on wifi. When i go to status it shows the modem as disabled. When i try toggling airplane mode on and off it briefly shows some signal strength before going back to the circle with the slash. Rebooting the phone sometimes makes the celluar network work fine for a bit but the problem returns quickly. Flashing a new modem didnt do anything. But a full wipe of the phone seems to have fixed the issue. So since i am in a wiped state i figured i would see if there is another rom i can try!
Sorry for the long post lol thanks!

Honestly Jedi Master IMO is My favorite Tmobile Based Rom. Your problem is weird. I would try wiping everthing System/data/cache/dalvikcache 3Xs and do Flash JediMaster again. In Aroma choose option to Retain Modem . When finished with Aroma Reboot and dont forget to let your phone settle for 10 min & Reboot. That should fix your problems
---------- Post added at 11:42 AM ---------- Previous post was at 11:39 AM ----------
Also this kinda goes in the Q&A and dont say "BEST ROM" every Dev works hard on there Roms with there own style. So its all in what you like. I Like JediX and Jedi Master IMO just my 2cents
I agree with @G7Baker on both avoiding terms like "best rom" and on your problem being weird. It sounds like it's resolved now, so that's good.
In the interest of keeping the list small I would say the most recently active (I use that term loosely - maybe "most recently updated" but that doesn't mean those that haven't been updated recently suffer from issues by any means) roms that offer wifi calling would be:
- Jedi Master
- NoteS4
- Malicious MD1
- Tweaked
Any of those should be fine if you are feeling a flash-itch, but as they say - if it's not broke don't fix it - your call of course
Tweaked is probably your *best* option given that "dwitherell" always provide very active support.

I had exactly the same problem using stock ROM where it would not switch to cellular for more then a second or two. Turned out the problem was that under the settings for the wifi calling app it was set to "never use cellular". Once i switrched this setting back to "wifi preferred" everything was business as usual.
Ah well, didnt mean literally the best since its subjective. But wanted to see what people liked.
I will be trying jedi again. I didnt realise he had 2 versions and installed the one without wifi calling at first lol
I like the s4 theme that it comes with and the beats and other lil tweaks. I have ver 14 and it seems ver 16 is out now.
Thanks for all the suggestions and i will keep that wifi option in mind for if it happens to me again.
Just wanted to thank the people that took the time to reply.

[Q] Signal Disconnect After Activating Wifi

Whenever I turn WiFi on, my mobile signal drops completely. I just switched from an aosp ROM to dandroid, but I've never had this problem before. I've also already tried flashing a new modem.

Wifi calling enabled? The blue phone in the top left. Means you don't need the mobile signal.

Not for text messages either? That would explain why whatsapp was glitchy

If wifi calling is enabled, SMS/MMS goes over wifi. It has occasional issues but is normally pretty stable if your wireless connection is solid.
I don't use WhatsApp, but I would guess that it sends over data anyhow. So question is not relevant to the problem, and neither is the answer.

Actually just read what the Wifi calling is. It's not that, not available in the UK, as far as I know.
This is just a regular call will not go through to the phone if the Wifi is turned on, the person calling hears "Sorry this number is not available, please try again later."
If I turn wifi off, the phone works fine.
I'm now on my 2nd phone and this one is exactly the same out of the box.
Could a fault SIM card cause this? Although I had no issue with the SIM in my old phone.

Mobile network staying on when connected to WiFi...

Hi Everyone,
I recently updated my phone and everything seems to be working fine, but I noticed after updating, that when connected to my Wi-Fi, the mobile network stays on, it does disappear. Before the update, if I was connected to Wi-Fi, the 4g LTE indicator would disappear, but now it stays on. Even when I turn off the network, it still stays active.
Does anyone know why this is happening and how to fix it?

It's actually just the LTE icon for data and I've even turned off VoLTE and it still stays active

I had that icon using Viper. Switch to airplane mode and it goes away. Get LTE discovery app from playstore. It will show mobile disconnected when on Wi-Fi. Look under network info
Edit: just noticed you also asked in Viper thread as well and got your answer (it's just an icon issue). Lol XDA users.
You guys are funny.
Check Developer Options. There is an option to keep data on at all times to make switching between data/wifi faster and that's what's happening to you.
It's either preset by a MOD in Viper ROM or you somehow toggled it on accidentally. Easy fix.

Actually, you are funny cuz I already checked that toggle and made sure it was off haha. It was actually an icon bug in the Viper ROM I am using. I switched the signal icons from ATT to T-Mobile and the data icon vanished when connected to WiFi.
